Cui Ming said, "Zhir told me that there are many types of curses, and spells are the most common. The curses that ordinary people talk about are usually fake, but curses do exist. There are many possibilities, such as the date of birth or places visited. These curses are not spoken by humans but are curses from nature. Perhaps this curse grants you power, or perhaps it takes something away from you. Just like some people are born with certain disadvantages. It sounds mysterious, but the probability exists, like one in five hundred thousand. However, I do not agree with Zhir's views." 0

"Heh heh." Wind chuckled and said, "Fortunately, none of us will fall in love with her." 0

"Practitioners tend to be more rational and indifferent to emotions, while also making rational choices regarding their feelings." Cui Ming couldn't help but throw an apple at him. "Stop posing; you've been at it all morning. Aren't you tired?" 0

"That's just how I pursue things." Wind Blade sliced the apple into pieces, unfazed. He focused his gaze, making his expression deep, holding the knife horizontally in front of his brow. He looked in the mirror and said, "I like this look." 0

Cui Ming stepped outside without looking back and knocked on the door. " Miss Fortune, can I stay here for half a day?" 0

"Come in." Miss Fortune understood well and tossed her head to let Cui Ming in. "This morning, I've had the impulse to crush him at least ten times." 0

"Well, if you're going to pose, then I'll step aside, but in the cabin..." Although the luxurious room wasn't extravagant, it was spacious enough with two beds. Cui Ming didn't mind, nor did Miss Fortune. Cui Ming lay down, put on an eye mask, and closed his eyes to sleep. 0

... 0

When the ship arrived at a neighboring country of Dawn Empire, Cui Ming began searching for local ships willing to sail to Devil's Delta. However, he was disappointed after consulting over a dozen captains; despite offering high prices, all responses were negative. The main issue wasn't the reefs but that compasses wouldn't work in that area. Once you enter these waters, you may not reach Devil's Delta at all. Even if you do arrive, you wouldn't know it until you see Silent City; many ships had run aground there hundreds of times. 0

Since that was the case, there was an extreme alternative: heading to the far west of the Western Continent where there was a large island with a small town on it—part of Dawn Empire's territory. This place was also one of the three major Navy headquarters of Dawn Empire. Supply ships for Silent City would replenish here. 0

This kind of risky and uncomfortable proposal naturally came from Miss Fortune. Unless Cui Ming had his Fate Card or other means to pass through objects and detect practitioners inside, normally even trained eyes couldn't see through opaque objects. Among those transporting goods, only one or two were messengers; the city lord created stable wildmen using magic circles whose strength was inferior—deceiving them wouldn't be difficult. 0

However, Cui Ming disagreed with Miss Fortune's suggestion. Many people can point out flaws in others' opinions when opposing them and sound very reasonable while doing so. Yet there are also many who cannot offer better suggestions when they disagree. Cui Ming certainly wouldn't be one of those; his suggestion was to sail himself. 0

The three of them couldn't operate a large ship but could manage a yacht; one person could pilot it while also carrying enough batteries since transportation and shipping heavily relied on batteries. The battery technology was quite advanced; charging for two hours could provide a range of 150 kilometers at a speed of up to forty kilometers per hour (realistic). 0

There were risks involved as well; first was maintenance—if the ship broke down, they would be left helpless. Secondly, this type of yacht was only suitable for nearshore activities due to its lightweight material; encountering rough seas could lead to disaster. There were sturdier yachts made from lightweight alloys available but they were expensive and scarce. 0

Cui Ming's plan was to hijack a yacht belonging to a member of the Elder Council from Dawn Empire since this member was currently in a neighboring country for several days and would be taking this expensive yacht to a Navy base. Of course, he could borrow it if he was willing to lend it out. 0

"There’s no risk. We buy the supplies we need during the day, rob at night, and then we leave," Cui Ming explained the plan. 0

"The only risk is that you’re robbing a yacht belonging to a member of the Elder Council, which is different from dealing with the Emperor of Double Bridge City," Miss Fortune pointed out. 0

"How so?" 0

"The Dawn Empire is the largest nation in the Eternal Sphere, a hegemon, and it’s also a founding nation of both the Eternity Alliance and the Force Alliance." 0

"What do you mean?" 0

Miss Fortune gave a thumbs up. "I like your plan." 0

Cui Ming was already familiar with Miss Fortune's temperament and knew she wouldn’t refuse. There are risks involved; even the Emperor of Shuangqiao Town has robbed before. In life, one should pursue fairness and equality; just because someone holds a high status doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be robbed. Besides, this is just borrowing... 0

There was still one last question: who would steer the boat? 0

That wasn’t a problem either; Miss Fortune had a license. Cui Ming looked at her license and thought to himself, I believe you have a coastal license, but do you have an open sea license? It didn’t matter; anyway, Cui Ming didn’t want to be stuffed into the cabin like cargo for a week, dealing with all bodily needs. His experiences in the desert taught him that when conditions allow, one should treat oneself better. With someone steering the boat, there would be space to move around, food and drink available—everything would be fine. 0

What? Miss Fortune hadn’t expected to be the only one who could drive? That was okay; she would find out after they set sail. After getting to know her for a few days, Cui Ming realized that Miss Fortune was a very smart woman but also quite straightforward. To put it simply, she was an academic overachiever; no problem could stump her, yet she could never score full marks because she always made careless mistakes at crucial moments. For instance, forgetting to write her name or neglecting to label her solutions in application problems. 0

The boat set sail smoothly and had been traveling for five hours when Miss Fortune suddenly felt the urge to relieve herself but realized there was no backup captain. She panicked; reaching Silent City would take five or six days of continuous sailing. The wind and Cui Ming shrugged innocently in front of her: "I can’t." 0

So Miss Fortune held back her urge while explaining the most basic driving techniques. Driving a yacht was similar to driving a car, but the problem was that neither of the two men in front of her even knew how to drive... When Cui Ming turned the wheel, he nearly capsized the yacht. 0

She stopped the boat and warned the two men not to move before heading off to handle her physiological needs. Upon returning to her position and preparing to teach them how to steer, she found that both had gone swimming and showed no interest in learning. 0

At eleven o'clock the next morning, a Patrol Warship appeared, chasing them down and demanding they stop. Miss Fortune halted the boat; since they were already robbing, they might as well prepare for some trouble. As the warship approached within a hundred meters, a figure leaped from it and lunged toward their yacht. 0

A practitioner wielding a rocket launcher launched himself toward their vessel at high speed. 0

“Jinjin?” Cui Ming asked, uncertain. One should never guess a woman's identity based on her hairstyle or clothing, as it can change at any moment. 0

The newcomer was indeed Jinjin. She had planned to take a yacht for vacation and had loaded several personal items onto it, only to be robbed. The audacity of the thief infuriated Jinjin, who considered herself the ancestor of all criminals. Thus, she boarded a warship and used the Buoy radar to track down the yacht. Upon spotting it, without clearly seeing the robber, she lunged toward the yacht. 0

Cui Ming raised her hand to draw a card for catching thieves. It was said that the success rate for catching thieves with this method had significantly increased, nearly reaching 90%. Cui Ming knew this was due to her categorization of Card Play. When mixed together, the chances of drawing a divine card were low, but still possible. However, once separated into three colors, the probability of drawing a divine card drastically decreased. After further categorizing Card Play into victory cards and enemy cards, while the chance of drawing ordinary target cards increased, the likelihood of encountering a divine card approached zero. Throughout this time, in practical combat and training, along with some idle card drawing, she had only drawn ‘Flawless’ once. 0

Jinjin soared seventeen meters into the air and thought something looked familiar. A Yellow Card was set, and a figure plunged into the sea. 0

The wind leaped onto the deck railing as Katana was drawn and slashed downwards, sending a blade of wind slicing through the ocean like a cake, blocking Jinjin. Cui Ming shouted, “Calm down, calm down.” 0

From Cui Ming's perspective, facing three opponents meant Jinjin would surely lose; after all, they were in the wrong for stealing first. It was only reasonable to borrow this yacht. Indeed, as Cui Ming anticipated, it was unexpected for three skilled practitioners to attempt to seize the boat. If they wanted it, they could have simply asked; did they really need to resort to theft when they had the privilege to commandeer any vehicle? 0

However, Cui Ming overlooked Miss Fortune. 0

Earlier, Miss Fortune had been laughing at the spectacle. When Jinjin fell into the water and her face became clear to see, without hesitation she jumped from the yacht and opened fire with dual pistols. Jinjin, undeterred despite being immobilized, activated her powers without issue; shells fired from her rocket launcher towards Miss Fortune. 0

After taking two hits from Jinjin, Miss Fortune fell into the water and continued shooting. Both women were Archers equipped with gear from Master Nan, and as they exchanged fire it quickly turned fierce; both sustained injuries within five seconds. The rocket launcher in Jinjin's hands transformed into a machine gun as bullets rained down in a flurry. Each shot fired by Miss Fortune not only caused vibrations in Jinjin, but also pushed her back. 0

Meanwhile, what about the two men on board? Upon seeing the impending fight, Cui Ming immediately dashed toward the captain's cabin to start the engine. Following several steps taught by Miss Fortune, she aimed not to blow up the boat. The wind rushed toward the warship as it opened fire; three machine guns on its side began spraying bullets at the yacht. The wind raised a Wind Wall to block the bullets before charging toward the warship. 0

The two women sensed danger; if this continued, one would die quickly while another would be gravely injured. At that moment, they either had to grit their teeth and fight for their lives or ask themselves: where had their backup gone? (To be continued.) 0
