Xiaqiu aimed in a direction, swung its body, and charged forward with all its might, instantly closing the distance to its target. The target's signal feedback was about twenty meters away, and based on the time difference of the returning sound waves, it was determined to be six hundred meters away. However, after swimming three hundred meters, Xiaqiu discovered that it was a Pomfret about thirty meters long. The signal and capture ratio changed from one to two to one to one point five. But while the previous distance was five hundred meters, it was now three hundred meters, reducing the gap.
With two sea fish in sight, Xiaqiu redefined the meaning of the sound wave signals and the time difference of their returns. However, to grasp the patterns, it would need dozens or even hundreds of sea fish. As long as it could redefine them, although the detection range and sensitivity would decrease compared to the East China Sea, it would still significantly increase from its current state. Seeing the Pomfret, Xiaqiu charged straight at it.
The Pomfret did not retreat upon seeing Xiaqiu; despite a ten-meter length difference—especially between thirty and forty meters—the weight difference could reach around a hundred tons. Yet the Pomfret charged directly towards Xiaqiu. Its body was relatively flat but had a very large head with a broad body. The forehead appeared massive, especially when magnified to thirty meters in length; it slightly protruded but was indeed enormous. As it charged at Xiaqiu, Xiaqiu showed no fear and accelerated towards it.
Boom! The two fish collided head-on. Crack! The sound of bones shattering echoed as the Pomfret's head caved in, creating a large dent. Its body twitched involuntarily, unable to stabilize itself. How dare you collide with me? In terms of strength, bone hardness, and even forehead size, Xiaqiu far surpassed it. It wouldn’t die immediately, but that didn’t matter; losing its ability to move was enough.
Xiaqiu darted towards another sea fish and charged again. One fish fled directly while another measuring forty meters was knocked over by Xiaqiu and bitten to death. With similar sizes, the other fish had no capacity to react against Xiaqiu. Four fish allowed Xiaqiu's sound wave information to become more complete; only two remained. But there was no time left; they were already close to Moo Moo's location.
If Xiaqiu attacked one fish, the other might retaliate. Accelerating towards Moo Moo, Xiaqiu increased its speed further. It soon spotted two fish not far from Moo Moo: one was about seventy meters long—a massive Orca—and the other was around forty meters—a Bass. An Orca! The Bass was insignificant; at forty meters long, Xiaqiu could easily kill it. The seventy-meter sea creature was much larger and weighed several times more than Xiaqiu; however, avoiding confrontation with the Orca could lead to victory without sustaining significant injuries.
But the Orca was different—it was the largest dolphin known for its intelligence and ability to hunt Great White Sharks. In a one-on-one encounter, an Orca wouldn’t fear a shark and had a good chance of winning. Moreover, Orcas preferred living in groups—at least two or three individuals or even up to fifty—making them fearless against shark packs. More importantly, Orcas were clever enough to target their enemies' hearts and weak spots, using currents to drive foes away and employing terrain effectively.
Xiaqiu felt concerned about whether this Orca was alone; although there seemed to be just one now, who knew if others lurked nearby? Moo Moo had already noticed the sea fish and stopped eating, sensing the massive creature approaching; its body trembled slightly as it prepared to flee. But then it spotted Xiaqiu and immediately relaxed.
“Moo Moo!” Moo Moo shouted suddenly as it charged towards the Bass. Understanding this choice, Xiaqiu decided to deal with the Orca instead. It quickly changed direction and raced toward the Orca.
Boom! Xiaqiu's speed continued to increase as it barreled toward the Orca. The Orca sensed Xiaqiu’s approach but did not retreat; instead, it adjusted its angle slightly and charged at Xiaqiu head-on. With such a size difference, there was no need for concern.
As they closed in on each other, just before impact, Xiaqiu suddenly rolled sideways—an offensive barrel roll (OBARREL). By rolling sideways, Xiaqiu avoided the Orca’s front while brushing against its side before continuing to roll over its midsection completely.
This maneuver resembled an aircraft's offensive barrel roll; however, unlike that technique where you follow a target but risk being bitten if they suddenly turn—resulting in a roll back while maintaining distance—Xiaqiu’s barrel roll aimed at dodging the enemy’s front directly.
The difference lay in the amplitude of movement: the former required larger movements while the latter involved smaller ones. With this barrel roll executed perfectly, Xiaqiu evaded the Orca's front and reached its midsection.
Sensing Xiaqiu’s movement, the Orca attempted to stop and turn but at that moment, Xiaqiu surged forward while rolling rightward—its left pectoral fin raised above while its right fin lowered—and then abruptly turned back with its head facing backward and tail forward in a sideways roll.
As it rolled over 180 degrees with minimal movement amplitude during that transition, Xiaqiu tilted its body downwards towards the left side before flattening out completely while executing a sharp right turn.
The sharp turn served as an advanced maneuver for aircraft turning techniques categorized into left sharp turns, right sharp turns, and upward sharp turns—each directing differently but requiring side-rolling for minimal movement amplitude before returning flat.
Xiaqiu executed a right sharp turn alongside the Orca as it swam forward at increasing speed while the Orca slowed down after evading Xiaqiu’s approach before turning itself around.
Since Xiaqiu had veered leftward away from it, the Orca turned leftward too in an attempt to prevent Xiaqiu from escaping directly that way—the very direction where Xiaqiu continued charging forward.
However, due to its slow reaction time while trying to turn after decelerating slightly toward this direction, Xiaqiu barreled straight through.
Bang! The impact of Xiaqiu’s horn struck just behind the Orca's head with a resounding crack! The skin of the Orca caved in creating a large dent followed by sounds of bones fracturing echoing through water.
Simultaneously, force transmitted into the Orca’s brain caused its body to come abruptly still before flipping sideways due to sheer impact force from Xiaqiu's charge which wasn’t any less than that of an Orca’s own strength.
Not wanting a direct collision due to potential injury from such a large opponent’s momentum during movement made avoiding confrontation preferable for safety reasons.
Seeing that the Orca had halted momentarily allowed Xiaqiu to pull back slightly before shaking its head and biting down on the underside of the Orca's head repeatedly without mercy until finally killing it outright.
It was over! Exhaling deeply after what felt like an intense encounter despite only using a few moves—it had been quite perilous! Any misstep could have led to sinking instead!
Had that barrel roll not been executed properly earlier on—it might have sustained injuries instead! Such dangerous maneuvers could yield exceptional results when performed correctly!
Xiaqiu glanced at the fallen Orca without consuming any part of it before looking off into distance where sounds echoed: crackle crackle!
Moo Moo gnawed on Bass whose body trembled helplessly beneath its grip despite their similar lengths—Moo Moo being slightly longer yet bulkier overall!
More importantly though were aspects like strength and tooth length which gave Moo Moo clear advantages over any sea fish within comparable sizes!
After killing off Bass swiftly enough—Moo Moo raised its head spotting Xiaqiu before swimming over quickly!
At this moment when both converged together—suddenly sensing immense vibrations surrounding them once again!
Xiaqiu released sound waves revealing several more sea fish nearby! More were coming? Blood flowed increasingly attracting more sea creatures!
Having eaten enough already—it deemed unnecessary continuing battles further ahead! Killing off just a few more would suffice for gauging power levels while gathering some sound wave data!
Time to slip away! Without hesitation—Xiaqiu swam toward open waters ahead with Moo Moo closely following behind as they ventured further away into depths unknown!
