Baike initially wanted to refuse; after all, this was their first meeting, and they weren't familiar enough to call each other by their names. Yet when she saw the expectation in Yun Tianying's eyes, she inexplicably nodded in agreement.
Following Yun Tianying's lead, Baike did not press further about the Beautiful Scenery Without Form but instead strolled along the lakeside with him. A gentle breeze mixed with the lake's humidity carried a fragrance of peach blossoms from somewhere nearby, which was quite enticing.
Although the surface of the lake was occasionally disturbed by the wind, it quickly returned to its calm state. After walking for a while, Baike realized that despite Yun Tianying's lengthy conversation, he had not mentioned anything about the origins of the lake's scenery.
"Tian Ying, you did that on purpose," Baike remarked, sensing from Yun Tianying's words that despite his frail condition, he was quite witty and humorous. She soon shed her discomfort and spoke more casually, even playfully.
Upon hearing this, Yun Tianying turned his head and saw Baike feigning anger while her phoenix eyes sparkled with laughter, her face blooming like a peach blossom as she awaited his response. He couldn't help but smirk inwardly; the so-called Legitimate Daughter of the Bai Clan was nothing special. He had merely learned a bit of Eye Technique and had easily captivated her.
"White Maiden has misunderstood me. The scenery here is so beautiful and unique that it deserves to be appreciated before any explanation," Yun Tianying said. His hatred for the Bai Clan was beyond words, so he didn't care whether his methods were honorable or not when dealing with Baike. If he could deceive her, he would; if not, he would resort to violence. However, before taking action, he wanted to see what value this Legitimate Daughter of the Bai Clan still held.

He occasionally glanced back at Baike to see if she understood; once she nodded, he continued: "Mysterious Energy is originally meant for cultivation purposes only. The reason Beautiful Scenery Without Form remained untouched by human greed was precisely because the vast amounts of Mysterious Energy emitted from Lake Center could not be harnessed for personal use and could even cause significant harm to humans. Yun Tianying added "cannot be easily absorbed" to later draw Baike into his scheme.
