In the desolate wilderness of Rado City, Jack and his dogs carefully explore every inch of the land. When they come to a building that has been broken in half, Ah Mao suddenly lets out a low growl, as if indicating to Jack that there may be other life present. This warning instantly makes Jack extra alert, his heart racing, and a tense atmosphere quickly spreads through the air.
The dogs also sense their owner's tension, and they begin to sniff around the entrance of the building, their ears perked up and their eyes watchful. Jack gently pats Ah Mao's head, signaling for it to stay quiet, and then slowly pulls out his pocket Swiss knife, ready to face any potential danger.
They entered the building silently, and the scene inside was terrifying - cracks covered the ceiling and walls, and the floor was littered with debris and dust, showing the devastating impact of the disaster on the building. Jack moved forward, keeping an eye on the surroundings, trying to investigate who this unknown "other" was - whether they were other survivors or some kind of dangerous mutant creature.
The air was filled with oppression and unease, every step filled with unknown and potential threats. Jack tried to keep calm, but the panic and tension within continued to rise. In this City of the End Times, every exploration could be a matter of life and death, and Jack had to be ready to face the challenge at any time, protecting himself and his loyal companions.
As Jack continued to cautiously venture deeper into the building, a faint sound suddenly broke the silence, shattering the stillness. Jack's heart raced as he stopped in his tracks, trying to identify the source of the sound. It could be the clue he was looking for to find "others," or it could be the beginning of a new danger.
As the footsteps drew closer, Jack sensed imminent danger. He quickly found a concealed spot to hide, choosing a reception desk that had been used in the past. Jack deftly slid under the table, concealing himself as much as possible. His heart raced as he nervously awaited the unknown. At the same time, Ah Mao and the other dogs also seemed to sense the danger. Without hesitation, they swiftly ran outside, seeking refuge in the steel jungle surrounded by ruins, minimizing their presence as much as possible.
In this tense atmosphere, a sharp female voice suddenly pierced through the air with a hint of dissatisfaction and confusion, "Damn it? Was that a dog barking just now?" This voice made Jack's heart skip a beat, and he nervously tightened his grip on the Swiss army knife in his hand, ready to face a possible conflict.
The owner of the female voice clearly conducted a careful search of the surrounding environment. Her footsteps lingered near Jack's hiding place, seemingly searching for the source of the abrupt dog barking. Jack held his breath, trying to suppress his own breath as low as possible. As soon as the words fell, a loud slap suddenly burst in the air, apparently expressing Vivian's extreme dissatisfaction with the man's disrespectful response. Vivian's voice then echoed loudly in the entire space, filled with anger and threat, "Damn it! I know, I just don't like those dogs! Shut your dog mouth." The name Vivian left a deep impression in Jack's mind; she was evidently the leader of this group, possessing the power to decide life and death. The words of the man who was slapped also revealed their wariness and hostility towards outsiders.
Jack took a deep breath, trying to calm his heartbeat. He knew that the most important thing now was to stay hidden until he was sure he wouldn't be discovered by this group of people.
