This was something Ouyang Zixin truly enjoyed.
The memories that had disturbed her new life were now calmed by Yun Tianmo's presence before her, bringing peace to her heart.
She was reluctant, unwilling, and even more unwilling to accept the words of that woman who claimed to be her. "Let's live a simple life together, shall we?" Ouyang Zixin hesitated before speaking. She didn't know much about Yun Tianmo; his identity perhaps destined him not to live an ordinary life, but she still earnestly hoped for his safety.
"Mm." Yun Tianmo gently touched Ouyang Zixin's head and smiled indulgently. "Is this a proposal for us to be bound for life?"
Hearing Ouyang Zixin say "we" made Yun Tianmo very happy; it meant she accepted him into her life or perhaps invited him to be part of her future.
"Pfft, when did I say that?" Ouyang Zixin playfully scolded. Yun Tianmo's shamelessness was delightful. As long as it wasn't loneliness or sadness, she felt happy.
Yun Tianmo chuckled lightly and fell silent again, his fingers gently weaving through her hair. The awakened Ouyang Zixin looked so adorable no matter how one looked at her—she could cry, laugh, and scold people. It was so much better than lying there quietly.
That night, the two of them cuddled together. Occasionally chatting about trivial matters while each held their own thoughts without revealing them until noon the next day when they still hadn't seen anyone return. Yun Tianmo began to feel that something was amiss.
"I need to go out and find them." The Underground Palace seemed calm, but it was actually fraught with danger; one careless move could lead to disappearance. Nearly a day had passed since the agreed time, and he could not wait any longer. After all, while the Shadow Guard was one thing, Yun Tianying was poisoned, and if it flared up, his life would be in imminent danger.
Ouyang Zixin nodded in agreement, indicating that she would go as well. After all, they were just one handprint away from completing their task, and splitting up wouldn't necessarily be faster. Most importantly, she didn't want to part ways with Yun Tianmo at all.
The Underground Palace wasn't too large, but finding someone within it wasn't easy. Although they knew the direction, after walking for about an hour, they still hadn't seen anyone.
"Are you sure you didn't get the direction wrong?" Ouyang Zixin looked at Yun Tianmo skeptically. If what he said was true and they had agreed on a meeting time, then even if they walked far away, they should have turned back by now. How could they not see anyone?
Facing Ouyang Zixin's doubts, Yun Tianmo merely smiled faintly and continued to hold her hand as they walked forward.
After another half hour, even Yun Tianmo began to feel uncertain. Was there really something wrong with the direction in this Underground Palace? They were walking at a reasonable pace, yet still couldn't see anyone; it was indeed unreasonable.
The two stopped in their tracks. Yun Tianmo extended his consciousness to reconfirm the various directions within the Underground Palace.
"That's right." Since there was no mistake, why couldn't they find anyone? Although Yun Tianying's cultivation level was not low, his physical condition was poor. Given his pace, he should have been able to meet them by now. Had he taken a wrong turn? Or had something happened?
Seeing Yun Tianmo's lips pressed into a thin line, Ouyang Zixin gently squeezed his hand and comforted him, "Don't overthink it; maybe we just missed them. How about we turn back? Perhaps they have already returned."

Ouyang Zixin frowned upon hearing this. Suddenly, she felt something rush into her mind—it was that powerful Mental Power. How could she have forgotten about it? She quickly closed her eyes and heightened her Mental Power to its peak. In an instant, the entire panorama of the Underground Palace appeared in her mind.
"Oh my!" Ouyang Zixin knew that her Mental Power had improved significantly, but she didn't expect it to be this powerful. This was her first time using the Mental Power she had just absorbed.
Yun Tianmo heard her exclamation and immediately became tense, positioning himself in front of her. He said in a deep voice, "What did you discover?"
The incident with the Light Cauldron had become a shadow in Yun Tianmo's heart. Because he had been slightly inattentive, Ouyang Zixin had been injured and unconscious for such a long time. Therefore, now that she seemed to be experiencing something unusual, he became alert right away, determined not to let her encounter any danger again.
"Don't be so nervous," Ouyang Zixin said with a laugh upon seeing his reaction. "I found that my Mental Power has improved; I can see the entire Underground Palace now. Just wait a moment, I'll help you find someone."

If someone else had said this, Yun Tianmo would have scoffed and not believed it at all. However, Ouyang Zixin was different; she already possessed various types of Mysterious Energy within her body. Given that extraordinary things could happen to her, it didn't seem strange that her Mental Power could cover the entire Underground Palace.
But when did she become capable of this?
"I see them," Ouyang Zixin's voice interrupted Yun Tianmo's thoughts. "They are together." She said happily, realizing they had indeed gone in the wrong direction. Now both of them were to the northeast of their location; as long as they followed the map in their minds, they would encounter them in less than an hour.
"Let's go." Yun Tianmo didn't think much of it; after all, Ouyang Zixin's improved Mental Power was a good thing. He took her hand and prepared to move forward, but he suddenly realized he didn't know the direction and froze in place.
"Uh, follow me; I'll lead you... Oh no, your brother seems to be injured." Ouyang Zixin's tone suddenly changed, and her expression became serious. It seemed that Yun Tianying was indeed in trouble; no wonder they missed their scheduled time.
