It really is as Yun Tianmo said, completely isolated.
At this moment, Ouyang Zixin truly admired Yun Tianmo. It felt like there were very few things on the mainland that could stump him. Looking at his young age, how did he manage to cram so much knowledge into his brain?
"Then tell me, what’s going on with the cave beneath the Deep Pool?" Now wasn't the time to study Yun Tianmo's brain structure; they should first check if there were any treasures inside the cave. Otherwise, why would the Mirror Guardian react?
Nameless detailed the situation in the cave again and finally opened his hand to reveal a tiny speck of "Dust," only about half the size of a grain of rice, in front of the two. Upon hearing that there was something, Ouyang Zixin hurried over to take a look. Seeing her move so quickly, Nameless was worried she might blow it away and quickly raised his hand to block her. "Be careful; this thing is very small."
Yun Tianmo observed Nameless's actions and felt that this guy was becoming more and more like his master. Initially, he had looked at him differently, but now, it was better to let it go...
Ouyang Zixin scoffed at Nameless's warning, rolling her eyes as she said, "I didn't use much force to blow it. Besides, where could it possibly fly to?"
The Underground Palace was only so big; apart from the stone door they entered through, they hadn't discovered any other exits or entrances. Therefore, Ouyang Zixin thought Nameless was making a big deal out of nothing. With their combined spiritual senses, finding anything—even something smaller—wouldn't be a problem.
Nameless still wasn't reassured and insisted that Ouyang Zixin be extra careful before he flicked his hand again. In his palm lay a very tiny object he called "Dust." However, it was clear that this couldn't just be ordinary dust or garbage. The Underground Palace was so vast that if dust were to settle here, it would have accumulated long ago. Thus, any discovery here definitely held significance.
"It is very small," Ouyang Zixin said with a shy smile. Nameless was right to stop her; something this tiny could easily be blown away if she wasn't careful. It wasn't that they couldn't find it; it would just take too much effort and waste time.
This piece of Dust was grayish-black, dull and lacking any luster—no wonder Nameless called it Dust. He had already observed it at the bottom of the pool but hadn’t discerned anything then. Now he looked at Ouyang Zixin and Yun Tianmo, hoping they would make some discovery.
"Look!" Just as Yun Tianmo was seriously examining the piece of Dust, Ouyang Zixin suddenly screamed, pointing at the Mirror Guardian in her hand for both men to see.
A black dot suddenly appeared in the center of the originally rippling mirror surface. Since the mirror itself was not large, the dot was quite small, but it was still noticed by Ouyang Zixin immediately. Yun Tianmo and Nameless looked over upon hearing this and also spotted it at a glance, as the appearance of a black dot on such a smooth mirror was indeed very eye-catching.
"It seems like..."
"A reflection." Before Nameless could finish speaking, Yun Tianmo voiced his thoughts. The black dot appearing in the mirror was indeed the reflection of the "Dust." However, since the positions of the two objects were not quite right, Nameless had not immediately thought it could be a reflection.
According to the principles of refraction and mirror reflection, with the mirror in Ouyang Zixin's hand and the "Dust" in Nameless's hand, this reflection should not be possible. Yet after Yun Tianmo mentioned it, Ouyang Zixin and Nameless seemed unable to refute it. When Nameless closed his hand, the black dot in the mirror disappeared. When he opened his hand again, the black dot reappeared.
"That's amazing," Ouyang Zixin exclaimed. If this were on Earth, it would likely be considered some kind of supernatural event or magic, or perhaps a phenomenon produced under some advanced technology.
Yun Tianmo reached out and picked up the "Dust" from Nameless's palm, pinching it between two fingers and placing it directly above the Mirror Guardian. When the "Dust" was aligned with the black dot, he released his grip. Surprisingly, the "Dust" did not fall immediately but hovered in mid-air, looking somewhat unstable.
Ouyang Zixin initially did not know what Yun Tianmo intended to do but soon realized that this "Dust" might be part of the Mirror Guardian or at least closely related to it. So she said nothing and quietly waited to see what would happen with these two items.

Boom—
A loud noise suddenly erupted in the dark Tunnel, causing the entire Tunnel to shake violently. Both Feng Chengxuan and Zhai Yiqi, who were already exhausted, felt a sinking feeling in their hearts, thinking that this time no one would escape.
"Zhai Yiqi..." Feng Chengxuan felt resentment; if it weren't for this person being so ungrateful, he might have escaped long ago instead of waiting until now.
"Crown Prince, don't panic." After steadying himself, Zhai Yiqi noticed that something seemed different after that loud noise. He interrupted Feng Chengxuan's words and turned around to look behind him.
In the darkness, his vision was limited, but at this point, he no longer hesitated to use the Mysterious Energy. He strained to gather the Mysterious Energy in his eyes, determined to see what was happening behind him in the Tunnel. Feng Chengxuan also sensed his change and calmed himself to feel the situation, his face twitching slightly, unsure whether it was from surprise or joy.
“How is it?” After a moment, Feng Chengxuan asked Zhai Yiqi with a trembling voice, curious about what he had discerned after looking for so long.
Zhai Yiqi didn’t care whether he could see or not; he nodded and said, “This Tunnel was originally winding and twisting. We have felt it deeply as we traveled, but now it seems to have become straight. I can even see the body of the Mystical Beast that Jiang Fang summoned for me being crushed.”
This was already the second Summoned Beast that Zhai Yiqi had lost. Although they were not of high rank, it was still enough to cause him pain. If it hadn’t been for temporarily blocking the mechanism, he would never have been willing to sacrifice his Summoned Beast.
“What do you mean?” Feng Chengxuan had an inkling of what was happening but wasn’t entirely sure. Just moments ago, he thought he was doomed, yet now he suddenly discovered that the light of survival was actually not far away, which left him in disbelief.
“Just as the Crown Prince thought,” Zhai Yiqi replied. “We should be temporarily out of danger.”
He didn’t say the latter part directly, mainly because he worried that Feng Chengxuan might retaliate out of guilt for feeling that Zhai Yiqi had sacrificed for him. If he believed they were safe now, then let him think that way; once a person truly relaxed, they wouldn’t have any thoughts for a while.
Meanwhile, Zhai Yiqi could remain vigilant. If danger returned, he would be prepared. (To be continued.)
