The equipment of the three was still able to withstand the assault. Moreover, hitting a target in motion was quite difficult, especially since those bandits were all restless and agitated.
Jason quickly maneuvered around to the back of the fortress under Reynold's cover, flanking Yu Tian and the other two. Yu Tian also used the private ships docked at the port as cover, slowly closing in on the enemy.
A shell exploded in the center of the fortress. It turned out that Jason had charged into the fire zone, using the Energy Storage Device as a bomb!
Although it didn’t kill many, it added another layer of pressure to the bandits. They were just a bunch of aimless thugs who couldn’t withstand provocation or incitement; they had no experience in formal combat. The only reason they had managed to hold out for so long was due to their initial excitement. At this moment, their mental defenses were shattered.
Surrender! Otherwise, you will die!
This was the thought of most of the bandits.
We can’t keep dragging this out; otherwise, we’ll be locked up even longer!
Another thought emerged.

All the bandits suddenly lost their will to fight.
Jason quickly assessed his results and realized that he had only taken down a few opponents. Aside from the ones he had knocked out directly, courtesy of Yu Tian and Reynold, the rest had surrendered. Just as he was about to fire a few shots at the surrendering ones, he saw their pitiful expressions and decided against it.
"Hey! Jason! How many did you take down?" Yu Tian asked, his mouth slightly agape as he stared at him.
Initially, Jason wanted to boast about his kills, but he swallowed his pride instead.
"I missed out! If I had been the one attacking upfront without retreating, my score would have been better!"
"Stop talking! The police are here. We should show them our military ID and let them handle the rest!" Reynold remained calm, having noticed the encroaching police officers.
"Put your hands up!"
A voice blared from an overhead speaker, accompanied by an image of a crouching criminal surrendering. Honestly, the government lacked creativity; that image was so ugly that many onlookers who were snacking ended up spitting out their food. Parents were teaching their children not to do bad things, or they would end up looking like that. It was said to be quite effective.
"Hey there! We're from the Anti-Riot Unit. We just happened to arrive in time; we won't take any credit!" Jason said earnestly as he handed over their military ID to the police officer holding a Laser Gun at the front.
"Oh! So you're from the Anti-Riot Unit. Thank you for your support; we'll take care of the rest! We will do our best to serve the people..." The officer smiled after glancing at their ID and then at the surrendering criminals behind them. He spoke each word clearly and confidently.
Jason turned away, making a disdainful expression; of course, the remaining work was easy—just cleaning up this trash. He shot a glare at one of the criminals who was looking his way, causing that criminal to tremble and turn away to avoid Jason's gaze. Jason really wanted to take a bite out of that guy, but Yu Tian and Reynold each grabbed one of his arms and led him down from the fortress.
After handing over their gear, they returned to the mall to continue selecting outfits.
Thanks to Jason's commotion, news of the incident spread across half the planet. It was truly astonishing how gossip traveled faster than radio waves.
As soon as they entered the main gate, the original attendant displayed an expression of great honor, leading the three of them to the most upscale area of the mall.
Moreover, the Boss of the mall made a surprising decision!
