When the expedition team gathered around the minibus, a lively young woman walked briskly towards them, waving her hand and greeting them with a bright smile, saying, "Hello, everyone from the Guardians of Time Association! I'm Sela."
This sudden appearance of the young woman caught the attention of everyone in the expedition team. She had a slender figure, her hair gently swayed by the wind, and her eyes sparkled with the light of wisdom and curiosity. Oman and the other team members turned to look, curiously observing this young woman who was about to become their guide and companion.
Nicholas quickly stepped forward and warmly shook Sela's hand: "Yes, I am Nicholas, the chairman of the 'Guardians of Time Association.' It's a pleasure to meet you, Sela. We are all looking forward to this collaboration."
Sela responded with a brilliant smile, saying, "I am also very excited to work with all of you. I am looking forward to this adventure and hope to be of assistance to everyone."
Afterwards, Sela introduced herself to the other members of the expedition team. Her attitude was confident and friendly, and her charm attracted every member. Oman noticed that Sela had a deep understanding of archaeology and Egyptian history. Not only was she fluent in multiple languages, but she also had extensive experience in field archaeology.

Everyone followed her, passing through the busy market and narrow alleys, eventually arriving in front of a somewhat weathered-looking apartment.
The exterior of the apartment appeared a bit old, with peeling paint, but the structure remained sturdy. Sela turned to everyone and said, "This will be our living place for the next few days. The exterior may not look great, but the inside is quite comfortable."
Upon entering the apartment lobby, everyone noticed a stark contrast between the interior and exterior. The interior decoration was simple but clean and tidy, exuding a unique sense of warmth. The members of the expedition began to unload their luggage, gathering in the lobby to help each other organize their equipment and belongings.
"Nicholas looked around and thanked Sela: 'Thank you, Sela, this place is really nice. Thanks for arranging our accommodation.'"
Sela smiled and responded, "You're welcome. I hope everyone feels comfortable here. We'll tidy up here and later I'll take you to the best local restaurant to taste some authentic Egyptian cuisine."
Oman and Max exchanged glances and then began to pack their belongings together. Despite the simple atmosphere of the apartment, it felt reassuring. This would be their temporary home in Egypt, the starting point of a brand new adventure.
After Sela distributed the keys, Oman quickly found Max and the two of them exchanged smiles, deciding to share a room. As the president of the association, Nicholas naturally had a room to himself, with a small office area next to it for him to handle necessary work.
Elisa and Kassandra nodded to each other, agreeing to share a room. Their room was simply decorated, but had a relaxed atmosphere that made it comfortable as soon as you walked in.
Lao Zhong and Olu Soga were assigned to the same room. Lao Zhong seemed somewhat resigned to this arrangement, but did not show much dissatisfaction. Olu Soga, on the other hand, wore his usual enigmatic smile, appearing indifferent to any arrangement.
Oman and Max entered their room, which, though not large, was tidy and comfortable. Two single beds were placed against the walls, with a shared desk in the middle. Several local landscape paintings hung on the walls, adding a touch of cultural atmosphere.
Max put down his luggage and jokingly said, "It looks like we're going to be roommates for the next few days, Oman. I hope you don't mind my snoring." Oman responded with a smile, "As long as you don't mind me getting up in the middle of the night to take notes."
The two looked at each other and laughed, then began to organize their belongings, preparing to face the challenges and adventures that lay ahead. In this distant land, they would explore unknown secrets together, and this small room would be their first home on this journey.
When they received the message from Sela, Oman and the other team members quickly tidied themselves up and gathered in the lobby of the apartment. After a long journey, everyone's stomachs were growling with hunger, looking forward to tasting the local cuisine.
Sela was dressed casually, with a friendly smile on her face, welcoming everyone. Her energy and familiarity with the local environment made everyone feel at ease. She led the group out of the apartment and onto the journey to the local restaurant.

Sela skillfully ordered a table full of sumptuous Egyptian specialties, including roasted lamb, fattah, and sesame flatbread. Each dish exuded an enticing aroma, leaving everyone eagerly anticipating the culinary journey about to unfold.
