When Jack approached the gas station, his heart was filled with nervousness and anticipation. Under the dusty sky, the surrounding environment seemed particularly dark and desolate. As he neared his destination, he couldn't help but quicken his pace, silently praying that the gas station still had enough fuel and that the equipment hadn't been damaged.
The strange howls coming from the distance made Jack feel uneasy. He wasn't sure what kind of creatures these sounds were coming from, or if they posed a threat to him. But at this moment, he didn't have time to delve into these unknown dangers. His only goal was to find gasoline and return to the supermarket as soon as possible.
Arriving at the gas station, Jack carefully observed the surroundings to ensure there was no immediate danger. His gaze swept over every corner of the gas station, searching for a usable fuel pump. Jack knew that if the gas station was still operational, his life at the supermarket would become more feasible.
He entered the gas station and found that many facilities were clearly damaged, but there were still several fuel pumps that appeared to be intact. Jack tried to operate the fuel pumps, hoping to extract gasoline from them. Every hum emitted by the fuel pumps made him feel more nervous, as he knew that every moment was extremely precious.
Around the gas station, Jack nervously searched for containers to hold gasoline. Luckily, he quickly found a few small gasoline drums in a corner. He quickly picked them up, checked to make sure they had no holes or cracks, and then began pouring the gasoline into the drums.
As he continued loading the gasoline, unsettling roars of wild beasts began to echo around him. These sounds seemed to be getting louder, even giving the feeling of approaching, causing Jack's heart to race. He realized he might be in danger.
Jack's movements became faster as he tried to stay alert and complete the task of loading gasoline as quickly as possible. He would occasionally stop and carefully listen to the sounds around him, trying to determine the source and distance of those ominous roaring noises.
As he loaded the gasoline, he constantly calculated in his mind how he should escape quickly if there was indeed any danger. He knew that his superpowers might help him deal with some dangers, but he also understood that when facing unknown beasts, the best strategy was to avoid direct confrontation.
After filling up with gasoline, Jack didn't linger and quickly picked up the full gas can, carefully preparing to return to the supermarket.
Jack tightly held two gas cans, ready to leave the gas station quickly, but suddenly his path was blocked by a wild dog. This wild dog looked completely different from a normal dog: its bones were abnormally large, as hard as metal, and its whole body showed strong mutant characteristics. Its eyes emitted an unusual red light, appearing full of wildness and hostility.
The wild dog snarled at Jack, baring its teeth and emitting a threatening growl, as if ready to attack at any moment. Jack felt a hint of fear, but he also realized that he couldn't show too much fear. He tried to stay calm while keeping a vigilant eye on every move of the wild dog.
In Jack's mind, he quickly planned his strategy. He knew that this wild dog might be a result of a mutation caused by nuclear radiation. The dog's body structure made it more dangerous and difficult to deal with than a regular dog. He attempted to find an escape route while preparing to use his superpowers to counter any potential attack.
Jack gently placed an oil drum down, trying not to provoke the wild dogs any further. His heart raced, feeling each second filled with tension and danger. He was ready to use his telekinesis to protect himself or subdue the mutated wild dog at any moment.
More wild dogs emerged from the side, quickly surrounding Jack. Threatened by the pack of wild dogs, Jack's anxiety spiked. The wild dogs emitted a sense of savagery and danger, making Jack acutely aware of the threat. These mutated dogs were not only numerous, but each one was much larger than a regular dog, their eyes shining with an unusual red glow beneath the yellow dust, as if ready to attack at any moment.
Among this group of wild dogs, there is one that stands out. This wild dog is much larger in size compared to the others, and its appearance closely resembles a Dobermann, but its muscles and bone structure have clearly undergone severe mutation, making it look even stronger and more ferocious. This mutated Dobermann moves slowly within the pack of dogs, and all the wild dogs seem to be acting under its command. It is undoubtedly the leader of this group of wild dogs.
Jack quickly analyzes the situation. He knows that facing such a pack of dogs, any wrong move could lead to fatal consequences. He takes a deep breath, trying to stay calm, and his gaze is fixed on the mutated Dobermann. Jack knows that he cannot easily use his superpowers; it would consume a lot of energy, and in this situation, it might not even be enough to deal with so many wild dogs. He must come up with a better escape plan.
He slowly placed the oil drum on the ground to avoid making too much noise and angering the wild dogs. His eyes were fixed on the wild dogs in front of him, trying to find an opportunity to escape. At that moment, his fingers lightly touched the oil drum, feeling the heat energy surging inside him, but he forcibly suppressed the impulse.
Jack quietly observed the movements of the wild dogs, searching for their behavior patterns and weaknesses. He knew that once he started to act, he would have to be quick and decisive. His heart was filled with tension and anxiety, but he also knew that only calmness and wit could help him escape from this dangerous situation.
