The two azure electric beams emitted by Fang Lin Kong easily shattered Lei Chan's ice spear into countless shards, which were then vaporized by the lightning energy from the Liexie Twin Hooks. As Lei Chan focused his gaze, he realized it was the Hundred Seas Dragon that had accompanied Fang Lin Kong. This enormous Sea Serpent appeared terrifying even from beneath the water's surface, but now that it had risen into the air, Lei Chan's bravado faltered as he felt his face pale.
Fang Lin Kong finally had the chance to see the true form of this deep-sea monster and couldn't help but exclaim.
"What a gigantic creature!"
The size of the Hundred Seas Dragon was indeed immense; although only half of its body emerged from the water, it towered several hundred meters high, thicker than any skyscraper on Earth, emanating an icy aura.
Floating apart from Lei Chan, Fang Lin Kong faced the Hundred Seas Dragon. The beast's golden eyes locked onto him with an intense gaze. The overwhelming pressure radiating from it compelled Fang Lin Kong to retract his Liexie Twin Hooks for protection.
In the astonished eyes of onlookers, the deep-sea giant suddenly opened its massive mouth, resembling a tunnel, unleashing a thunderous wave.
"That kid, where did your Liexie Twin Hooks come from? Who is your master? If you can't explain the origins of this item clearly, then you might as well roll down to hell!"
Confronted by such domineering words from the Hundred Seas Dragon, Fang Lin Kong was not inclined to answer happily.
Taking a deep breath of fresh air, he raised his head defiantly to meet those golden eyes that were even larger than his own body.
"My Liexie Twin Hooks came from its original owner. As for why he passed it on to me, you can ask my master! If you have the qualifications to Ascend to the celestial realm!"
Fang Lin Kong was no fool; it was clear at a glance that Liexiezi was not a good person. He certainly had more enemies than friends, and it was likely that he had no friends at all. In contrast, Voidbreaker seemed much more reliable. As one of the Kunlun Twelve Immortals, and having held power in Kunlun for so long, he naturally had friends all over. Even if he didn't have many friends, his enemies were surely all dead. There was no need for Fang Lin Kong to think twice about this choice.
When he initially acquired the treasures from both of them, he had already considered these matters. This action finally caught the attention of the beast; it lowered its massive head, and its roaring gradually subsided. Heng Ji's expression turned serious as he replied to Lei Chan, "A magical beast like the Hundred Seas Dragon possessing such high intelligence—aren't you curious about that?
