The scene unfolding before everyone left them all in shock.
Ace and Heckler were somewhat calmer; since Eight had joined forces with the President, it was clear that the President knew the truth. Unless something unexpected happened, there shouldn't be any problems.
However, the subordinates of Neptune King and Hody Jones were puzzled.
Why did they suddenly attack? And with just one strike, Hody Jones was dead.
"Hody is dead?" Sharkman, wielding a war hammer, stood there in a daze.
"Hey, hey, hey, what exactly happened?" Vander Decken IX's mind was racing as he looked at the scene before him.
"Eight, what's going on?" Leopard Zang stared intently at Eight.
Eight drew his Six Blades and looked at them. "We won't stand by while you attack Dragon Palace."
"You..."
Icarus stood there, gripping his Red Staff but hesitating to make a move.
To kill Hody Jones in one blow was terrifying enough, even if he had only consumed one Es Poison. Moreover, there was Eight, who was now no less formidable than Leopard Zang.
"Not going to make a move?"
Xiaqiu swallowed hard, somewhat disappointed. One Hody Jones wasn't enough.
Hody Jones's strength wasn't particularly impressive. In the original story, Luffy had to use Fourth Gear twice to defeat Doflamingo. Luffy's Fourth Gear could suppress Doflamingo, but even in that state, Luffy and Doflamingo were still some distance away from the Admirals.
Yet when Luffy faced Hody Jones, after Hody had consumed so much Es Poison, Luffy only needed to use Gear Two to crush him. In the end, Hody managed to land just one hit on him, and that was partly because Luffy was wrapped in bubbles underwater at the time. (In the anime, Luffy was hit for an entire episode; in the manga, it was just once.)
Without the Es Poison, how strong is Hody Jones?
After consuming an Es Poison, Hody Jones was caught off guard by Luffy's sudden appearance, unable to react without using his second gear.
Xiaqiu launched a surprise attack from behind, and Hody Jones was still unable to respond.
After Xiaqiu devoured Gumir, his pure strength was enough to rival that of an admiral.
He used a shave to advance quickly, then focused his power into his teeth, coating them with Armament Haki.
Hody Jones attempted to block but had his head smashed in.
"Too little power."
Xiaqiu shook his head and looked into the distance.
"He killed Hody Jones; we will take revenge for him."
Dorsen shouted loudly, wielding a massive war hammer, leaping high to smash down on Xiaqiu's head.
"Crush it."
Daruma lunged at one of Xiaqiu's forelimbs, opening his mouth wide.
"Drain him dry, Spear Gun." Icarus unleashed eight Spear Guns towards Xiaqiu's side.
"Leave it to me."
Leopard Zang gripped the eight blades and slashed at Xiaqiu.
Clang.
The war hammer of Dorsen smashed against the forehead of Xiaqiu, while Daruma clamped down on Xiaqiu's forelimb, and Icarus unleashed eight Spear Guns that struck Xiaqiu's body.
But in the next moment.
Crack.
Dorsen's war hammer shattered, Daruma's teeth cracked, and Icarus's Spear Guns proved utterly ineffective.
Iron Body.
Xiaqiu's Iron Body was now on par with the strength of Armament Haki.
The attacks from these individuals had no effect whatsoever.
Die.
Xiaqiu tilted its head and bit down hard on Dorsen's body, sinking its teeth in and pulling him into its mouth.
Bang.
Xiaqiu's forelimb, struck by Daruma, suddenly snapped forward, sending Daruma flying. In mid-air, a Wave Slash appeared out of nowhere.
Thud.
Daruma was hit by the Wave Slash, a deep gash appearing on his body in an instant.
On the other side, Xiaqiu swiftly kicked out with its right foot, landing a heavy blow on Icarus and knocking him hard to the ground.
In just a moment, all three were already down.
As for Leopard Zang, he had been intercepted by Ba, and the two were locked in a fierce battle.
"Want to run?"
Xiaqiu locked onto a figure not far away, it was Vander Decken IX, who was stealthily making his way into the distance.
"I'll kill you first."
In an instant, Xiaqiu dashed towards Vander Decken IX, closing the distance to less than fifty meters with two quick flashes.
"Stop him, Mikuzutsu!" Vander Decken IX shouted.
Alongside his voice, a massive figure rose from afar, raising its fist to smash down on Xiaqiu.
Boom.
The enormous fist collided with Xiaqiu's head.
Pfft.
That was the sound of sharp spikes piercing through the fist.
Crack.
That was the sound of bones shattering upon impact.
Snap, crackle, pop.
After the fingers were crushed, the damage spread from the palm up to the forearm, with cracks appearing in all the bones.
This was Xiaqiu's power; even the giant Tiger Pufferfish Man, Bald Sea God, could not withstand it.
"That hurts so much."
Facing the blow, Bald Sea God clutched his arms and wailed, while Xiaqiu had already leaped over him, chasing after Vander Decken IX.
"No, no."
In response to Xiaqiu, Vander Decken IX summoned five flying knives in his left hand and shot them towards Xiaqiu.
However, they had no power at all; upon hitting Xiaqiu, they simply bounced off.
"Die."
Xiaqiu bit down hard, severing Vander Decken IX at the waist, then spat aside, showing no intention of eating.
On the battlefield, Eight was still fighting Leopard Zang. The two had been surrounded by Hody Jones's subordinates, and with their support, Eight found himself at a disadvantage.
Puff.
A Fishman shot from behind, hitting Eight.
He staggered, and Leopard Zang's attack was already upon him.
Eight blocked Six Blades, but the remaining two knives from Leopard Zang struck him.
Puff puff.
Two sprays of blood erupted as Eight's chest was sliced open, causing him to collapse to the ground.
"Die."
Leopard Zang's eight knives were suddenly before Eight, ready to strike down at him.
But at that moment, with a loud thud, the Long Shadow appeared.
Clang, clang, clang, clang...
The sound echoed as all eight blades were blocked.
There, at the edge of the blades, were eight tentacles holding them back.
"What is this?"
Leopard Zang looked at the tentacles in surprise. His own blades had been stopped by them, right at the forefront.
He could cut through iron, so why were these tentacles impervious to his attacks?
At that moment, the tentacles suddenly retracted and then swept out again.
"Eight Sword Style, Chaotic Slash."
The eight tentacles shot toward Leopard Zang once more.
"Then I'll cut you all down."
Leopard Zang gripped his eight blades and slashed at the tentacles.
Clang.
All the tentacles were blocked, but in the next instant, one by one, the blades in Leopard Zang's hands shattered.
"How could this happen?"
Leopard Zang spat out a mouthful of blood. He saw that in addition to the eight tentacles, two more had pierced through his body from behind. "Why are there still more?"
"Is my Eight Sword Style really just Eight Sword Style?"
Xiaqiu let out a cold snort and retracted the Tentacles.
"They... they were all killed."
Hammond's face turned pale as he witnessed the scene. He was merely a fighter of the New Fish-Man Pirates, but they were all Officers, yet they had been so easily slaughtered by that giant beast.
"There's still one left."
Xiaqiu glanced toward the crowd in the distance, focusing on Hammond with a grin.
"I've been discovered."
Cold sweat poured down Hammond's back as he shouted, "Don't be afraid! There's only one of him, and we have so many soldiers. Continue the attack!"
"Impressive."
King Neptune stood there, staring blankly at the scene before him, astonished at how easily the beast had killed Hody and taken down his subordinates.
"Too strong. Is this really the wanted giant beast?" Shark Star's expression darkened.
"I didn't expect the battle beast raised by Baroque Works to be this powerful," Prince Huangxing said, trembling slightly.
"He is not a battle beast raised by Baroque Works." Ace's voice echoed from a distance.
"Huh?"
King Neptune turned to look as Ace approached, while some confused Fish Soldiers attempted to block his path.
However, Neptune King waved his hand and said, "There's no need to stop him."
With the World Government official dead, there was no need for pretense anymore.
Neptune looked at Ace, puzzled, and asked, "Isn't he one of your pets?"
"Of course not," Ace replied with a smile. "As for his identity, we still need to keep it a secret."
"Do you need our help?" Shark Star inquired. "But there are still thousands of soldiers; no matter how powerful he is, he can't defeat them all alone, right?"
"Many people?" Heckler chuckled. "If they are just ordinary folks, they won't be much of a threat to him."
As soon as Heckler finished speaking, a massive mouth suddenly opened in the distance as Xiaqiu let out a thunderous roar.
"Roar."
The deafening sound erupted like a clap of thunder on a clear day, spreading in all directions and causing hearts to momentarily stop.
Not only that, but an overwhelming aura emanated from Xiaqiu, instantly expanding.
Conqueror's Haki combined with the mighty roar.
Boom.
The crowd around them froze in place before collapsing one by one to the ground, unconscious—over two thousand people fell.
Although there were still over eight thousand Rebels, they no longer dared to do anything. Trembling, they threw down their weapons and fled into the distance.
Even the soldiers of the Dragon Palace in the distance felt the overwhelming pressure approaching.
Only Xiaqiu stood firm, having crushed all the Rebels.
The sight of Xiaqiu roaring triumphantly was etched into the hearts of all the Fishmen who witnessed this scene.
