The person referred to as Fish Meat is only called that due to a lack of strength, not intelligence. The Ding Family faced off against the Fish Team and nearly suffered a setback. This Fish Team's strength was quite average, yet they employed a strategy never seen before.
Previously, everyone used their money to arm themselves, strengthen their Defense Towers, and send out enhanced soldiers. However, this Fish Team spent all their early funds on scouting wards. Shortly after the game began, two players dedicated to roaming completed their tasks and filled every fog point with scouting wards. Every move of the Ding Family was completely monitored by the opponent.
Ding Nuo was surrounded and killed by five players, while Vlad was also surrounded by four and severely injured while trying to escape. In contrast, the Ding Family had no understanding of the opponent's movements; they noticed that some opponents had disappeared from a certain lane and became alert but had no idea whether they returned to the Main Base to purchase items or went elsewhere. As a result, the opposing team of four launched a surprise attack, killing Ding Nuo again. They caught Ding Tai in the wild area, resulting in a one-for-one exchange.
At this point, Vlad stepped up to take command, abandoning three lanes and allowing the opponent to destroy towers. He led his team into the jungle, using vision potions to locate and remove all scouting wards before spending their last bit of money on more wards. The Five-Man Team from the Ding Family was forced into a corner; with the opponent's equipment being stronger and having already reached their doorstep, they could only muster their strongest efforts under Vlad's command. They engaged in battle right at their own doorstep and managed to kill one opponent by chance, immediately reviving Ding Nuo with the money earned. Following that was a four versus five team fight. Although the Fish Team still held an advantage, their experience and coordination were inferior to that of the Ding Family. They lost another member to the Ding Family and revived Ding Tai.
Then it became five versus five. Supported by equipment, the Fish Team's strength was not inferior to that of the Ding Family; however, their captain panicked and disregarded his teammates' advice against engaging in a decisive battle with the Ding Family. Instead, he hesitated during team fights and missed opportunities. In this round, three members of Fish Meat were killed while none from the Ding Family fell. Although this stabilized the situation for the Ding Family, they exerted all their efforts over the next half hour, showcasing all their skills. The audience watched with great interest; there was so much talent within the Ding Family—each of these five individuals was a master in their own right.
"Strong—almost absurdly so," Li Qing remarked. Ding Wen had a set of knife techniques that left opponents defenseless against him. He could shake an opponent's Force from start to finish until he completed his knife technique. In one-on-one encounters, Magic System users found themselves caught with almost no chance of survival; even Beiyue would lose half his health after facing his knife techniques.
Everyone knew about Ding Nuo; his weapon was an axe crafted by Master Nan—not an exceptional piece but certainly high quality coming from Master Nan's hands. The strongest aspect of Ding Nuo's axe was its ability to cause prolonged bleeding when it struck an opponent. Healing through Force was incredibly slow; once an opponent began bleeding under his assault and fell below 30% Life Stone health, Ding Nuo could activate his mark and instantly appear before them within fifty meters to deliver a fatal blow that ignored Force protection—essentially cleaving through an ordinary person’s defenses. It could be said that no one could survive this attack unscathed.
However, he did have weaknesses; Ding Nuo wasn't particularly agile or fast. His method of controlling enemies involved drawing them close like Big Guy or Warden but at a much shorter distance—if one maintained distance from him, he couldn't exert his influence effectively. Of course, in chaotic battles, one had to be wary of Ding Nuo.
Ding Lan was a newcomer—unnoticed until recently—who had just passed her Assessment Match; she was a beautiful woman. During matches, it became clear that the Ding Family intended for her to be a hidden piece on the board; unfortunately, circumstances forced her hand. On the battlefield, she could be described as elusive—one moment she might be a hundred meters away from you and suddenly appear just twenty meters in front of you. She was a practitioner of Magic System with impressive magical output. When you relied on your strength to confront her as she approached you closely for retaliation, she would suddenly vanish.
She had several methods for disappearing: one involved returning to where she had teleported from; another created four copies of herself—only one being real—and if you chased after the wrong one, she would escape easily or even counterattack you again.
Ding Tai was a standard assassin—a powerful one who could vanish in an instant on the battlefield. When he reappeared, any hidden throwing knife traps would activate and return swiftly to him; anyone caught in flight would suffer damage. But that wasn't even his most formidable skill—his signature move involved slitting throats—a classic rogue technique—but for Ding Tai it meant he could instantly appear behind you within thirty meters and cut your throat. Even with Force protection in place, it would still be fatal; your body would suffer severe damage requiring significant Force for healing—all assuming you thought Ding Tai would grant you time to recover.
Ding Ze remarked: "The Ding Family has weaknesses too; both Ding Lan and Ding Tai are quite vulnerable—they share a common trait: after executing various lethal strikes or using duplicates or similar states, they quickly enter a weakened state requiring meditation to regain their strength."
Beiyue responded: "Weaknesses don't matter; after finishing their moves, Ding Tai can use throwing knife traps to become invisible while setting up traps around him. And as for Ding Lan—her four copies make it hard to distinguish between real and fake; if you chase one down you'll inevitably let three escape."
Ding Ze replied: "Beiyue, don't forget we have Li Qing and Cui Ming—we're least afraid of duplicates or invisibility tactics. War changes rapidly; even if we can counter duplicates or invisibility tactics we still need opportunities provided by our opponents. When it comes down to actual combat, victory is uncertain."
Cui Ming shook his head in response: "Against the Ding Family? We have them covered."

"We can give up some Arrow Towers on the three routes, even the benefits from the jungle; our priority is to take down Vlad first. In this match, Ding Nuo was in command at first, but when the situation collapsed, Vlad helplessly stepped up to lead. Vlad is a Blood Mage, very tough, theoretically impossible to kill. However, as long as I team up with Mi Xiaonan or Ding Ze, taking him down should be quite simple. Also, look at Ding Tai; he seems to be overextending. Li Qing thought for a moment and nodded. "They have a critical weakness: they lack high-mobility personnel. Ding Nuo, Vlad, and Ding Wen are all slow. "Okay." Ye Xin nodded and went off to make contact. About five minutes later, he returned with a report: "Head of the family, they have been invited."
"Who?" Ye Wen asked.
"Cui Ming," Ye Xin replied.
Ye Wen looked at Ye Xin with dissatisfaction and questioned back: "Cui Ming?" The implication was clear—why should Cui Ming compete with him for guests?
Ye Xin answered, "I heard that Wandering will accompany them for dinner tonight."
"Oh, I see." Ye Wen then asked, "Are they familiar with Wandering?"
Yellen interjected: "It's not about familiarity. Fourth brother, if needed, Cui Ming could invite a deity to dinner."
"Oh? He has that capability?" Ye Wen asked in surprise.
Yellen replied, "No, he has the ability to make others believe he can invite a deity to dinner."
"Do you admire him?" Ye Wen asked.
"I dislike competing with the North Moon Group the most among all the teams," Yellen replied.
"Why is that?"
"The Fire Sect, when fighting against Silent City, even if we lose, we can still maintain some dignity. Against the Ding Family, we have a good chance of winning, but there's also a possibility of being overturned. Regardless of winning or losing, I am confident we won't lose face for the Ye Family. However, if we face the North Moon Group, they seem obscure; only Li Qing and Beiyue have some reputation, while Ding Ze has long been forgotten. If we lose, it would be hard to explain. Moreover, losing to the North Moon Group feels particularly painful; you don't showcase your strength or abilities and suddenly find yourself defeated, possibly in a baffling manner."
Ye Wen shook his head, unable to comprehend. "Nonsense."
Ye Xin interjected, "Head of the family, I completely agree with Yellen. I would rather face the Fire Sect than the North Moon Group. The Fire Sect may lose a battle but not their people.
