It had been half a day, and Yun Tianmo had been relentlessly attacking the Underground Palace, attempting to break through it. However, no matter how hard he tried, the stones in the Underground Palace remained unmoved. Yet, Yun Tianmo did not give up until Yun Tianying could no longer bear to watch and stepped forward to intervene.
"I know you're worried about Miss Ouyang, but continuing like this isn't a solution. Let's pause for a moment and discuss what to do next," Yun Tianying said with a wry smile. It was surprising to see the usually calm Yun Tianmo lose his composure like this; it seemed love truly had immense power.
Yun Tianmo, feeling slightly fatigued, pinched the bridge of his nose. He clenched and then relaxed his other hand, saying, "The longer we wait, the more dangerous it becomes for her."
Yun Tianying understood this all too well, but he insisted that Yun Tianmo stop his actions for now. He gathered the others together and said, "Miss Ouyang's condition is strange; there are no signs of improvement. What do you all think we should do now?"
Nangong Tuo was just as anxious as an ant on a hot pan but couldn't think of any good solutions. He could only pace back and forth in the Underground Palace, occasionally checking on Ouyang Zixin's condition. Now that he saw Yun Tianmo had also stopped, he wondered if they were truly out of options.
The silence among them left Yun Tianying feeling helpless. In truth, there was no need to ask if there were any solutions; if there were, everyone would not be sitting idly by watching Yun Tianmo go mad with his attacks.
"Is there any way to wake Miss Ouyang up? Doesn't she have a Small Stone Box that is closely related to these Millennium Ruins? Perhaps we can find a way out from it," Yun Tianying voiced his thoughts. That Small Stone Box looked quite magical, but only Ouyang Zixin could use it; even Yun Tianmo could only assist and not use it directly.
However, waking Ouyang Zixin was an incredibly difficult task—much harder than breaking through the Underground Palace. Even so, its feasibility seemed greater.
"Um..."
Just when everyone felt helpless, Ouyang Zixin suddenly let out a grunt and moved her eyebrows slightly.
Nameless, who had been watching closely from the side, immediately noticed and quickly informed Yun Tianmo.
The others were unaware of the connection between Yun Tianmo and Nameless; they only saw him suddenly stand up and walk toward Ouyang Zixin. The group exchanged glances, unsure of what he intended to do next, and could only follow him.
"Are you awake?" Yun Tianmo asked Nameless.
"There’s a slight reaction; she might be waking up soon," Nameless replied, somewhat excited. Normally, he could sense the fluctuations of Ouyang Zixin's Mental Power, indicating that she was conscious. However, strangely, those fluctuations were not continuous but intermittent, leaving Nameless unsure of when Ouyang Zixin would actually wake up.
"Mo Wang, I have an idea, but I'm not sure if it will work," Nameless hesitated for a moment before speaking. He had tried this method himself without success. If Yun Tianmo attempted it, he was uncertain whether it would yield any results.
"Go ahead," Yun Tianmo said without hesitation; any method needed to be tried at this point.
Nameless's idea was quite simple: to connect with Ouyang Zixin using Mental Power. Since recognizing his master, Nameless had experienced being sealed several times, severing his connection with Ouyang Zixin. But the situation was different now; he was free, and although Ouyang Zixin was unconscious, her Mental Power still existed. His thought was to let different people attempt to communicate with Ouyang Zixin mentally.
After hearing this, Yun Tianmo considered its feasibility. He had previously entered Ouyang Zixin's Mind, but that method was quite risky. Since Nameless had already failed, should he really try?
"Mo Wang, this method is somewhat dangerous, but it's the only option we have left. There are four of us here; perhaps one of us might succeed," Nameless continued to persuade Yun Tianmo. If they allowed Ouyang Zixin to remain in this state of unconsciousness, the consequences could be dire.
At this point, Yun Tianmo's hesitation would only increase Ouyang Zixin's danger; he surely understood that.
"Mo?" Yun Tianying called out tentatively after seeing Yun Tianmo standing beside Ouyang Zixin without any response for a long time.
Ouyang Zixin had his Mysterious Energy within her; her Mind was where she stored that energy. Perhaps if he tried, he might succeed. However, for the others here, such a method was too risky; he couldn't gamble with Ouyang Zixin's life.
After making his decision, Yun Tianmo said, "I will attempt to enter her Mind; you all wait here."
The three were taken aback by his words. Entering another person's Mind was an extremely dangerous act; if something went wrong, the person being entered could end up becoming an idiot or worse—lose their life.
Nangong Tuo immediately jumped in to stop him without thinking. He pointed at Yun Tianmo and shouted, "Are you trying to kill Ouyang Zixin? No way! I don't agree with this method!" He was looking forward to marrying Ouyang Zixin after they got out of the Millennium Ruins; there was no way he could let Yun Tianmo do this—absolutely not.
Yun Tianying also wanted to stop him. This method posed danger not only to Ouyang Zixin but also to Yun Tianmo himself. If a person's Mental Power detached too much from their body and couldn't be reassembled properly, then that person would essentially be rendered useless. But when he saw the determination in Yun Tianmo's eyes, he hesitated—was it true that even the most rational people could become irrational in the face of love?
"If you miss her now, your entire life..."
"Yes!" Yun Tianmo replied quickly and firmly, his eyes filled with immense determination as he looked at Yun Tianying. If he missed Ouyang Zixin in this lifetime, he didn't think he would ever be moved by any other woman. So even if there was danger, he still wanted to try.
Hearing Yun Tianmo's response, Yun Tianying fell silent. He understood his younger brother; once he made up his mind about something, it would not be easily changed, and any attempts to stop him would be futile.
"Fine, go ahead and try, but be careful," Yun Tianying said, as if he had also made up his mind to support his brother's decision. He then turned away, as if afraid that he would regret it the next moment.
Nangong Tuo saw that no one was paying attention to his objections and quickly dashed over to Ouyang Zixin's side, pushing Yun Tianmo aside. "Don't you dare touch her! I won't allow it!"
Although Nangong Tuo knew that Ouyang Zixin would only become more dangerous if things continued like this, he still couldn't agree to let Yun Tianmo undertake such a risky endeavor. What if she were to die? He would rather she just remain in a deep sleep...
"Knock him out and take him away!" Before Yun Tianmo could speak, Yun Tianying ordered the shadow guards to act. Since the decision was made, they had to move quickly; Nangong Tuo was too much of a hindrance.
"You dare!"
Bang!
Yun Tianying nodded. These shadow guards were indeed well-trained; the rest was up to Yun Tianmo. (To be continued.)
