Ding Ze unleashed another bolt of energy, but the monster remained unchanged. With a sense of comfort, Ding Ze sent out streaks of energy lightning, knocking away two liang of stones with each strike. One day, he would reduce it to dust. However, he did not expect the monster to be quite intelligent. It launched an unexpected charge, unstoppable as it closed in on Ding Ze. Realizing the danger, Ding Ze shouted in alarm; activating his teleportation required preparation time, and he wasn't ready yet. Under the shockwave, he and the stones within a fifteen-meter radius were thrown up ten meters high. The monster raised its massive fist, waiting for Ding Ze to fall. At that moment, Li Qing arrived like a flash, kicking Ding Ze away twenty meters into the air.
Seeing the monster ambushing Ding Ze, Cui Ming stood panting. Consuming Force was one thing; the key issue was exhausting physical strength. Running so many laps with his small frame was quite taxing. Animals were unreasonable in this regard; humans had limits to the amount of Force they could endure, but animals had much higher thresholds. Beiyue understood what Li Qing intended and started to leave when Li Qing shouted, "Hey, look at me!" He had never done anything like this in his life; relieving himself anywhere was one thing, but now he had to ask someone to watch.
The monster indeed showed intelligence and glanced back at them in surprise. In a panic, it abandoned Cui Ming and charged toward Li Qing. Li Qing took off running; this time the monster seemed more cautious and stayed by the pond without advancing further. In a hoarse voice, it asked, "Why do you disturb me?"
"Can you talk?" Everyone was taken aback; this meant the creature was not merely a beast but a practitioner.
The monster looked at them all: "I was summoned to this world by chaotic magic; I only wish to find a quiet place to rest. Why must you humans disturb me?"
Cui Ming cautiously asked, "What is your name?"
"I am called Mote."
Cui Ming nodded and explained, "I didn't know this water belonged to you, Mote. I truly didn't mean any offense; besides, you never mentioned that this water was yours."
"I painted my domain; you invaded my territory," Mote replied assertively.
"Domain?" Cui Ming leaned forward to look around. "Where is it?"
Mote pointed with its foot at a small stone by the pond and answered, "That."
Come on now, let's be reasonable! There were countless small stones around here. Cui Ming said, "Mote, since this is just a misunderstanding, why don't we let it go?"
"Sorry, I was entrusted to eliminate the beasts on this road..."
"The beasts. My Boss said we need to get rid of the beasts on this road," Cui Ming interrupted Beiyue. "Sister, let's see if the four of us can handle it first." Cui Ming continued, "Here's the deal: we have a group of several hundred people passing through here, and we came to scout first. Mo Ge, you know that the four of us are the worst fighters. Behind us are hundreds of regular troops; if it comes to a fight, you would definitely be at a disadvantage, right?"
Mote looked at Cui Ming for a moment and shook his head. "I don't trust you; let her speak."
"Why?" Cui Ming asked angrily, feeling insulted.
Mote replied seriously, "Because I sense deceit in your aura. On our planet, those who carry such an aura are usually executed."

Beiyue said, "If you don't harm anyone, we can allow your presence and won't disturb you."
Cui Ming added, "Since you're from another place, you probably don't know our Eternal Sphere has an old saying: 'Those not of our kind must have different hearts.' Once outsiders learn of your existence, they will capture you and put you in a cage for everyone to see. Don't doubt it; let me show you a photo of our regular troops behind us."
Mote shook his head. "Mote won't talk to you." He turned to Beiyue.
Beiyue explained, "Many in the Eternal Sphere are ordinary people, but there are indeed many with powers like ours. If you harm humanity, you will definitely be eliminated."
Mote stated, "I won't attack anyone unless they invade my bathing area."
Cui Ming asked, "Do you think there's still a place to bathe?"
Mote became furious, slamming his fist against a nearby rock and shouted, "I'm not talking to you!"
At that moment, Li Qing spoke up: "Since that's the case, we're neither enemies nor friends. If there was a misunderstanding before, why not do this? Let's be hosts and share a drink together; let's clear any grudges."
"What does being hosts mean?" Mote asked.
"I'll treat you to a drink."
"No drinking, there's no order after drinking."
"What about food?" Li Qing asked.
"I can eat rocks."
Cui Ming curiously asked, "Then what do you excrete? Don't be angry, I know you won't talk to me. Our camp is over there."
Li Qing treated Mote equally: "This way, please."
Mote really went, and the three of them followed behind Beiyue. Cui Ming whispered, "Boss, weren't you planning to trick this stone person into helping the caravan clear a path for twenty-five kilometers ahead?"
Beiyue was slightly surprised: "You lied just to make him work?"
"Yes, look at his strength and size; it would be easy for him to clear a path." Cui Ming boasted, "We could easily take you down. As long as you help us clear a path, we'll allow you to live here. Everyone sat down at the camp, and Mote first looked into the pot before introducing his situation. Mote lived on a very harmonious planet where the higher beings, much like humans on Earth in Eternity, were fully aware of their identities and diligently fulfilled their responsibilities. They lived communally like bees, all striving to contribute their potential to build their home, never comparing or complaining.
One day, Mote was summoned to the Critical Zone of the Eternal Sphere. The Critical Zone was a large island in the vast sea between the Western Continent and Eastern Continent, a place facing collapse due to excessive use of magic. In the end, Mote could not save the Critical Zone; it collapsed and sank into the sea. Due to his unique physical structure, after enduring storms, he drifted on a boat to the Eastern Continent. Coincidentally, a volcanic eruption occurred between Dawn City and Dawnmoon City, creating geographical features that Mote loved most; he settled down here.
In this area, aside from loneliness, there was no other difference from his planet.
