Cui Ming, Beiyue, and Ding Ze approached Li Qing. Cui Ming said, "Based on our analysis of the situation, Mi Xiaonan has the least chance. He is the only one who hasn't expelled Dark Force. Mi Xiaonan, do you agree?" 0

"But... I agree." Mi Xiaonan didn't want to argue; it was the truth—he was the only one who had gone in alone. 0

"Mi Xiaomo should have had the best chance, but he got knocked away by Mi Xiaobo. Mi Xiaobo and Mi Xiaolu have similar chances, while Mi Xiaona deliberately knocked Weir away, which must be criticized." Cui Ming took out a deck of Poker cards and said, "According to the chances, I give Mi Xiaomo three twos, Mi Xiaobo two threes, Mi Xiaolu two fours, Mi Xiaona one five, and Mi Xiaonan one six. The number represents your chances of catching Weir. I suggest you draw a card; whoever draws the number gets Weir." 0

Li Qing added, "There are two other methods: one is to compete in a duel; whoever wins gets it. The other is to form a circle; we count to three, and you see who is faster." 0

Mi Xiaobo looked at the Poker cards spread out in Cui Ming's hand and asked, "If I draw a three from these cards, does that mean Weir belongs to me?" 0

"Yes," Cui Ming replied. "Based on probability analysis, Mi Xiaomo has the highest chance at 33%. Mi Xiaobo and Mi Xiaolu have slightly over 20% each, while Mi Xiaonan and Mi Xiaona have the least chance at just over 10%. I'm currently choosing a method that everyone agrees on; if even one person disagrees, we won't play this game. But I remind you all that if this happens, there may be internal disputes among you, and some might even resort to fighting. In that case, if you manage to catch Weir, it might not be very honorable." 0

Mi Xiaonan objected, "I've always had bad luck; there's no way it's me with just 10%." 0

Little brother, whether it's you or not is up to my Boss; it has nothing to do with luck. Cui Ming said seriously, "Mi Xiaonan, this is the fairest judgment based on the current situation. You are indeed the injured party. It's true that among us, you've dealt the most damage to Weir and have the greatest contribution. But do you admit that given the current situation, your chance of catching Weir is indeed the smallest?" 0

After thinking for a moment, Mi Xiaonan reluctantly said, "Fine." 0

Everyone looked at each other and had no objections. Mi Xiaobo asked, "Who will draw?" 0

Cui Ming spread several cards in a fan shape with his left hand. "You all play rock-paper-scissors and choose someone to draw." 0

Li Qing sensed something was off. When Cui Ming placed the cards in his left hand, he switched them for a stack of nine cards. Li Qing, being the most experienced, knew that Beiyue's choice was correct. Mi Xiaona was good, but she was too aggressive; her leading a demolition had put Beiyue Agency in a difficult position. Mi Xiaobo was similar to Mi Xiaona but even more impatient. Mi Xiaolu had impressive spells, but like Ding Ze and Cui Ming, she needed protection, and there weren't enough people to go around, so she was eliminated. The remaining option, Mi Xiaomo, was decent; she could run fast, defend herself, and even turn invisible. However, compared to Mi Xiaonan, she still fell short. Most importantly, she drew attention; Weir seemed indifferent to everyone but would grit his teeth at the sight of Mi Xiaomo. There was no way around it—stealth, ambushes, and poisoned arrows made her quite unpopular. 0

As for Mi Xiaonan, her tactical awareness and various attack methods were perfectly coordinated. She was someone who could potentially take on two or more opponents at once. Understanding when to advance and retreat meant there was no need to worry about her too much. 0

The outcome of rock-paper-scissors was that Mi Xiaolu emerged victorious. Cautiously, she approached to draw a card, pressing it against her chest without daring to look. As everyone turned their attention to her, Cui Ming switched the cards back and said, "How about I reveal it?" 0

"I'll do it," Mi Xiaolu said as she grasped the card with both hands, silently praying and completely unaware that Cui Ming had cheated. Under everyone's watchful eyes, she flipped the card over—it was a six without any suspense. 0

Everyone stared blankly for a moment before Mi Xiaonan raised her small hand and exclaimed excitedly, "Oh my, it's mine!" 0

Disappointed, Mi Xiaolu tossed the card away and squatted on the ground; the others looked equally disheartened. It became evident that Yorkians had many virtues; at least they wouldn't argue but accepted the reality of the situation. Mi Xiaona pulled out a pair of small handcuffs and tossed them to Mi Xiaonan. These handcuffs were crafted from Force Stone and were unique to Mi Xiaona. Although she lost, Mi Xiaona graciously lent them to Mi Xiaonan. Once the outcome was decided, they would unite to escort Weir back to York Clan since delivering Weir was a matter for York Clan. 0

"Alright," Cui Ming clapped his hands. "This matter is settled; four out of five contracts are voided. Mi Xiaonan, if you truly don't wish to fulfill your end, that's fine—we can understand your difficulties." With that, Cui Ming used a lighter to burn all five contracts. 0

Mi Xiaonan felt deeply moved. "Brother Cui, I will definitely return; my word is my bond." 0

Hehe! In front of the other four little ones from the Mi family, whether I burned the contracts made no difference. Burning them could instead buy your loyalty—why not? 0

Mi Xiaobo clearly appeared the most mature as he approached Beiyue Agency's people for a handshake. "On behalf of York Clan, I express our gratitude for Beiyue Agency's assistance. We will take our leave now and welcome everyone to visit York Clan." Helping capture those targeted by the Elder Council allowed him to represent York Clan. 0

"Certainly," Cui Ming replied politely. 0

Everyone watched as Wu Mi left. Ding Ze said, "Strictly speaking, without Cui Ming's help, they might not have been able to catch anyone. Cui Ming just took advantage of the situation, but provided the most crucial assistance in their success." 0

Cui Ming nodded. "That's what I think too." 0

Beiyue didn't know what to say and simply added, "We should get going. Evelyn will definitely freak out seeing Lincoln Manor torn to pieces." 0

Let's go, let's go. Everyone headed towards the car. Beiyue lagged a step behind and said to Cui Ming, "Thank you." 0

"I'm doing it for myself too." Among the confirmed team members, Ding Ze hardly cared about anything else; only for Cui Ming did he put in so much effort for Beiyue Team. Now that he had tricked Mi Xiaonan into joining, Li Qing was also firmly in Cui Ming's grasp. Beiyue's gratitude was a recognition of this; Cui Ming had done far more than expected. He humbly replied that he wanted to join Force Alliance, which was why he was working so hard. 0

Beiyue felt a mix of emotions. It had taken her two years to find one team member in Ding Ze, who was gifted to her by his fiancée. Yet, within just a few months of Cui Ming's arrival, they had recruited two skilled individuals. She realized her previous disdain for Cui Ming had been excessive. Beiyue glanced at Cui Ming and felt another sensation—he seemed to be trying too hard... Could it be true what Evelyn said, that Cui Ming had ulterior motives? If so, she needed to find an opportunity to gently clarify that she wouldn't consider any romantic feelings until her parents' issues were resolved. She didn't want to lead him on and create an awkward situation later. But what if that wasn't the case? Wouldn't that make things even more awkward for her? 0
