Cui Ming was puzzled. "Who exactly are you?" 0

"Hmph." The female officer felt that introducing herself was rather unconvincing, so she didn't answer. "I'm here today to teach you a lesson about how to behave. Don't speak carelessly." 0

Cui Ming, not one to shy away from questions, asked, "Sister, did I say something that upset you?" 0

The female officer looked at Cui Ming's confused expression and replied, "You said I have a bottom line but no limits." 0

"..." Cui Ming thought for a long moment before forcing a smile. "There are plenty of people in this world without bottom lines or limits. Can you give me another hint?" 0

The female officer slammed her fist down on the stone table, shattering it into pieces, then turned to look at Cui Ming. Quick as lightning, Cui Ming reached out to catch the wine that was about to spill, cradling it carefully with both hands. "Sister, I don't understand this hint." 0

The female officer seemed quite surprised. "You're quick with your hands?" 0

"Just trying to make a living." 0

"My name is Zhao Wei." The female officer finally couldn't hold back and introduced herself. 0

Cui Ming was taken aback. "Zhao Wei? The Zhao Wei from Dawnmoon City?" 0

"Yes." 0

"I... don't think I know you." 0

"Weren't you the one who said I have a bottom line but no limits at the hotel?" Zhao Wei looked at Cui Ming. "Don't be surprised; the waitress at the hotel is one of my people. She relayed that message to me. If it were an ordinary person, I would let it go, but since you're a practitioner and insist on causing trouble, I can only oblige." 0

Cui Ming countered, "Did I really say that?" 0

"You said it." 0

"I didn't," Cui Ming replied seriously. Just as Zhao Wei was about to speak, Cui Ming took off running, throwing a Poker card straight at Zhao Wei. 0

Zhao Wei calmly finished his drink, remaining still to gather his strength. The shockwave expanded, shooting towards Cui Ming like an arrow. A yellow card flew from Cui Ming's hand—Card Play—locking onto Zhao Wei. Zhao Wei's eyes narrowed; a VI symbol appeared on Cui Ming's body, and the effect of Card Play ended. Although Zhao Wei couldn't see Cui Ming anymore, he had already marked him, and there was no way Cui Ming could escape as he pursued him relentlessly. 0

When he closed in to within twenty meters, Zhao Wei stopped to gather his strength. His body swelled rapidly with Force before he charged forward. Cui Ming could only exclaim in shock before being struck by a powerful punch that sent him reeling. Zhao Wei took another step forward, bringing his right fist down hard on Cui Ming, knocking him to the ground. "This is a lesson for you: before discussing others, first check if you have the qualifications to do so." 0

Cui Ming rolled to avoid another strike aimed at the ground, but Zhao Wei's left hook quickly followed, landing squarely in Cui Ming's abdomen. To Cui Ming's surprise, he felt he should have been sent flying instead. The force was strange; it felt as if it had penetrated his body rather than striking against the protection of Force. After practicing Six Elements, it was the first time Cui Ming felt the internal shockwaves, and he spat out a mouthful of blood. "Beiyue, come see this; even cultivators can spit blood." 0

Zhao Wei stretched out his arms confidently, fists colliding with a metallic clang as he slowly approached Cui Ming. "Wait," Cui Ming gasped urgently. "I have something to say." 0

"I'm not planning to kill you," Zhao Wei said, stepping on Cui Ming's chest and leaning down with a conquering expression. "As long as you kneel and admit your mistakes, then slap yourself ten times, we can call it even." 0

"Sister, I'm still a man! Is it too much to ask for me to kneel and slap myself while you're stepping on me?" Cui Ming panted. "After all, we're both practitioners; you're part of a Gang and I'm with the Thieves Guild. Can't we show each other some respect?" 0

Zhao Wei scoffed derisively, her face just twenty centimeters from Cui Ming's. "Men are so weak these days; what do you need pride for?" 0

"Sister, there's a reason for human evolution. In the age of brute force, men needed strength. But in this era, men must possess wisdom," Cui Ming replied. 0

"Ha! Wisdom." Zhao Wei removed her foot and grabbed Cui Ming by the collar, pulling him closer with a smirk. "A wise man should use his cleverness to make me stop hitting you." 0

Cui Ming forced a smile. "Sister, I actually knew you'd come over tonight." 0

"Well, I believe that shows some wisdom. And then?" 0

"I knew someone would be watching us," Cui Ming continued. "So I had to leave alone." 0

"Okay... and then?" 0

"Sister, haven't you figured it out yet? Why did I have to leave alone?" Cui Ming asked with a smile. "Because I know I'm a novice; if I left with someone else, you wouldn't show up. Now here's the question: how did I come to this conclusion?" 0

Zhao Wei frowned, pondering for a moment before asking, "Why?" 0

Cui Ming replied, "Because I know you are Zhao Wei. Now, another question arises: why am I pretending not to recognize you? Why am I talking so much to you? Why am I allowing you to hit me? Why do I know you are Zhao Wei and still face you directly?" 0

"Why?" 0

"Because this is the power of wisdom, something people from your Gang system cannot comprehend." Cui Ming remained calm under the pressure of Zhao Wei's dominance. "Step one: please enter the trap. You must be very angry that I didn't attend the meeting last night. But you know your position is weak, so I had to send my companions away for you to show yourself. And indeed, here you are. To be honest, I wasn't sure if you'd come personally. Step two: closing the door to catch the thief. I considered two possibilities: the first is that you're just a lackey, which would make it easy for me to defeat you. The second possibility is that you are Zhao Wei. To be frank, if I had known you'd strike so fiercely, I definitely wouldn't have followed." 0

Zhao Wei still didn't understand. "So what if you know? You have no power to resist." 0

"Sister, can you think for a moment? After realizing you're Zhao Wei, who do you think my greatest ally is?" Cui Ming said with a hint of exasperation. 0

Zhao Wei thought for a while and asked, "Could it be Evelyn?" 0

"Bingo! You finally got it right. Staring at my friend is pointless because there's another one of your nemeses." Cui Ming posed another question: "Now there's another question: why am I running away? Why am I fleeing to the other side of the Highway?" 0

Zhao Wei finally understood. "It's a trap. Evelyn has been nearby; she followed you and set up a snare. You led me right into its path." Once caught in the snare, escape would be nearly impossible; it meant being locked onto by Evelyn's position. Moreover, Cui Ming had backup—those allies wouldn't act for legal reasons but would certainly act for their friends. 0

A hundred meters away, in the Field position, Evelyn stood up, slowly approaching with a long gun in hand. Zhao Wei pushed Cui Ming away and stood firm, saying, "Evelyn, go ahead and shoot." A headshot would be extremely painful and severely injurious; Zhao Wei knew this well. But compared to being tracked by a snare, what was this pain worth? 0

Evelyn said nothing as she walked closer until she stood thirty meters away. She aimed her gun and declared, "Zhao Wei, you can't escape. You won't outrun my net; once caught in the snare, it's guaranteed within a hundred meters." 0
