Ouyang Zixin had nothing more to do at Xiaoshen's Totem, so she proceeded in order towards the Xuan Bear Totem, still holding the Small Stone Box in one hand and supporting herself against the stone pillar with the other. She placed her hand on the totem, closed her eyes, and said to Nameless, "This is the second procedure. After completing these eight procedures, the Small Stone Box will open."
Nameless watched Ouyang Zixin's actions and was momentarily confused about the connection between the totems and the Small Stone Box. However, when he saw Mysterious Energy shoot from Ouyang Zixin's hands and inject into both the Small Stone Box and the totem, he began to grasp some of the mystery.
About a cup of tea later, the Mysterious Energy released by Ouyang Zixin surprisingly returned. However, it did not return along the same path; instead, it traveled through a circular bridge that Ouyang Zixin had created before merging back into her body.
"Exchange?" Nameless exclaimed in surprise. He hadn't expected that this small Stone Box concealed such profound secrets. No wonder Ouyang Zixin had looked so pleased when she discovered this secret.
Indeed, it was an exchange.
Ouyang Zixin used her body as a bridge for Mysterious Energy, connecting the Small Stone Box with the stone pillar. She allowed Mysterious Energy to enter both, and after a process of "purification," it exchanged positions once again through Ouyang Zixin's body. The Mysterious Energy that had entered the Small Stone Box was released and then entered the stone pillar; similarly, the Mysterious Energy that had entered the stone pillar was released and then entered the Small Stone Box. Ultimately, both streams of Mysterious Energy returned to Ouyang Zixin's body, leaving behind energy in both the Small Stone Box and the stone pillar as part of a process designed to create some commonality between them—resulting in resonance.
This kind of exchange is a highly advanced technique even among people; it was surprising that it could be applied to these stones. How could Nameless not be astonished? But how did Ouyang Zixin learn this technique?
The Black Bear had also completed its task. Upon noticing Nameless's burning gaze, Ouyang Zixin had no choice but to surrender and stop keeping secrets. She honestly explained, "I didn't originally know this technique. I thought that since these totems have patterns similar to those carved inside the Small Stone Box, I would try to establish a connection through my body."
What seemed like an advanced technique in Nameless's eyes was merely an accidental realization for Ouyang Zixin—completely a case of serendipity.
"Have you noticed any changes in this Small Stone Box?" Nameless was genuinely happy for Ouyang Zixin; such techniques were not easily learned, and now she had acquired one. It was certainly something to celebrate. However, the Small Stone Box still appeared dull and gray, showing no signs of having absorbed any Mysterious Energy.

Before Ouyang Zixin could say whether the Small Stone Box had changed, she heard a sound from the stone pillar nearby that resembled something breaking. The two turned to look and discovered that the area originally depicting a bear's head had actually cracked open. A fissure ran diagonally through the entire bear head totem.
This totem, which had existed for at least a thousand years, was now crumbling at this moment. Ouyang Zixin and Nameless exchanged glances, both feeling puzzled. Could it be because of the Small Stone Box?
"What I wanted to say earlier is that this Small Stone Box seems to be getting heavier." Although it appeared unchanged on the outside, its weight seemed to be increasing. The Mysterious Energy released by Ouyang Zixin was not much; she had only walked around once, and besides, Mysterious Energy itself had no weight. So when Nameless asked about any changes in the Small Stone Box, she intended to say that it seemed to have gained weight. Unexpectedly, they encountered the cracking of the stone pillar first.
Nameless first examined the Xuan Bear Totem's stone pillar and found that aside from the crack, there was no other damage. She then turned to look at the Small Stone Box and wondered, "Could it be that something has been transmitted inside?"
This theory was quite far-fetched and lacked any basis, but if nothing had been added to the Small Stone Box, why would it be getting heavier?

Half a day had passed, and he hadn't expected finding a way to Beautiful Scenery Without Form would be harder than searching for an exit from the Underground Palace. This made him curse under his breath. Yet his feet did not slow down as he flew toward another direction. From what he saw in Mirror Guardian, Yun Tianying was seriously injured, and every time his body weakened due to poison, he experienced excruciating pain that felt like his bones were being eaten away. Therefore, he needed to find him as soon as possible.
When Yun Tianmo emerged from the Underground Palace, he clearly understood that it was purely luck, as he had not truly found the exit himself. Something must have happened on Ouyang Zixin's side that caused him to be seemingly teleported out of the Underground Palace. After coming out, he discovered countless passageways in front of him, densely packed to the point of making his head spin. At the entrance of these passageways stood a stone tablet with the inscription: "All changes return to one; what the heart desires."
At that moment, Yun Tianmo cursed under his breath at the trouble. Such mechanisms that appeared to offer many choices usually had only one opportunity, and most of the time and options were just a waste. However, for Yun Tianying's sake, he had no choice but to take the risk. He divided the Mysterious Energy into countless strands and shot them into the passageways, intending to simultaneously explore where these countless paths led.
If others saw him act this way, they would surely be astonished; it was practically a self-destructive approach. The consumption of so much Mysterious Energy was immense, not to mention controlling it to investigate the situation—how could that be possible? Yet Yun Tianmo did not think it was impossible; at least in his view, this was a faster method.
Fast as it may be, the enormous consumption was an undeniable fact. In just a short while, Yun Tianmo's complexion had already dimmed considerably, and his clenched teeth showed his struggle. Fortunately, he was strong enough and ultimately locked onto sixteen passageways that might lead to Beautiful Scenery Without Form. Next, he could only try them one by one.
