As the first light of dawn spilled into Patalliro City, the streets began to bustle. Vendors called out their wares, children laughed and chased each other, women haggled with baskets in hand, and the elderly sat resting by the roadside, creating a peaceful and lively scene. But Shiva knew that the city's stability was only surface-deep, with Agastya's iron-fisted rule and the people's fear lurking behind. 0

Shiva navigated through the crowded market, tall and resolute. He seamlessly blended into the crowd, carefully listening to the conversations around him, hoping to glean a clue about the resistance movement. He heard discussions about food prices, new clothes, and recent weather, but initially, information about the resistance organization seemed elusive. 0

When he passed by a noodle stall, two middle-aged men sitting in the corner were discussing something in low voices. Shiva keenly caught their topic - "Last night, the resistance organization successfully attacked Agastya's granary again, so they should have enough food to support them for a few days." The other man replied with a furrowed brow, "But will this not provoke greater anger from Agastya? I heard he has already ordered a large-scale search." 0

Upon hearing this, Shiva was intrigued. This was the information he wanted. He decided to follow one of the men to see if he could make contact with the core members of the resistance organization. After all, if he wanted to successfully assassinate Agastya, he needed to gain every possible advantage in this city. 0

Shiva silently followed the two men. He kept a distance and whenever they stopped, he pretended to look around or buy some snacks, making sure not to attract their attention. The market here was bustling with all kinds of shouting and noise, providing excellent cover for Shiva. 0

"Have you heard? The leader has really returned," one of the men said in a low voice. 0

"Really? This time, we should have a chance." Another man's eyes flashed with a glimmer of hope. 0

"Yeah, I just hope he can bring more support this time. After all, we are short-handed in the city, and we are almost at the end of our rope." 0

Shiva A thought crossed his mind, "Who is the leader?" These were the things he wanted to know. He continued to stay vigilant, carefully tracking them. 0

The two entered an old area of the city, where the houses looked old and dilapidated, and there were few people around. They walked into a narrow alley and then entered a rather old-looking teahouse. 0

Shiva waited for a while and then followed in. Inside the tea house, apart from the owner, there were only the two men and a few others. He found a corner to sit in, ordered a pot of tea, and remained highly alert, straining to catch the conversation of the men. 0

"Someone is getting impatient, we must act quickly," one of the men said. 0

Another responded, "Tonight, the abandoned warehouse in the south of the city. The leader has already arranged everything." 0

Shiva noted this information and decided to go to the warehouse tonight to see if they could meet this "leader." This intelligence gathering seemed quite successful. 0

Just as Shiva was recording everything and preparing to leave, the atmosphere in the teahouse immediately became tense. The calm tea fragrance was shattered by a sudden group of soldiers, enveloping the entire teahouse in a sense of urgency. The owner and several employees quickly and fearfully prepared tea and snacks for these unexpected guests. 0

"I said, move faster! We stand guard so hard to protect this city and guard you civilians!" one of the soldier leaders shouted loudly, with a hint of cunning in his eyes. 0

The two men who were originally talking also seemed a little nervous. They lowered their heads and drank tea, avoiding any eye contact with the soldiers, afraid of being recognized. 0

Shiva sat quietly in the corner, understanding in his heart that these soldiers were not just here for tea. He guessed that they might have received some information and came here to investigate. He quickly calculated in his mind how to leave this place without exposing himself. 0

The teahouse owner carefully carried tea and snacks to the group of soldiers, placing them on their table. The soldiers seemed to casually taste them, but their eyes occasionally scanned every corner of the teahouse. 0

"The tea tastes not bad," one of the soldiers said with a cold smile, then glared at the owner. "You better behave and have no dealings with those rebels, or you will die a very ugly death." 0

The shopkeeper trembled and said, "Yes, yes, sir, we definitely dare not." 0

Shiva was secretly vigilant and decided to make plans after these soldiers left. 0

The soldiers' loud clamor rang out, often accompanied by coarse laughter. They discussed lowbrow topics and mocked the commoners in the city, making the atmosphere in the teahouse even more oppressive. 0

Sitting next to Shiva, a woman tightly covered her daughter's ears, bowing her head and avoiding any eye contact with the soldiers. The other patrons in the teahouse also chose to keep their heads down and drink their tea, avoiding becoming targets of this troublesome group. 0

However, in one corner, the two members of the resistance clearly could not tolerate the behavior of the group of soldiers. A flash of anger passed through their eyes as they tightly gripped their teacups, as if they were about to explode. 0

Shiva secretly noticed one of them whisper to the other, "These beasts are really out of line. If it weren't for avoiding trouble, I really want to deal with them right now." 0

Another person calmly pulled him back, signaling him not to rush in: "Now is not the time, we have more important things to do. However, one day, they will pay for what they have done." 0

Shiva somewhat agreed with the calm rebel member's view, but he also knew that these soldiers were not only puppets of Agastya, but also a cancer on this city. 0
