Chapter Forty-Six: Damn It
In the evening, inside the Sixteenth Branch Base, a Major dressed in a Navy Uniform stood there, a smile on his mouse-like face.
"The Colonel and Lieutenant Colonel took the Sailors to hunt down the Arlong Pirates. They have no idea how terrifying the Arlong Pirates are. A friend of mine at headquarters has revealed that Arlong is a member of the Sun Pirates and has even been to Impel Down. Relying solely on the Colonel won't be enough to handle a Fishman."
"They haven't returned yet; they must have been wiped out."
"Hehehe, I informed the Colonel about the Arlong Pirates while using my illness as an excuse to stay at the Naval Base. Nami waved back, while Zoro grunted, "Make sure to train hard."

Marcel nodded heavily. Once he saw the two leave, he began checking the ropes, sails, rudder, and other equipment.
Every time they docked at the Coast, a thorough inspection of the ship was necessary to prevent any issues.
But just then, a Stevedore's voice rang out, "Where's my money?"
"Damn it, my wallet is missing too," another Boatman chimed in.
Marcel patted his waist and realized that his own pouch of coins had also vanished without a trace.
"Is there a thief? But there weren't any strangers coming ashore," he thought.
Marcel couldn't figure out how his wallet had gone missing, but he didn't suspect Nami or Zoro. To him, a Navigator and a tall swordsman would never do such a thing.
Meanwhile, down by the shore, Nami and Zoro walked away to a distance. Nami pulled out the wallet, took the money, and tossed the empty wallet aside.
"First earnings."
Nami looked at the money with a hint of guilt in her expression, but her gaze quickly turned calm as she tucked the coins into her pocket.
The second afternoon.
"Boss, we couldn't find anything," several Fishmen emerged from the water, their bodies dripping wet.
"It's already too late; Crocboy is probably..." Choo said from the side.
"Damn it."
Arlong stood there, his hands clenched tightly, a look of guilt on his face.
Crocboy was one of his top commanders, with considerable combat strength. He would rather lose ten Fish Soldiers than let anything happen to Crocboy.
And now, besides Crocboy, five other Fishmen had also been killed.
This was equivalent to a quarter of the strength of the Evil Dragon Pirate Crew.
"Eight is still not back."

The other was a gigantic Squid, with a combined length of thirty meters including its Tentacles and body.
At that moment, the Black Fish had firmly clamped down on the Squid's head, while the Squid's Tentacles tightly ensnared the Black Fish. However, the Black Fish's own appendages began to spread out, attempting to entangle the Squid's Tentacles.
"This claw is too troublesome."
Xiaqiu felt its Tentacles grip the opponent's Tentacles when suddenly, the claws above pierced into its own Tentacles.
Giant Pacific Squid.
This was the largest invertebrate on Earth, even larger than the Giant Squid.
However, the largest recorded Giant Pacific Squid on Earth measured only eleven meters. Based on its body parts and Suction Cups, it was estimated that a Giant Pacific Squid could reach lengths of over twenty meters.
But such a Giant Pacific Squid would be found in the depths of the ocean.
The Giant Pacific Squid before Xiaqiu measured an astonishing thirty meters in length, with its Tentacles alone stretching fourteen meters long, not counting the body.

Xiaqiu's Tentacles possessed immense strength. After devouring Crocboy, Xiaqiu's muscles had been enhanced, making them robust and powerful.
Although Xiaqiu's Tentacles were shorter, their strength was not significantly inferior to that of its opponent. The only disadvantage lay in the opponent's claws, which put Xiaqiu's Tentacles at a disadvantage during their fierce struggle.
Xiaqiu's target was the opponent's tentacles, while the opponent aimed for his body.

Its tentacles gradually lost strength, and Xiaqiu began to devour it.
He swallowed the entire Giant Pacific Squid into his belly, filling himself up and waiting for the evolution to begin, then slowly floated upwards.
He reached the surface of the sea, where no trace of islands remained.
To capture the Giant Pacific Squid, Xiaqiu had to dive deep into the ocean, searching everywhere. After nearly a month, he had only found this one.
Now he was at least ten nautical miles away from the nearest island.
Xiaqiu would not be deterred by distance; he could still return to the island.
Having eaten many sharks, he possessed their keen sense of smell and could track scents back to the island. Factors like water quality and salinity could serve as indicators.
