Su Xue glanced back at him, a flicker of impatience in her eyes. "Zhang Tian, we don't have time to discuss these theories right now. We must focus our efforts on repelling these Demons and protecting our home."
Zhang Tian refused to back down. "But our people have already sacrificed too much! I can't just stand by and watch them die! We need to find the Demon leader and deal with them directly; that's the only way to truly solve this problem!"
"Do you think I don't want that?" Su Xue's voice was filled with suppressed anger. "But what we need now is to hold our ground and wait for more support."
"Wait for support?" Zhang Tian scoffed. "Are we supposed to wait until we're all dead?"
Their argument grew louder, drawing the attention of those around them. Just then, a rumbling roar shook the ground, interrupting their debate. The walls of the hall were suddenly smashed open, and a massive Skeletal War Elephant charged in, throwing everything into chaos as dust filled the air.
The appearance of the Skeletal War Elephant caught everyone off guard. Its enormous body swept through the hall, destroying everything in its path; countless buildings collapsed in an instant, and the ground trembled as if the world were coming apart.
"Everyone, prepare for battle!" Su Xue shouted, her dagger glinting ominously as she rushed into the fray.
Zhang Tian ceased his arguing and swung his longsword, facing the Skeletal War Elephant head-on. Each strike was fueled by anger and power, his sword flashing like lightning as it left marks on the creature's body. However, the Skeletal War Elephant's defenses were astonishing; Zhang Tian's attacks failed to inflict any fatal damage.
"This beast is so hard to deal with!" Zhang Tian gritted his teeth.
"Don't be careless! Its weakness is at the back of its neck!" Su Xue called out loudly while dodging the attacks of the Skeletal War Elephant.
At that moment, the Skeletal War Elephant let out a deafening roar and swung its massive front leg down toward Zhang Tian. He barely had time to react before he was struck by its overwhelming force, sent flying through the air before crashing heavily to the ground, blood spilling from his mouth.
Zhang Tian's cries echoed throughout the hall as he curled up in pain on the floor. Li Peng and Wang Zhen rushed to his side, their faces etched with worry and urgency.
"Zhang Tian, hang in there!" Li Peng whispered urgently, trying to channel Spiritual Energy into Zhang Tian's body, but his injuries were too severe; blood continued to pour from his mouth.
"Damn that Skeletal War Elephant!" Wang Zhen seethed, his eyes filled with rage and helplessness.
Just then, another Skeletal War Elephant burst in, plunging the entire hall back into chaos. The Demon army surged forward behind it, their numbers far exceeding expectations; every Demon Warrior was filled with a thirst for blood.
"Protect everyone!" Su Xue shouted as she brandished her dagger against the Demons. Her movements were swift and lethal, but there were simply too many of them for her to handle alone.
The Skeletal War Elephant's gaze fell upon Zhang Tian; it let out a low growl before raising its massive front leg and bringing it down hard toward him. A flicker of despair and unwillingness crossed Zhang Tian's eyes as his body was crushed in an instant, blood splattering everywhere.
"Zhang Tian!" Li Peng and Wang Zhen shouted in unison, their hearts filled with shock and fear as they witnessed the scene unfold.
The disciples of the Zhang family were equally horrified. Their clan leader had been ruthlessly trampled to death by the demonic army, a blow they could hardly bear.
"What should we do?" one disciple of the Zhang family asked in terror, despair evident in his eyes.
"Retreat! We must retreat!" another disciple cried out, and they began to scatter, trying to escape this place filled with death.
However, the onslaught from the demons showed no signs of weakening. The Skeletal War Elephant and Demon Warriors continued to close in, their slaughter resembling a merciless storm that crushed all resistance.
"We cannot give up!" Su Xue shouted loudly, her voice filled with determination. "Everyone, follow me! We must concentrate our strength and drive back these demons!"
Li Peng and Wang Zhen quickly regained their composure; they knew this was not the time for sorrow. They had to protect the remaining members of their clan.
"Li Peng, we must join forces!" Wang Zhen said. "Only our two families can withstand the demon's assault right now!"
"I know!" Li Peng nodded, and the two quickly organized a defensive line, attempting to fend off the demon attack.
Li Ming and Master Han found Chen Yao amidst the chaos, and the three swiftly joined the battle. Li Ming's sword light flashed like lightning as he swiftly dispatched several demons, while Master Han used his powerful Spiritual Energy to push back the enemies.
"We must concentrate our strength to protect the remaining people!" Li Ming declared loudly, his gaze resolute and filled with determination.
"Yes, we cannot give up!" Chen Yao replied coldly, her movements agile and lethal, each strike accurately hitting a demon's vital point.
At that moment, the Skeletal War Elephant let out a deafening roar once more, swinging its massive front legs down towards Li Peng and Wang Zhen. The two quickly dodged, but the sheer force still left them shaken.
"This beast is too strong; we need to find its weakness!" Wang Zhen gritted his teeth.
"Its weakness is behind its neck!" Su Xue shouted loudly. "Focus your attacks there!"
Li Peng and Wang Zhen nodded and quickly adjusted their tactics, trying to approach behind the Skeletal War Elephant's neck. However, its defenses were formidable; every swing it made carried devastating power that made it difficult for them to get close.
In the Hidden Realm's Sacred Hall, once a symbol of peace and majesty, chaos erupted as demons wreaked havoc. Towering stone pillars collapsed, exquisite murals were consumed by flames, and heavy wooden doors were violently smashed open. The roars of demons and sounds of battle filled the entire space.
Wang Zhen and Su Xue fought side by side, their sword lights and Spiritual Energy intertwining as they took down wave after wave of Demons. However, the sheer number of Demons continued to surge into the hall, and despite their profound skills, the two gradually found themselves overwhelmed.
"Wang Zhen, we need to find a way to break through!" Su Xue shouted as she wielded her dagger, swiftly slaying a Demon.
Wang Zhen blocked an attack from a Demon with his sword and replied, "Su Xue, we are surrounded; breaking through is going to be very difficult!"
Su Xue gritted her teeth. She knew Wang Zhen was right, but she was unwilling to give up. "We can't just hold our ground here; we must find an opening!"
At that moment, another wave of Demons charged in, and among them was a massive Skeletal War Elephant that crashed into the hall. Its enormous body swept everything aside, destroying everything in its path. Countless structures collapsed in an instant, and the ground trembled as if the heavens were falling.
Wang Zhen struggled to hold on; his sword light flickered, but he felt immense pressure facing such a powerful enemy. Su Xue fought valiantly, her movements agile and lethal. Each strike accurately hit the vital points of the Demons, but her strength was rapidly depleting.
"Su Xue, watch out!" Wang Zhen suddenly shouted as he saw the Skeletal War Elephant lift its front legs and charge toward Su Xue.
Su Xue quickly dodged but was still knocked back by the force of the Skeletal War Elephant, crashing heavily onto the ground. Gritting her teeth against the pain, she sprang back up, gripping her dagger tightly, determination shining in her eyes.
"We can't back down; we must hold on!" Su Xue told herself, knowing that they were now at the most critical moment.
Wang Zhen also struggled to keep going; he had sustained multiple injuries but gritted his teeth to stay on his feet. Each swing of his sword was filled with immense anger and power as he tried to push back the Demons.
However, there were simply too many enemies, and the two gradually fell into a desperate battle. Just then, a deafening explosion echoed through the hall, engulfing everything in blinding light.
