Ouyang Zixin suddenly had the illusion that she had traveled back to the era of Saint Seiya, where simply shouting a slogan could transform a model into a sacred armor. Or perhaps she had arrived in the era of Sailor Moon; this inexplicable thought flooded her mind, causing her logical reasoning to momentarily stall.
After the one hundred and eight acupuncture points on Yun Tianmo's body were covered, he was no longer entangled by Black Qi. Instead, a nearly transparent membrane appeared around him, resembling the substance that had just connected with those scales. This made him look both sacred and sinister at once; light represented the divine, while his own Black Qi exuded an alluring aura.
What a contrast! Although there was no wind in the Underground Palace, Ouyang Zixin felt as if she truly experienced what it meant to be disordered in the wind.
Suddenly, the uncontrolled Source Serpent Scales scattered on the ground all soared into the air, reflecting against the one hundred and eight scales on Yun Tianmo's body. A blinding light instantly enveloped him. Ouyang Zixin stared too intently, and when the light erupted, she felt a sharp pain in her eyes and quickly shut them.
"Nameless, can you still see?"
Hearing Ouyang Zixin's question, Nameless realized that not only had she closed her eyes, but she was also shielding her face with her hands. However, he felt nothing and could still see everything behind that light clearly.
"Master, Cloud Young Master should have completed the step of subduing the Mystical Artifact," Nameless nodded, indicating that he could still see. He then began to act as Ouyang Zixin's eyes, sharing everything he saw with her.
After the blinding light faded, Yun Tianmo was completely enveloped by the Source Serpent Scales. However, it didn't seem like he was covered by scales; it looked more like they formed an armor that hovered around his body, creating a solid barrier for him.
After about a stick of incense's worth of time, the light gradually receded, and Ouyang Zixin could finally manage to open her eyes again. But when she looked at Yun Tianmo again, she found that all those Source Serpent Scales had vanished without a trace.

Yun Tianmo looked at Ouyang Zixin, who appeared to be in shock, and couldn't help but chuckle inwardly.
