Chapter 121: Hunt and Breakthrough
"Quick, quickly treat Colonel Tina!"
Seeing Tina injured, the sailors on the battleship rushed towards her, calling for the ship's doctor to attend to her.
"The artery wasn't hit, but we need to stop the bleeding first. After removing the bullet, we must clean the wound before stitching it up and administering anti-inflammatory treatment."
The Ship's Doctor said swiftly, "We need a stable and clean environment along with the necessary equipment. We must return to the medical room in the cabin."

Tina's subordinate, Lieutenant Commander Gulf, shouted for the sailors to lift Tina onto a stretcher and head towards the cabin.
But in that instant, there was a loud crash, and the ship shook violently.

A sailor stumbled and fell to the ground, causing the stretcher to flip over, and Tina fell off with a cry of pain.
"I'm sorry, Colonel Tina! We—we're doomed."
Two sailors quickly scrambled to their feet and, along with others, rushed over to lift Tina back onto the stretcher.
"Wait."
Tina immediately raised her arm to stop their actions and asked loudly, "What happened?"
"A giant beast collided with the Sea Vessel," one sailor replied from the edge of the ship.
“Colonel Tina, there’s a huge hole in the bottom of the ship. If we get hit two more times, we’ll sink,” another Sailor shouted anxiously.
“The beast attacked us?”
Tina furrowed her brow, enduring the pain as she asked, “Where is it now?”
Another Sailor replied, “The beast is heading towards Brigadier Madson’s ship.”
“Nico Robin has already left. Why is it still attacking? And why is it heading back? Is it trying to leave us all behind?”
Tina was puzzled, then gritted her teeth and said, “Prepare the Iron Gun Cannon. Don’t let it get any closer.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
After the Sailor responded, Tina added, “Administer first aid to me; there’s no need to remove the bullet for now.”
“But…” the Ship's Doctor said, a hint of urgency in his voice.
Tina clenched her teeth and replied, “We can’t afford to worry about that right now. The beast is still attacking. If the ship sinks, we’ll be trapped in the cabin with no way out.”
She then looked into the distance and called out, “Captain Gulf, contact the Black Cage Fleet and ask them where they are.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
A Naval Officer in the distance quickly responded.

Xiaqiu rammed into the Battleship, creating a large hole before charging towards the second Battleship again.
The battleship of Pern had lost all its value. Pern and another capable officer had been killed by their own hands, leaving only ordinary sailors behind, whose abilities were mediocre.
Consuming them would provide limited Enhanced Energy, so that was not a consideration for now.
The only remaining target was the Commodore; he had to be eliminated.
"Quick, get closer to the shore."
When Brigadier Madson jumped into the water to hinder Xiaqiu, his first thought was not to help him but to escape.

He stumbled upon landing, and Xiaqiu was already charging from behind.

"It's getting close, sir. Should we fire?" a soldier shouted.
"Too close! We might hit that Naval Officer in front!" The officer hesitated for a moment, but as he gazed at the size of the beast, his expression hardened. "Fire! Aim for the giant beast!"
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Cannons fired round after round of cannonballs toward the giant beast.
Boom.
The cannonball landed beside Xiaqiu, exploding violently and sending shrapnel flying.
It was a shell.
Unlike solid bullets, it was filled with gunpowder. After being fired, the cannonball would explode, scattering fragments to injure enemies.
However, with Xiaqiu's skin defense, these fragments were utterly ineffective.
Xiaqiu continued the chase as two cannonballs were shot towards him. One exploded on his head while the other detonated diagonally in front of him.
The shrapnel could not harm Xiaqiu.
"Ah!"
But Madison was struck as if hit by a shield, his body stiffening. A piece of shrapnel pierced his back, while another hit his leg.
In that instant of being hit, he stumbled, and Xiaqiu had already lunged forward, biting down.
Crunch.
Xiaqiu's teeth clamped onto Madison's upper body, slowly closing. One of the front teeth pierced through his abdomen, while the others stabbed into his chest, crushing his bones and leaving his head completely crushed.
Yet Xiaqiu did not bite down completely; he severed Madison's body instead.
Even without using his Devil Fruit ability, Xiaqiu's strength was immense, rivaling that of a Commodore. But what if he did have abilities?
Holding onto Madison's body, Xiaqiu turned and charged towards the coast, planning to eat later.
"What is that?"
As they were about to enter the sea, Xiaqiu looked into the distance and saw six or seven battleships approaching.
These battleships were smaller than the three they had seen earlier, measuring only about forty meters in length, but there were many of them.
"Reinforcements have arrived?"
Seeing this scene, Xiaqiu snorted coldly. "What good is it to have so many sea vessels?"
These ships posed no threat to her, and being in the water meant she could leave at any time. Why should she worry about these battleships?
