After settling Bai Rong'er in, Ye Xiaohan called Liu Yang over and entrusted him with household matters. "Keep an eye on things at home. I need to step out for a bit; I have an appointment with Xia Zhanggui today to assess the results of the first phase of treatment."

Ye Xiaohan patted her cheeks to invigorate herself. "Isn't it always like this in the early stages of starting a business? No investment means no returns. Besides, there are just a lot of family matters right now; it will get better in a couple of days."
Once Bai Rong'er's condition improved further, they wouldn't need someone watching over her all the time. The renovations at the restaurant were also in full swing; in about a month, they would be wrapping things up.
By then, everything would be on track, and she would have enough time to rest.
Ye Xiaohan first headed to the Dye House, where the Dye House Owner had been waiting for her.
"Boss Ye, you're here! Come quickly and take a look."
The Dye House Owner greeted Ye Xiaohan excitedly, barely taking a moment for pleasantries before pulling her toward the wastewater treatment area to see the results.
Although Ye Xiaohan had anticipated the effectiveness of the treatment, seeing the Dye House Owner so elated indicated that the results exceeded expectations.
"Xia Zhanggui, you're too impatient," Ye Xiaohan teased as they walked. "This is just phase one; the results will only get better from here. If you're this happy now, what will you do when it improves even more?"
The Dye House Owner laughed. "As long as you can fix my Dye House, Boss Ye, I'll do whatever it takes!"
As they laughed together, they entered a courtyard filled with large tanks containing wastewater discharged from the Dye House. Ye Xiaohan employed modern dyeing treatment techniques to divert the pollution and let it settle in these tanks.
Most importantly, she added her specially formulated decomposer to purify the wastewater.
The primary pollution from the Dye House stemmed from wastewater generated during processing, which also emitted a pungent odor. As long as they addressed the wastewater treatment issue, they could resolve most of the Dye House's problems.
Time was of the essence, and she didn't have enough time to seek better methods. She could only take important measures first, refining the rest in the process.
The first phase of purification had already shown significant results. Ye Xiaohan walked around the pool, noticing that the previously pungent odor had dissipated considerably. There was still some lingering smell, but it was no longer overwhelming.
"The results are good. As long as we keep this up, it will only get better. At least it's definitely within an acceptable range for a bustling area," Ye Xiaohan nodded, satisfied with this trial.
Although she always appeared confident in front of others, she felt a bit anxious during her first operation. Fortunately, she had a wide range of interests and had explored many topics before.
Modern pollution was severe, and she had encountered numerous health issues caused by environmental problems. Therefore, she had taken some time to understand the causes and solutions to pollution, not expecting it would come in handy here.
From the final results, compared to modern methods of remediation, Ye Xiaohan's approach wasn't particularly superior. However, ancient Dye Houses were not as large as their modern counterparts and faced severe pollution, so her methods were still sufficient.
Most importantly, her unprofessional techniques were already quite advanced in an era with virtually no effective remediation methods.
This point was vividly expressed in the uncontainable joy of the Dye House Owner.
"Thank you so much, Boss Ye!" the Dye House Owner repeatedly expressed his gratitude to Ye Xiaohan. "When you first came to see me, although I agreed to cooperate with you, I still had my doubts."

Holly is incredibly easy to survive and simple to plant; just inserting a branch into the soil can lead to it taking root in a short time.
The reason for planting a large number of Holly trees is primarily to utilize their purifying function to cleanse the soil of the Dye House. Due to years of pollution, the soil quality at the Dye House has already changed.

Additionally, after planting Holly, photosynthesis can help purify the air around the Dye House.
Ye Xiaohan insisted on explaining the reasons to the Dye House Owner, even though he had readily agreed when Ye Xiaohan first proposed it.
"Boss Ye, just tell me what you need to do, and I will carry it out without hesitation," said the Dye House Owner. "You saved my Dye House; you are my benefactor, and I trust you."
The Dye House Owner acted quickly. He had nearly given up on the Dye House before, but now that there was a chance for revival, he naturally seized every moment.
Moreover, there were many people watching him closely. Just dealing with repeated demands from the Government Office to cease operations was enough to give him headaches.

The planting of Holly progressed rapidly; before long, the saplings were thriving.
To achieve better results, the Dye House Owner even specially transplanted some older trees. Although it cost him some money, he spent it willingly.
