Stepping out from the Solomon Clan's Sanctuary, a luxurious black and gold carriage came to a halt before him.
Garen glanced at Bai, who stood guard nearby. After a moment of silence, he entered the dark carriage. Unlike the exterior, the interior was bright as day, likely enhanced by some form of magic to shield against prying eyes from outside.
As expected, Su Ye sat at the opposite end of the carriage, seemingly having waited for a long time.
"You didn't abandon it; that surprises me," Su Ye said, lazily opening her eyes. Her gaze fell on Garen's ring finger, where two rings shimmered—one dark gold and the other emerald green.
The carriage door slowly closed, and the two Crimson Flame Demon Horses let out a neigh before swiftly galloping away.
The speed of the carriage was astonishing, yet the interior remained completely stable.
"I'm not like you," Garen shook his head, memories of young Su Ye surfacing in his mind.
For some reason, when he looked at this woman before him and her image overlapped with that of the little girl in the Sanctuary, Garen couldn't help but feel she was pitiful.
