The night wind rustled the leaves, and the Jet Black Armor showed signs of Cracks. A dim light flowed through the fissures, transforming into wisps of black mist that dissipated into the air. 0

As the Magic Armor vanished, Garen's body trembled, as if he might fall at any moment. 0

This action sent a shockwave through everyone's hearts. 0

"Is he... a Second-Stage Warrior?!" Terlino's pupils widened, filled with trembling fear and anger. "You old fool, you’ve betrayed us!" 0

"No, it’s impossible... Two months ago, he was just a level 6 warrior!" Oshuria's voice quivered. 0

"Then how do you explain that he is still alive? You know the power of the Holy Silver Crossbow Bolt; unless he possesses Second Rank strength, he shouldn't have been able to withstand it! Open your eyes and see clearly—he is still standing there!" 0

"No... there must be some special reason... What are you going to do?!" Oshuria screamed in panic as he saw Terlino's sword pointed at his chest. 0

"Isn't it clear enough?" Terlino's face darkened severely. "We agreed to help you for two reasons: first, because your offer was quite generous. Second, because we believed we had control over the enemy's strength! But you never mentioned that a Second-Stage Warrior would intervene! Damn it... you want to get us killed!" 0

"This was an accident... there must be some special circumstances..." Oshuria argued. 0

"An accident? Are you suggesting this guy suddenly advanced to Second Rank? Before this, he was just a level 8 warrior?!" 0

Terlino's emotions began to spiral out of control, his eyes filled with bitterness. Having undergone formal training, he understood how terrifying a Second-Stage Warrior could be! Even My Lord Baron would not dare to offend a Second Rank being, let alone attack one with a Holy Silver Crossbow Bolt! 0

More importantly, even if they were to sever Oshuria's head, it would not change the situation. After all, it was Terlino himself who had shot Garen with the Holy Silver Crossbow Bolt! 0

Now, he was on the verge of losing his mind! 0

"Terlino, put down your sword. That man is not a Second-Stage Warrior." At that moment, Skorando finally spoke up. 0

Terlino paused, casting a puzzled glance. 0

"Although the Holy Silver Crossbow Bolt is a Second Rank weapon, its true purpose is against mages. On the battlefield, its anti-magic effect can effectively destroy a mage's Spiritual Power. However, because of this, the armor-piercing effect of the Holy Silver Crossbow Bolt has been weakened numerous times; thus, its impact on a Second-Stage Warrior will not be significant and may even be poor. In other words, even the weakest Second-Stage Warrior can withstand a Holy Silver Crossbow Bolt!" Skorando, having been a personal guard to the Baron, naturally knew much. 0

Skorando pointed not far away and said, "But look—after all this time, he still hasn't come over." 0

"Is he stalling for time?" Oshuria exclaimed, but the two people beside him ignored him. 0

Terlino's eyes lit up. "Are you saying... he can no longer move?" 0

"That's right. If my guess is correct, what truly stopped the Holy Silver Crossbow Bolt may not be his strength, but rather that armor from earlier. It’s likely some powerful Second Rank combat technique..." Skorando grinned, "But whether it's using a Second Rank technique or resisting the Holy Silver Crossbow Bolt, it will drain his Fighting Spirit, even to the point of exhaustion!" 0

"Then, who among you will go and test him?" Oshuria suddenly said. After Skorando's detailed analysis, Oshuria finally felt at ease. With Terlino sheathing his sword, he let out a sigh of relief. 0

However, neither Terlino nor Skorando responded. 0

Clearly, even if they suspected the truth, they still dared not approach Garen. 0

It was well known that many theories could not be established in real combat; rushing in would lead to only two outcomes: killing the opponent or being killed by them! 0

At that moment, Oshuria thought of an excellent candidate. 0

"Big Wolf! Go kill him; he can no longer resist!" Oshuria shouted towards Arena. 0

Strangely enough, Big Wolf showed no signs of doubt. After a brief moment of silence, he turned and ran toward the ruins. 0

Oshuria was taken aback; having such a foolishly brave individual willing to take risks was ultimately a good thing. 0

Just then, a lazy voice echoed from within the tavern. 0

"Everyone withdraw." Edward finished his last sip of wine and stood up to adjust his cuffs as if he had just enjoyed a sumptuous meal. 0

Edward's warriors exchanged glances, wondering if their lord was truly giving up. Yet they lacked the courage to ask and silently exited the tavern. 0

"Edward, I'm glad you made the right choice!" Oshuria sneered. "Rather than let these loyal subordinates accompany you to your grave, it’s better for just you to die!" 0

"The one who will die is you," Edward replied with a faint smile. "The farce has come to an end." 0

"What do you mean?" Oshuria scoffed. 0

Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, Edward picked up a bottle of red wine from the counter and made his way to the far corner of the tavern, as if trying to evade some storm. He pointed towards the ruins. 0

Oshuria suddenly felt a bad premonition. He turned his head to look and froze in place. 0

The Big Bad Wolf walked through the entire expanse of ruins and approached Garen, who was on the verge of collapse. 0

He stood still for a few seconds, seemingly admiring something… 0

Then he stepped closer and slowly extended his hand… 0

He supported Garen! 0

"It seems my luck is quite good today, getting to see you in such a miserable state," came the mocking voice from beneath the mask. 0

Garen's muscles were completely drained, and his mental state was even worse. His eyes were bloodshot; he had just exerted himself to cast Magic Armor, which had not only exhausted his Fighting Spirit but also consumed a significant amount of his vitality. 0

"Hand over all your hidden goods…" Garen wearily glanced at him. 0

"You really don’t hold back with me!" the Big Bad Wolf exclaimed, pulling out two vials of Fighting Potion from his pocket. After removing the caps, he fed them into Garen's mouth. 0

The potion flowed down Garen's throat and into his abdomen, transforming into warm currents that nourished his weakened body. Soon, several traces of Fighting Spirit appeared within his empty Qi Xuan. 0

"Tsk tsk, worse than I imagined. It seems these two vials of Fighting Potion…" The Big Bad Wolf observed Garen's body, but suddenly, his voice trailed off. 0

A vibrant green light suddenly erupted from Garen, enveloping him like emeralds! This radiance overflowed with an immense life force, its richness beyond imagination. In just a short moment, Garen's injuries had healed significantly! 0

"Alright." Garen opened his eyes; the Emerald Battle Aura was still restoring his body, and some of his mobility had returned. 0

"What… what is this?" The Big Bad Wolf was stunned. 0

"Resilience." 0

"Alright, sounds like some kind of skill. How many times can it be activated?" 0

“Every Four Days.” 0

“Oh... that's true. If such a powerful skill could be unleashed infinitely, it would be truly unbeatable...” the Big Bad Wolf said reluctantly. 0

“Give me some more.” 0

Garen took a few more bottles of Fighting Potion from the Big Bad Wolf and drank them all. Although Resilience Talent could help him recover from injuries, he still needed items like potions for Fighting Spirit. After downing several potions, Garen felt that his Fighting Spirit had recovered to about seventy-five percent and was continuing to improve rapidly. 0

The two fell silent and walked side by side toward the tavern. 0

As they reached the tavern entrance, they could already see Oshuria's fierce face. 0

“Big Bad Wolf! Do you know what you're doing?!” Oshuria roared angrily. 0

“I know.” 0

“You... you will pay for your foolish actions! Damn it... what were you thinking? You don't go after your two targets but instead help the enemy! This is betrayal!” 0

“The price you offered was indeed tempting, but I had no choice...” 0

The Big Bad Wolf pointed at Edward and Rody, saying, “Who told you that your two targets are my brother and my younger brother?” 0
