Nick Fury had been feeling quite exhausted lately. Out of nowhere, a monster threatening to destroy the moon had appeared, boasting about its plans to annihilate Earth. Fury couldn't help but wonder why these restless beings, possessing such power, didn't use it to protect the planet instead.
As one of the few who knew the truth about the universe, Director Fury was always on edge. Thankfully, he had steadfast allies supporting him, allowing him some moments of respite. Occasionally, he could even arrange to meet a few women for some fun.
However, recently this ally seemed to be going through a rough patch. Every time they spoke on the phone, he would hear bizarre comments like "impossible," "that person can't be here," and "wait, who messed with the timeline?"
"Ugh!" Yohou sighed as Nick Fury picked up his cold coffee, ready to take a sip when his phone suddenly vibrated beside him. Displeased, he set down the cup and answered the call. "What made you think of calling me? Did you run into something even Coulson can't handle?"
Contrary to external speculation, the higher-ups in America had almost tacitly accepted Chen Fan's existence. If anyone dared to target Chen Fan, they wouldn't face America's silence but rather an unreasonable and forceful retaliation.
The country that understood the truth of the world best was America. Not to mention the special ability criminals roaming within its borders, there were also those lurking outside or beyond the universe, watching Earth. They could never afford to abandon someone as valuable as Chen Fan.
At just ten years old, with SSS-level combat power, only a fool would let such talent slip away.
"Black Uncle, since I'm somewhat of an insider now, do you have any powerful artifacts or equipment?" Chen Fan asked while lounging in a rocking chair, his eyes filled with anticipation.
Hearing Chen Fan call him "Black Uncle," Fury's expression darkened further. He replied coolly, "What do you want?"
"I want a ton of Eidman Alloy!" Chen Fan blurted out without hesitation. Based on what he knew from the storyline, this was all S.H.I.E.L.D. could offer at this point.
He wouldn't dare ask for Infinity Stones or a Cosmic Cube; those would inevitably drag in a bunch of villainous trouble.
Fury's lips twitched as he realized where Chen Fan had heard about Eidman Alloy. A ton? This kid really had some nerve. "What do you need Eidman Alloy for?"
"To forge weapons—uh, I mean to create something cool!" Chen Fan quickly changed the subject and added in a mournful tone, "Black Uncle, look at all those superheroes with their fancy weapons! You armed that idiot Peter with all sorts of high-tech gear while I, your ace in S.H.I.E.L.D., have to buy my own phone! It's so unfair!"
Fury gritted his teeth. "Did I not give you a phone? Who was it that looked down on that piece of junk back then and tossed it aside?"
"Uh, did that happen? Heh heh!" Chen Fan scratched his head awkwardly. It wasn't his fault; S.H.I.E.L.D.'s phones were indeed subpar compared to the one Tony had gifted him.
Of course, Chen Fan would never admit that gift came after he charmed Pepper.
"Are you going to give me Eidman Alloy or not? If not, I'll just ask Uncle President!" Chen Fan was determined to arm himself; whether Black Director agreed or not, he was going to get his hands on that Eidman Alloy.
"Ah, I'm so exhausted," the director said helplessly. "I can't give you a ton; the most I can offer is a hundred kilograms. That's all the inventory S.H.I.E.L.D. has. If you're not satisfied, you can ask your uncle the president!"
"Alright! It's settled then!" Although Chen Fan didn't get a ton, he was still quite happy. A little bit here and there could still achieve his goal.
After hanging up the phone, a thoughtful expression appeared on Chen Fan's face. It was time to consider the design of the weapon.
Now that he had the materials, he needed to think carefully about what kind of weapon to create. This would be his signature item, just like Spider-Man's web, Captain America's shield, or Iron Man's armor...
If the weapon turned out to be too bizarre, it would be embarrassing for him!
"What is Chen Fan troubled about? Can I hear it?" While Chen Fan was deep in thought, Monster Teacher spoke up beside him, sitting in a nearly identical rocking chair.
"Oh! Koro-sensei, I'm considering designing a weapon. Do you have any suggestions?" Chen Fan turned his head slightly. This Monster Teacher was exceptionally knowledgeable in many areas, after all, he was once the King of Assassins.
"A weapon? Is it meant to kill me? If that's the case, I think the weapons provided by Teacher Wu Jian would be quite suitable!" Koro-sensei said, two cups of coffee appearing on his tentacles out of nowhere. He handed one to Chen Fan and leisurely sipped from his own.
Sigh, he really shouldn't expect this goofball to come up with anything useful...
"Huh? Isn't it meant to kill me?" Seeing Chen Fan's blank expression, Koro-sensei suddenly realized he had guessed wrong and awkwardly tried to recover. "Then what aspects is Chen Fan focusing on for the weapon design?"
"Attack? Defense? Mobility? Stealth? Or something more comprehensive?"
Chen Fan pondered for a moment as various weapon styles flashed through his mind: spear? Bow and arrow? Knife? Sword? Shield? Armor?
Shaking his head, none of these weapons seemed suitable for him to wield. To truly utilize his Godslayer physique, choosing the right weapon was crucial. Among all options, a bow and arrow matched best with Chen Fan's powers; combined with the power of thunder, it would indeed be the most fitting weapon for him.
However, there was an embarrassing issue: Chen Fan's accuracy at long range was a significant flaw. Setting aside his versatility, if he were to attack a target ten meters away with conventional weapons, his hit rate would be akin to winning the lottery.
"Koro-sensei, take me to America. I'll tell you the destination on the way; in return, I'll treat you to a delicious meal!" After thinking it over, Chen Fan realized he had overlooked an important question: if Eidman Alloy wasn't suitable for making his weapon, pondering further would be pointless.
First, he needed to test how well Eidman Alloy matched with his abilities.
"Oh my! Chen Fan is too polite!" Koro-sensei said with an embarrassed expression. "Make sure it's according to today's specifications!"
Having tasted corruption before, Koro-sensei quickly succumbed under Chen Fan's sweet talk and willingly took on the role of driver.
"Chen Fan, take your seat! Koro-sensei's express train is ready for takeoff!"
The students, who had long been focused on a certain spot, couldn't help but feel a wave of sarcasm as they watched the two chatting amiably.
"What on earth are those two talking about? Their strange expressions are really concerning!"
"Seriously! A human and a monster conversing so harmoniously—shouldn't we be making fun of this?"
"Heh! If you're going to make fun of them, you've already lost!"
"Hey! Look over there, those two are up to something. What are they doing? Is that a tentacle forming a backpack? Are they playing some weird magic trick?"
Just as the students were curious about what was happening, the voice of the Monster Teacher rang out.
"Students... I need to send Chen Fan to America for a bit. Don't you dare slack off while I'm gone! If I come back and find anyone slacking, today's homework will be tripled!"
As the students suppressed their exclamations, a fierce gust of wind swept across the playground. The girls quickly pressed down their skirts, glaring at the boys with flushed faces: "Perverts, disgusting, shameless, go die!"
The boys, wide-eyed and grinning, wondered if this counted as an unexpected benefit.
Koro-sensei, you've finally done something worthy of praise!
