"Here it comes."
The soldiers of the Dragon Palace trembled in fear as they watched the enormous shadow approaching them step by step. They tried to shield the king, but Neptune said, "Do not obstruct our benefactor."
The soldiers parted, and Neptune stepped forward, bowing slightly toward Xiaqiu. "Thank you for saving us."
Xiaqiu then walked closer until standing right in front of Neptune.
Neptune was towering, standing over twenty meters tall, nearly thirty. Even with his legs coiled, he still reached a height of around fifteen to sixteen meters.
This height was significantly less than Xiaqiu's overall length, but he was still taller than Xiaqiu. Without counting the dorsal fin, Xiaqiu was only about ten meters high.
That was roughly the length of his legs combined with the height of his horns.
Since Xiaqiu was a crawling creature, the point where his legs connected to his body was actually at the same level as his mouth.
So from this perspective, Neptune was much taller.
Xiaqiu lifted his head, still needing to look up at Neptune King, prompting Neptune King to bend down in a gesture of respect.
"This is nothing."
Xiaqiu moved his tentacles aside and said to Neptune King, "First, save Ba; he is injured."
"Can it talk?"

Xiaqiu replied slowly, "I am the president of Baroque Works. You can call me Xia."
"So you are the president of Baroque Works," Neptune said, his mouth agape in surprise. He hadn't expected that the notorious giant beast was the president of Baroque Works. He quickly added, "Mr. Xia, I appreciate what you've done."
"It's nothing; just a small effort on my part," Xiaqiu said lightly. Having dealt with Hody Jones and others this time, he felt it was a worthwhile gain, especially considering it involved a Vice Admiral's Enhanced Energy.
Neptune immediately responded, "Then please, Mr. Xia, come to Dragon Palace. We would like to host a banquet in your honor, along with Ace and everyone from Baroque Works."
"Won't that expose our collusion?"
Mule frowned and said, "I think we should just leave directly."
Ace smiled and replied, "I'm afraid we've already been exposed, especially since so many people saw the president save Dragon Palace. We can't just kill them all."
"No one expected Hody to rebel at this moment."
Neptune sighed and said, "But there's no need to hide anymore. Although it was the Edward Brothers who made me do this, our safety is secondary. The main issue is that the equality we've always pursued cannot be maintained. If we truly go against the World Government, I don't know how many Fishmen will suffer the consequences. Xiaqiu and the others were sent to their residence first, while Neptune took charge of the aftermath, dealing with the Human Pirates and the Rebels.
He made a decision to allow these members of the Rebel Army from Sea Forest to come to Fishman Island, join the military, and receive training.
These Fishmen had long lost their will to fight and were all detained, with arrangements made by the three princes and ministers.
As evening approached, Neptune prepared a banquet to host Xiaqiu and others. However, due to Xiaqiu's large stature, even though the banquet hall was tall enough, there simply wasn't enough space for Xiaqiu to fit through.
Thus, the banquet was held in the square, with Xiaqiu seated on the left side and Neptune on the right.
Just as Xiaqiu settled into position, others began to take their seats. The Great Prince and his ministers sat down in the lower right area, while Ace Heiklei, along with Nami and others, occupied the lower left. A row of tables stretched before them but abruptly ended at the positions of Xiaqiu and Neptune.
Xiaqiu and Neptune placed enormous bowls and plates directly on the ground, items that Neptune had used in the past, though they were still somewhat large for Xiaqiu.
However, there was a significant empty space beside Neptune.
"What is that for?"
Xiaqiu looked at the empty spot, a thought forming in his mind—could it be reserved for Shirahoshi?
As this thought crossed Xiaqiu's mind, a figure floated over from a distance. This figure was quite tall, slightly shorter than Neptune but much taller than the three princes: Shark Star, Prince Huangxing, and Crash Star, as well as Mule and others.
It was a mermaid—a beautiful one—with long pink hair and large blue eyes that gave her a youthful appearance.
Her figure was incredibly alluring; her ample chest was wrapped in a yellow bra, while her lower half featured a pink-and-white striped fish tail. Bubbles clung to her body as she floated gracefully through the air.
Shirahoshi.
Neptune's daughter, Princess Shirahoshi.
"Quite cute."
"Father."
Shirahoshi approached Neptune and gently called out to him.
"Please, have a seat."
Neptune smiled.
"Okay."
Shirahoshi sat down beside Neptune, her expression obedient as she curiously observed Xiaqiu.
Xiaqiu, in turn, stared intently at her.
One of the three ancient weapons, Poseidon.
She could control the Sea Kings.
The Giant Sea King she summoned was over five thousand meters long and incredibly powerful.
Such Sea Kings were unbeatable in the water, and in the world of the seas, no one could challenge them.
Xiaqiu had never considered this ability before. His goal was to announce his existence to the world; relying on the Sea Kings could threaten the world, but it wouldn't necessarily conquer others. By leveraging their power in battle, he could only become an object of fear rather than a symbol of the era.
Moreover, even if he consumed Shirahoshi, it didn't guarantee he would inherit this ability.
Thus, Xiaqiu had never thought about it and had not formulated any corresponding plans.
However, upon arriving at Fishman Island, he found himself drawn to this ability.
With it, he could stand invincible.
Therefore, Xiaqiu wanted to try obtaining it.
"Mr. Xia, this is the lady, Princess Shirahoshi," Neptune said with a smile.
"Princess Shirahoshi is quite beautiful."
Xiaqiu grinned; her figure was alluring, and her appearance was charming. Just looking at her exterior was enough to make anyone drool.
And she possessed such a powerful ability as well.
It was impossible to let go of her.
As Xiaqiu pondered this, Shirahoshi floated toward him.
"What are you doing here?"
Xiaqiu was taken aback, watching Shirahoshi approach.
Her height of seventeen meters towered over Xiaqiu, floating in the air, with most of her body above him.
"You..."
As Xiaqiu looked up at the towering Shirahoshi, he was about to ask what she wanted.
But in the next moment, Shirahoshi suddenly covered Xiaqiu's mouth with her arms, her two enormous, bouncy mounds pressing against his nose. Then her voice rang out, "Thank you, Mr. Xia."
"What?" Xiaqiu stood there in shock.
"Thank you for defeating Vander Decken IX." Shirahoshi's mouth broke into a smile as tears streamed down her face.
"It's been ten years. Because of Vander Decken IX's constant attacks, I couldn't go outside at all."
With tears flowing like rain, Shirahoshi continued, "But you defeated him. I... I can finally go outside and pay my respects to my mother."
"I'm not doing this for you," Xiaqiu thought coldly to himself. "And just because you thank me doesn't mean I won't eat you."
"Thank you, thank you, Mr. Xia."
Shirahoshi cried sorrowfully, holding Xiaqiu's face, tears streaming down her cheeks.
The more she cried, the more Xiaqiu felt a sense of warmth, wanting to respond to her expectations, while also feeling a sadness spreading deep within.
It was a bit strange.
But let's set that aside for now.
The timing wasn't right.
The meat didn't taste good when one was sad; it would be better to wait until she was happy before consuming her.
