The feeling of pressure made Fang Lin Kong let out a low growl, his fists smashing into the cave floor, which was either granite or marble. A tremendous sound echoed as the hard stone cracked, creating a basin-sized pit. The surrounding stone patterns erupted, extending several meters away.
"This power is even more astonishing than the energy from Gouli Heaven's Tome. This is only one-tenth of the demon power; how strong can this guy be?"
As fragments of stone hit his face, Fang Lin Kong felt no pain at all. However, it did bring him back to his senses a bit. Memories from the future informed him of what choices to make, but the real experience still left him in shock. At that moment, his clothes had been completely torn apart, leaving only his elastic underwear intact enough to prevent him from running around naked in embarrassment.
Just as Fang Lin Kong stood up, Liexiezi reached out a hand, and a golden beetle flew out from his palm. He said to Fang Lin Kong, "With this guiding Seeking Demon Bug, you won't have to worry about getting lost in these intricate underground caves. I don't know much about these natural caverns either, so be careful."
Looking at the golden beetle that had just flown beside him, Fang Lin Kong finally accepted the reality before him. He moved his body, which was brimming with overwhelming power, realizing he was not dreaming.
The Seeking Demon Bug emitted a faint oily sheen, its golden body resembling an unreliable oil lamp in the dark underground world. It floated up and down slowly, guiding Fang Lin Kong forward.
Under the guidance of the Seeking Demon Bug, Fang Lin Kong had already traversed through the complex underground caves for several hours. At this moment, he felt that his senses and reactions were significantly sharper. Occasionally, sharp rocks would scrape against him. After enduring the transformation of Liexiezi's demon power, his body had become exceptionally resilient; the rocks broke easily like matchsticks upon impact.

The Seeking Demon Bug was originally one of the most basic pieces of equipment for Taoists. Any type of insect could be successfully refined into one; the method was quite simple. While it did not possess the ability to disperse demons like ordinary Daoist Sect treasures, through the eyes on its head, the user could see what the Seeking Demon Bug saw with their spiritual awareness. Additionally, the Seeking Demon Bug was sensitive to energy fluctuations and could automatically seek out powerful sources of spiritual and demonic energy.
Liexiezi could not leave the place where he was trapped. Although he knew where his remaining treasures were, he had no way to retrieve them. He had explored every corner of this place with the Seeking Demon Bug and was already aware of the location of the treasures.
However, due to his senior brother Voidbreaker sealing off his powers, he could not go anywhere himself. Thus, he used his magic to transfer Fang Lin Kong underground, seeking help from him.
When Fang Lin Kong left, Liexiezi comforted him, saying, "There is no danger here. With one-tenth of my demonic aura protecting you, as long as you are careful, you will be completely fine. My original body is not here, and my Yuan Shen has only cultivated the Innate Sword Artifact for protection, which I cannot lend you. You will have to rely on your own efforts."
Fang Lin Kong learned from Liexiezi's explanation that the faint Green Crystal before him was the Innate Sword Artifact. The Azure Sword Light that Voidbreaker used to slay him also originated from the Innate Sword Artifact. It was common for cultivators to practice with Flying Swords; however, a Flying Sword is a tangible object that, although it can be enhanced by spiritual energy to extend or shorten its blade light, ultimately remains limited by its physical form and cannot achieve divinity. Any Flying Sword that has undergone multiple refinements by its master and survived tribulations can merge with the master’s essence and Yuan Shen after refining impurities, transforming into an intangible Innate Sword Artifact.
The Innate Sword Artifact does not have a fixed shape; it is no longer just a long sword. It can change form at the will of its master. Voidbreaker could unleash ten azure sword lights using the Innate Sword Artifact and could even combine them into one to slay Liexiezi's original body. Its usage was free and varied, with power that rivaled even Ancient Celestial Weapons. This was the primary tool for cultivators to defend themselves.
Fang Lin Kong gazed enviously at the swirling green sword light surrounding Liexiezi, nearly drooling at the thought. Memories of the future reminded him that Liexiezi would become his greatest enemy; Fang Lin Kong believed he would not do anything foolish. The faint Light Spot of the Seeking Demon Bug floated leisurely ahead as it flew. Fang Lin Kong quickened his pace to keep up closely. Having received one-tenth of Liexiezi's demonic power, Fang Lin Kong did not realize how formidable this power truly was. Without a mirror on hand, he could not see his own terrifying appearance—his body a sickly green and his eyes blood red. He had been diligently refining this demonic power; ever since merging with the consciousness left by his future self, Fang Lin Kong had elevated his mental state and could easily transform the attributes of the power within him. However, this demonic power was simply too strong; despite his efforts, he had only managed to convert less than one-tenth of it.
Once cultivators reach the stage of shedding their shells, they are no longer considered human. Achieving Xian Dao through normal means results in an immortal physical body; through abnormal means, anything is possible.
Transformed into a monster, Liexiezi now possessed enough cultivation to move mountains and part seas. Even one-tenth of that power would be sufficient for Fang Lin Kong to easily demolish a small Commercial Building once mastered. He could even reach levels comparable to Oren Vikin in an instant.
Under Liexiezi's guidance, although still inexperienced, Fang Lin Kong controlled the Seeking Demon Bug well as it flew agilely ahead of him. In many places, the Seeking Demon Bug would scout ahead to ensure there were no issues inside so that Fang Lin Kong wouldn't waste time unnecessarily. When Fang Lin Kong finally located the actual spot, he encountered an invisible barrier. Although he could see what was inside, he couldn't pass through. A layer of unseen force blocked his way. Just as he was at a loss for what to do, he suddenly felt a chill coalesce around him, and his right hand instinctively lifted.
His already thick and muscular hand swelled dramatically, inflating like a balloon. From his fingertips to his shoulder, it gradually expanded, the muscles in his arm bulging by twenty percent. A green light began to swirl around his arm, and with a crisp sound, Fang Lin Kong's hand passed effortlessly through the previously impassable area.
