Miss Fortune was about to say something when Cui Ming made a shushing gesture, looking outside while drawing a card with the other hand. Miss Fortune immediately reached for her gun. Seconds later, a person with an umbrella swept by and fell into the water.
They should not have noticed them. Cui Ming pointed to a stone beside Miss Fortune, took it, placed it near her head, and then slowly shifted, using the stone as cover while looking down.
"A naked woman, very beautiful, with an excellent figure... she is lying bare on... it seems like she's lying on a net."
Miss Fortune immediately tensed up and asked, "Can you see the net?"
"Yes, but she is still some distance from the surface of the sea; the waves barely wet her as she rolls around."
Miss Fortune asked again, "Are her lower eyelids red?"
"Yes." Cui Ming quickly pulled her head back in. The two waited quietly for a moment. When Cui Ming looked again and saw they had not been discovered, she asked, "Who is she?"
"Her name is Spider; no one knows her real name." Miss Fortune whispered in Cui Ming's ear, "She is not a wanted criminal by the Alliance. Rumor has it that she is over a hundred years old, maintaining her youth and power by absorbing the strength of practitioners. Hunters suspect that there are ten missing practitioners related to her, but there is no objective evidence; the subjective evidence is that every practitioner who has had contact with her has gone missing. Because two of the missing were from prominent families, four families sent assassins to eliminate her, but she vanished without a trace. This happened eighteen years ago."
"Looking at her appearance, she looks like a young girl." Cui Ming asked, "Could it be someone else?"
"It’s definitely her; she appears to be in her late teens, well-developed. With makeup, she could become an elegant noblewoman. Although compared to Liu Meier, her looks are far inferior, her ability to seduce men is nearly unstoppable."
"If we are wary of her, won't we be able to resist her seduction?"
Miss Fortune said nothing and gently bit Cui Ming's earlobe. A light lick made Cui Ming shiver. The sensation was too good; she quickly moved away a bit. Miss Fortune scoffed, "Even the most basic physical temptation gets you this reaction; what about someone experienced?"
Cui Ming hurriedly said, "Let's get back to business."
"This woman is strong; it's been eighteen years since we last saw her. I don't know if her strength has increased further. In a two-on-one situation, our chances are 37 to 63." Miss Fortune stated, "Even with Wind joining us, it would be at most 50-50. Her hair is strange. Like a spider's web—transparent and colorless—it's hard to detect even with trained eyes. Once ensnared and tied up, you can't move at all. The more you struggle against the Force, the tighter the web wraps around you. This is just one of her abilities; she has only shown this one before. She is classified as a dangerous individual by Wandering. It's worth noting that even the witches of Antarctica do not make it onto Wandering's list of dangerous individuals."
"Cui Ming" said, "Is there really no choice but to give up?"
"Yes," " Miss Fortune " replied.
"Cui Ming" leaned back, noticing his hair floating in the air. He remarked, "It seems the other party doesn't want to give up."
" Miss Fortune " saw "Cui Ming's" hair suspended mid-air and realized that the spider had discovered them. It sealed the exit with its web. With a flick of his hand, "Cui Ming" sent a card flying out with almost no resistance. He tore off a strip of cloth and placed it at the exit, only to find it stuck. Indeed, he could cut through the spider silk, but the replenishment speed was incredibly fast. What did this spider mean? Should they fight?
"Haha." A voice drifted up from below. A tall woman dressed in black floated five meters away—not truly floating, but suspended by spider silk. This woman had faintly red bags under her eyes and wore black lipstick. She had a good figure and was beautiful, her makeup strikingly bold. She resembled Eva somewhat, but while Eva exuded a seductive aura, this one radiated the essence of the "Queen."
The "Queen" didn't shout loudly or have a strong fist; rather, her attitude was evident in her words. The spider looked at the two of them. "Cui Ming" held " Miss Fortune," who had her head resting on his chest, her eyes filled with fear, while "Cui Ming" tried hard to remain calm.
"Oh my, isn't this ' Miss Fortune'?" The spider said with clear surprise upon recognizing her, though her tone remained composed.
"Damn it," "Cui Ming" thought as he glanced at " Miss Fortune." So much for playing dumb; sister, are you really that famous? " Miss Fortune " herself was puzzled and sat up to look at the spider. "How do you know me?"
The spider smiled. "'Eternal Sphere' has only six hunters. People like us who live in hardship tend to pay attention to the government's lackeys. So what's this about today? Are hunters trying to secretly capture me?"
"Cui Ming" also sat up and faced the spider. "Sister, we have nothing to do with you. We came to 'Silent City' to find 'Sadin.' My senior brother couldn't become a hunter because of 'Sadin,' so we decided to come and take a look."
The spider remained noncommittal, sizing up "Cui Ming." "What's your name?"
"Cui Ming."
"Hmm... I haven't heard of you, but you seem quite appealing," the spider replied. "Whether you're looking for 'Sadin' or not, I don't care if you're lying to me. Since you've entered my web, you'll have to pay a price. ' Miss Fortune,' how about lending me your man for a few days?"
" Miss Fortune " questioned, "What do you want him for?"
"What do you think?" The spider asked with a smile. "The men on this island are either old or crazy; it's rare to have fresh meat delivered right to my door. What do you say? Want to join in? I wouldn't mind."
"Spider, you take your own path, and I'll take mine. We hunters have nothing to do with you; you're not a wanted criminal. Why offend the Alliance for beauty?" Miss Fortune replied. "The Four Great Families have never let go of you."
Spider chuckled softly, "Cui Ming, will you come with me? As long as you serve me well, I'll let your little lover go."
Cui Ming responded, "To walk with my sister is like being in paradise, something every man yearns for. Of course, I would be more than willing."
Spider smiled at Cui Ming, "Hearing you say that makes it feel a bit adventurous. Since you want to leave, let's go."
With that, Spider's silk slithered like a snake into the cave, binding Cui Ming's left hand and wrapping around her body. Cui Ming remained unfazed and said, "Sister, let's make one thing clear: it's all fun and games, but you can't kill me."
"Ha ha, that depends on whether I want to kill you," Spider replied as she pulled Cui Ming into a princess carry and left. Four small spiders appeared near the cave entrance, continuously throwing webs into the cave. Miss Fortune fired repeatedly; the bullets hit layer upon layer of spider silk, barely penetrating and lacking any real lethality. Miss Fortune knew that in the Rainforest there was a spider whose silk was stronger than iron of the same volume; even birds couldn't escape its grasp. These four spiders were clearly clones of Spider's Force; her bullets were not sharp weapons but blunt instruments—the spider silk was her nemesis.
This was a big problem... Miss Fortune was anxious, not knowing what plan Cui Ming had. If she couldn't escape, Cui Ming's innocence would be tarnished... Well, tarnished is tarnished; after all, he wasn't her man. But the key issue was that once Spider grew tired of a man, she would kill him and absorb his energy, leaving no body for the Alliance to accuse her.
...
Spider silk couldn't stop Force but could bind people. Cui Ming was taken back to Stone House and placed on the Leopard Skin Bed. Spider smiled charmingly and entered the next room. Cui Ming surveyed Stone House; it wasn't large—one bedroom, one living room, a small study-like room, and a kitchen. The bedroom was exquisitely decorated with various flowers that emitted a faint fragrance.
As she was observing, Spider returned wearing an extremely revealing black leather outfit and holding a whip...
What is this? Wasn't she supposed to come back without clothes? Spider approached Cui Ming and struck down with the whip. At first confused, Cui Ming felt the force of the whip penetrate her body—there was pain mixed with itchiness and a lightness to it. Seeing Cui Ming's expression satisfied her; she sat beside her and let her fingers wander over Cui Ming's body. "Eliminate Force, and I will grant you pleasures only found in paradise."
Strangely enough, the movement of her fingers carried Force that intertwined with Cui Ming's own Force, making her body feel an expectation—a sensation difficult to articulate. Spider noticed Cui Ming's reaction in her lower region and leaned closer to whisper in her ear, "Eliminate Force so I can serve you."
Cui Ming rolled away and sat up. "What kind of sorcery is this... Wait a minute, Spider! I'm not here for you to serve me. I came to talk about something. I have a few conditions."
"Conditions? What do you want?" Spider asked playfully.
Cui Ming cursed under her breath and said, "First condition: keep today's encounter with me and Miss Fortune a secret. Second condition: I need you to tell me about the monthly schedule of the Four Elders. Third condition: I need you to contact Sadin and have him come here to find me."
The spider questioned, "What if I refuse?"
Cui Ming replied, "Although you are not a wanted criminal of the alliance, in this situation, I can only take extreme measures."
"What do you mean?"
"If you refuse, I will kill you," Cui Ming answered. If pretending to be weak wouldn't work, then he had no choice but to act like a predator.
The spider stood up, her smile vanishing. "Is that all you've got?"
Cui Ming continued, "Do you know how many of us there are? Do you understand our true purpose? Sure, maybe you could kill Miss Fortune, but remember, you cannot kill me. And one more thing: if you harm Miss Fortune, we will definitely retaliate."
The spider approached and lifted her foot, pressing it against Cui Ming's chest, slowly sliding it down. "I’m only holding back because I find you interesting. If you want to die, you'll have to wait until I've had my fun first. Comfortable?"
Damn, it was truly pleasurable... No wonder Ding Ze enjoyed this so much. Cui Ming thought to himself as he endured the sensations coursing through him and tried to remain calm. "We are here to assassinate the Lord of Quiet City because he is colluding with the Fire Cult Practitioner. I am a member of the champion team from the first Competition Match of the alliance. We are all here, including Wandering and Wei Wei; the entire hunter team is mobilized. Sister, I'm not turning hostile now because we don't want our plan to fail because of you."
The spider seemed to be listening, or perhaps she wasn’t; she cut her belt and slid her hand into her pants, letting out a sultry moan...
Cui Ming gritted his teeth and continued, "I can give you a chance. As long as you stay quietly here without contacting anyone and keep our identities and purposes secret, we can let you go."
The spider appeared to hear nothing as she licked Cui Ming's abdomen like it was a delicacy. Suddenly, Cui Ming vanished without any warning. The spider’s silk fell away; her hands were empty, and her tongue was left wanting... (To be continued.)
