Koro-sensei finally realized that the ant Chen Fan mentioned was none other than Terusaka, the one it had pleaded for.
"Uh, uh, uh... I believe many people would still choose to spare this ant!" Koro-sensei hurriedly said, though this statement felt somewhat insincere; it had no choice but to say so.
"Teacher, your words leave me in awe!" Chen Fan chuckled, glancing around. "With such thick skin, it's no wonder you can crush the moon!"
"Oh dear! Chen Fan's words truly hurt my feelings!" Koro-sensei no longer pleaded for Terusaka; in its view, Chen Fan had no intention of sparing the other party at all.
If it were the old self, it would probably have acted even more unreasonably! Koro-sensei thought for a moment and then unprincipledly gave up. What good would not giving up do?
"Chen Fan, it's almost noon. Would you like to join me for a meal?" Koro-sensei swayed its tentacles, unsure if it was excited or nervous.
"Sure, but if the dishes you recommend don't suit my taste, I might get very angry!" Chen Fan recalled the unfortunate experience at the restaurant yesterday. After all, since arriving in Island Nation, he hadn't had a proper taste of the local cuisine.
"I can guarantee that the food at that restaurant is absolutely fantastic, especially the Mapo Tofu; it's simply exquisite!" The octopus creature drooled as it spoke, splattering saliva on the grass.
"Then please take me to experience that restaurant!" Although Monster Teacher was quite unreliable, Chen Fan wouldn't doubt its taste in food. After all, before becoming what it was now, it had been an assassin.
Assassin = Foodie!
Chen Fan believed that this theory someone had told him couldn't be too far off.
"Alright! Then please keep your eyes wide open and appreciate what I take the most pride in!" Koro-sensei quickly extended one of its tentacles, which soon stretched to ten meters long and then curled into a basket shape to carry Chen Fan inside. "What I am most proud of is speed; Chen Fan, enjoy this zero Mach express train!"
With a loud roar that kicked up countless dust particles, Koro-sensei shot up like an arrow into the sky, reaching three thousand meters in height in less than a second.
Countries around the world detected Koro-sensei suddenly bursting out of Island Nation's waters and hastily dispatched military forces to intercept it. Various advanced weapons were prepared and ready to launch an attack as soon as the monster flew over the Pacific. However, before these orders could be communicated effectively, they were collectively blocked by government leaders from various nations.
The monster wasn't flying alone; satellites detected that behind it was a basket formed by a tentacle. Zooming in on the image revealed a familiar face squinting upward.
SSS-Class Thunder Emperor—whoever saw that face on screen couldn't help but exclaim internally!
"Damn it! Is this how we're playing? A giant monster taking a joyride with another monster? Who the hell would dare to stir up trouble? Attacking monsters is one thing, but if we provoke the Thunder Lord, who knows what kind of retaliation we might face from America."
"Hey? Isn't it strange that I'm not being attacked by missiles today? Could it be that everyone understands I'm not a dangerous creature, but rather a charming big handsome guy!" Koro-sensei muttered to himself.
Things weren't always this calm. In the past, if he left the waters of the Island Nation, he would have been bombarded by missiles. But today, perhaps his exit was just right!
After transforming into his current form, Koro-sensei's original personality began to shift. The usually serious atmosphere was often twisted into a comedic scene by his deliberate antics.
"Chen Fan, we've arrived at our destination!" Upon reaching Chao Shu Du, Koro-sensei chose a secluded park. After landing, he retracted his tentacles.
"We're here already!" Chen Fan exclaimed in disbelief. Truly, with a speed of Mach 0, it was no wonder that they hadn't even taken five minutes to get here from school.
"My speed is something I take great pride in!" Koro-sensei said, tilting his head back with a tone full of self-love.
"Alright, I've witnessed your speed, teacher. But are you really planning to go to a restaurant looking like this? I think as soon as you step out of this forest, the police will definitely invite you for tea!"
Under normal circumstances, Koro-sensei would disguise himself when outside the school. However, based on what Chen Fan knew from that anime, if no one noticed the disguise, there was definitely something wrong.
With a skeptical gaze, Chen Fan's eyes widened in shock.
He never expected that this Tentacle Monster could actually transform. Yes, transform! In just a moment, its octopus-like form morphed into a pool of yellow liquid. Quickly, this liquid solidified into the shape of an ordinary man—albeit one with yellow skin and a bald head.
As Chen Fan stood there dumbfounded, the yellow-skinned Big Baldy swiftly donned a black coat and pulled out various items from within it to start applying makeup on his face.
When Chen Fan finally regained his composure, he found himself staring at an ordinary man in a black coat. From his perspective, Koro-sensei's disguise skills had reached an extraordinary level.
"Although I admit I'm quite the handsome guy, you shouldn't keep staring at me like that! It makes me feel embarrassed!" Koro-sensei feigned shyness. The expression on his face was utterly genuine without any hint of distortion.
"Okay, I won't look!" Chen Fan stiffly turned his neck to focus elsewhere. The sudden transformation from monster to ordinary passerby was quite shocking; he needed a moment to process it.
Taking several deep breaths helped Chen Fan calm down. Turning back to the young man before him, he asked with a twitching mouth, "So teacher, where are we going now?"
"Follow me!" Koro-sensei said, his tone shifting to one reminiscent of a seasoned driver guiding a novice.
Three minutes later, Koro-sensei, who had initially appeared calm, suddenly lost his composure. He realized he had forgotten something important: he didn't remember the way to the restaurant. Chuckling awkwardly, he said, "Chen Fan, it seems I've forgotten the route to that restaurant!"
Upon hearing Koro-sensei's confession, Chen Fan's expression darkened slightly. Here he was, treating him to a meal, and the guy couldn't even find the way—what kind of host was that?
"Forget it," Chen Fan waved his hand dismissively. He pulled out his phone, selected a number from his contacts, and dialed. In a calm voice, he said, "Please reserve a table at a fine hotel for me; the food must be delicious. Then send someone to pick me up."
"I'm so sorry, Chen Fan! I can't believe I made such a big mistake!" Koro-sensei looked at Chen Fan with a pitiful expression. Having a student like him was truly wonderful, especially since he seemed to hold considerable power.
"Just remember to treat me next time, but please don't forget the way again!" Chen Fan replied lightly. It was absurd that the host had forgotten the address of the restaurant.
"I don't know if it's just my imagination, but I feel like you don't have any intention of killing me, Chen Fan. You know my life is worth 18 billion dollars!" As they sat on a park bench, watching Chen Fan appear relaxed, Koro-sensei voiced a question that had been on his mind for quite some time.
"Do you know how much money I have?" Chen Fan asked with amusement as he looked at Koro-sensei's strange expression. Even if he had considered killing this Clown Teacher, it wouldn't be for that 18 billion dollar bounty. He pointed toward a tall building in the distance that stood about a hundred stories high and said nonchalantly, "Do you see that building with the Four-Leaf Clover logo?"
Koro-sensei nodded in confusion.
"My family owns over a hundred of those buildings. Based on current market prices, each one costs around 1 billion dollars!" Chen Fan scoffed at the monster whose eyes were spinning in disbelief.
Eighteen billion? Was that really a lot? What an ignorant fool!
