Chapter 134: Enhancement
On an abandoned deserted island, Xiaqiu's strong six legs bent slightly before unleashing tremendous power, charging towards the man in front of it.
"That's fast."
Seeing Xiaqiu's movement, Heckler bent his legs and leaped upward, soaring into the air.
However, halfway through his ascent, Xiaqiu suddenly jumped up, raising its two front limbs and arching its neck, aiming its head upward to strike.

The immense force was more than Heckler's arm could bear; it bent slowly before he was sent flying backward.

Xiaqiu's front half slammed down onto the ground, but its six legs propelled it forward towards Heckler, mouth wide open to bite.
Witnessing this, Heckler plummeted from the air and, upon landing, pushed off with his feet.
Whoosh.
He dodged to the side, and Xiaqiu bit into thin air.
After evading, Heckler stepped down with his right foot, spun around, and threw a punch aimed at Xiaqiu's neck.
"Nice try."
But in the next moment, Xiaqiu lifted its front leg and kicked out towards Heckler.
"Nice try."
Heckler twisted his body, turned, and threw a punch that collided with the giant claw.
Boom.
With a loud crash, Heckler felt a tremendous force hit him, sending his body flying backward. He intended to lighten his weight to absorb the impact and drift away with the wind. However, sensing the massive beast right beside him, he suddenly increased his weight, landing heavily on the ground with his feet sinking into the earth. His blood surged violently, but he had no time to stabilize himself. He quickly lightened his weight and leaped to the side, stumbling slightly as he landed.
Meanwhile, Xiaqiu slowly moved its front leg. The point of impact was sore, but there was no significant damage.
Xiaqiu looked at Heckler in the distance, gradually turning around to face him again.
However, Heckler took a few cautious steps, always avoiding being directly in front of Xiaqiu, hoping to launch an attack from the side.
Boom.
Xiaqiu charged again towards Heckler. This time, Heckler anticipated the move and leaped aside, instantly covering several meters.
Xiaqiu immediately halted its momentum, turned its body, and twisted its head to bite at Heckler.
However, Heckler leaped up again, flying towards the back.

The surface of the tentacle exploded, sending it flying away and crashing heavily to the ground.
But in the next moment, three more tentacles surged forward, surrounding Heckler.
Bang, bang.
Heckler threw a punch and kicked out.
With a powerful punch, Heckler smashed one of Xiaqiu's tentacles, using his foot to brace against another. However, he was struck by yet another tentacle.
Bang! Heckler took the hit directly but managed to elbow himself away, using the force to lighten his weight as he flew backward, narrowly avoiding the remaining tentacles.
But in that instant, Xiaqiu had retracted its head and lunged forward, snapping its jaws at the airborne Heckler.
Faced with Xiaqiu's teeth, Heckler immediately increased his weight, plummeting downward just in time to evade the attack by a hair's breadth.
Xiaqiu's jaws clamped down on nothing but air, but its massive head came crashing down.
Just as Heckler regained his footing, the enormous skull descended upon him. He had no choice but to raise both hands to support Xiaqiu's jaw.

Heckler's feet sank into the ground.
Not good.
Heckler braced his arms, attempting to push Xiaqiu away, but he couldn't budge it at all. He exerted all his strength to hold it up, yet his legs continued to sink deeper into the ground.
Just when Heckler felt that things were going badly, he suddenly sensed a release of pressure.
Boom! Boom!
Xiaqiu stepped back, creating some distance as it began to retreat into the distance.
"Are we not fighting anymore?"
Heckler slowly crawled out of the ground, panting as he watched Xiaqiu move away from him.
"Alright."
Bola walked towards Heckler and said, "Let's call it a day."
"I'm sorry, I... I lost again."
Heckler said with some frustration. Over the past six months, he had mastered the Devil Fruit and developed a new fighting style to complement its powers.
He had become stronger; not only had his arm strength increased, but he had also focused on training his legs, hoping to perfectly wield the abilities of the Devil Fruit.
Yet despite all this, he still couldn't defeat the giant beast.
