In the skies above, Heckler confronted a group of flying animal users, numbering four or five. These individuals were all subordinates of Queen, under the command of Wind Disaster.
It is widely acknowledged that only five types of Animal-Type Devil Fruits grant the ability to fly. (The anime does not mention the term "Animal Type," but it is labeled in the manga.)
However, artificial fruits are not included in this count. Many members of Kaido's Beast Pirates are powered by these man-made fruits.
Even so, among the Beast Pirates, the number of flying Animal-Type Devil Fruit users is quite limited—only thirteen in total, excluding Queen, which leaves twelve.
Of these twelve, three from the forward team have been killed, leaving nine. Among them, three are attacking alongside the Northern forces, while the remaining six have all come here.
The forms include the Swiftlet (Apodiformes), Hummingbird (Trochilidae), Dove (Columbidae), Parrot (Psittacidae), and a fleeing Crow (Corvidae).
However, what caught Heckler's attention was the massive figure looming nearby.
With enormous wings spanning twenty meters, a long neck, and a sharp beak.
The Dinosaur fruit, Pterosaur Form.
Queen's strongest subordinate, Icarus.
Compared to the Argentinian Giant Eagle, the Pterosaur has longer wings; however, due to its wing structure, it lacks the agility and speed of true birds.
Of course, the Argentinian Giant Eagle also tends to glide and has very weak independent flying capabilities. While it is somewhat stronger than the Pterosaur in that regard, its overall combat ability is still inferior.
Yet, the gap in strength cannot be measured solely by Devil Fruit abilities.
Devil Fruit powers are built upon the body itself; they represent a transformation of one's physical form. Queen possesses an exceptionally strong physical body, which translates into higher strength after her transformation.
Her wings spread wider, reaching fifteen meters, and due to their strength, they could support her body.
The enhanced body was perfectly aligned with Queen's various abilities, making her combat power extraordinarily formidable.
In terms of strength, Icarus was not as powerful as Queen, but in his eyes, dealing with Heckler was not a difficult task.
"Kill him."
Icarus' wings trembled as the others transformed into their beastly forms, flapping their wings and lunging toward Heckler.
"Die for me."
Crowman was the first to charge forward, his claws reaching for Heckler.
"He has Armament Haki."
Heckler, recalling the scene from when he had fled, focused intently.
Boom.
Crowman was the first to reach close to Heckler, but Heckler had already vanished, appearing above him.
At 01kg, Heckler could float effortlessly, and in this state, he used Moon Step, moving at incredible speed.
"One Hundred Ton Pressure."
Heckler's body transformed into a weight of one hundred tons and came crashing down.
Bang.
Crowman raised his arms, covered in Armament Haki, to block the incoming strike, but the immense force continued to push him downward.
Whoosh.
Crowman plummeted as the other Ostrich Men lunged at Heckler, only to miss their target completely.
Heckler pressed down on Crowman, descending several meters before kicking off with great force, lightening his body and leaping high into the air.
"Phew."
Crowman let out a sigh of relief and quickly flapped his wings to stabilize himself.
The other Ostrich Men charged toward the airborne Heckler.
But at that moment, Heckler inverted his body, his arms swelling with power.
"Super Gravity Hundred Ton Armed Iron Fist."
With Armament Haki enveloping him, Heckler struck down toward Crowman as he descended.
"Huh?"
Just as Crowman regained his balance, a figure collided with him.
Boom.
Crowman's body was covered in Armament Haki, yet in that instant, he felt an explosion throughout his entire being, blood bursting forth as he fell downward.
At the moment of impact with Crowman, Heckler experienced a recoil that instantly reduced his weight to 01 kg.
Whoosh.
The powerful recoil sent him soaring.
As the other Ostrich Men were about to dive down towards Heckler, he suddenly appeared next to one of them.
Boom.
Heckler's fist struck the Parrot Birdman on the head, causing a sound like a shield being hit. The latter's eyes rolled back, and his body plummeted downward.
Whoosh.
Heckler vanished again, reappearing beside the Hummingbird Man, and threw another punch.
Bang.
The Hummingbird Man was also hit in the head by Heckler, losing consciousness and falling from the sky.
With one punch each, both of them collapsed to the ground.
Very good.
After landing two hits, Heckler appeared next to the Swiftbird Man and threw a powerful punch.
However, the latter's wings flashed as he narrowly dodged, and not only that, his beak lunged toward Heckler's face.
Moreover, Dove Man charged in again.
Heckler vanished once more, creating distance between them. The others did not pursue, as Icarus blocked their path and said, "Let's go together."
Looking at the three people in front of him, Heckler knew that a tough battle was about to begin.
The strengths of these Ostrich Men varied; the Queen was one of the Disasters, while the other Flying Troops were significantly weaker than her.
Pterosaur Icarus was inferior to the Queen, and Seagull Birdman ranked just below Icarus. They were both captains of their respective teams, with Seagull Birdman being an ordinary Vice Admiral and Icarus an Elite Vice Admiral.
The two vice captains were Dove Man and Crowman, both capable of using Armament Haki but weaker than the two captains, their physical strength roughly at the Major General level.
Following them were Swiftbird Man, Parrot Birdman, and Hummingbird Man, who were regular fighters at about the Colonel level.
He had previously defeated Crowman by taking advantage of his unfamiliarity with him and had also bested Hummingbird Man and Parrot Birdman.
The remaining opponents were not weak.
The swift Swallow was fast, and Dove Man excelled in Armament Haki.
And then there was the formidable Icarus.
Seeing them made Heckler feel somewhat uneasy.

The beastly form of Icarus had already spread its wings and lunged toward Heckler.
Dove Man and Swiftbird Man attacked from either side.

Queen looked at Ace and smiled, “I never expected that Ace would leave the Whitebeard Pirate Crew to join some Baroque Works. If you were still with the Whitebeard Pirate Crew, you wouldn’t be in this situation now, would you?”
“This situation? Do you really think you’re guaranteed to win?”
Ace replied coldly, “Until the last moment of battle, victory or defeat is still uncertain.”
“Is that so?”
Queen chuckled, “Do you expect that giant beast to stand against Kaido? Not only is that impossible, but even if it could hold its ground, what difference would it make? We’ve brought ten battle teams this time; you should know what that means.”
Hearing this, Ace narrowed his eyes. So many battle teams had arrived.
Within the Beast Pirates, Disaster had his own forces, such as Drought Jack’s assault team and Queen’s Flying Troops.
Queen’s Flying Troops were few in number, with only twelve core members, but each was incredibly powerful. Among them were two Vice Admirals, two Major Generals, and eight Colonels, with the rest being a large number of ordinary personnel.
In addition to this, the Beast Pirates had a total of twenty battle teams.
The strength of these battle teams varied greatly; no matter how strong a Captain was, they could not surpass Disaster, as there was a significant gap between them.
However, the strongest Captain could reach the level of an Elite Vice Admiral.
The weakest could still match a Major General.
What was most terrifying was that a considerable proportion of the numerous crew members possessed animal Devil Fruit abilities.

However, Ace had already mastered his form and swiftly retreated, his hands moving rapidly.

But suddenly, the fireballs exploded into glowing embers that surrounded her.
Queen was touched by Firefly, and just as she was about to land, Firefly ignited.

Queen snorted coldly and flicked her Armament Haki outward, dispersing the Firefly.
Then, gripping her twin blades, she saw Ace preparing to attack. She swung her swords forward while her wings swept fiercely and her legs kicked out.
Whoosh whoosh whoosh...
Six Wave Slashes instantly appeared before Ace. He concentrated flames, attempting to withstand the onslaught of energy.
However, the Wave Slashes shattered Ace's body, reducing him to several bursts of flame.
Ace slowly reformed, but Queen spread her wings and legs to stabilize her stance, her hands wielding dual blades once again slashing out.
"Windstorm."
With a swift motion, Queen unleashed six strikes from each of her long swords, totaling twelve slashes that transformed into twelve Wave Slashes aimed at Ace.
As the flames gathered, they were once again shattered by the Wave Slash, scattering into countless fiery orbs.
Wind Disaster Queen.
It was not only because she could fly but also due to her swordsmanship; she excelled at Wave Slash, capable of attacking from the ground.
The Wave Slash was essentially high-speed compressed air, akin to the essence of wind. After battling her, the ground lay in disarray, as if swept by a storm.
Many referred to her as Wind Disaster.
After being dispersed, Ace began to gather again, but Queen had already reached his side, her dual blades striking once more.
The blades infused with Armament Haki could cut through Ace's physical form.
However, as the long swords passed through, they did not make contact with Ace, instead slicing through the flames.
"What is happening?" Queen asked, perplexed.
Meanwhile, Ace appeared behind the flames, creating a burst of fire before pulling back and smiling. "I was just gathering after being dispersed for the first time. I kept releasing flames while hiding behind them. When you struck me, your attack only hit the flames I released in front."
"How did you know I wouldn't attack you from behind?"
"Why are you frowning, Queen?"
Ace smiled and replied, "Because I can see the future."
...
"Too many."
Sabo and the others stood on the island, watching four Sea Vessels approaching from the south. The leading Sea Vessel was enormous, and the other three were not to be underestimated either.
"There are so many Sea Vessels just from the south," Nico Robin said with a worried expression.
Law forced a smile and said, "Mr. Xia wants us to deal with the Sea Vessels from the South quickly, but that request is going to be difficult for us."
"That's right. There’s likely one of the Disasters stationed here, which will restrict Sabo's combat power," Kera added.
Four vessels in the south, four in the north, and five at the Front.
