The siblings were at an impasse when the voice of the guard outside interrupted their discussion.
Feng Chengxuan was taken aback. A surname Bai? Could it be someone from the legendary Bai Clan that resides in Dream Nation?
“Let her in.” Clearing his throat, Feng Chengxuan glanced at his sister, momentarily pausing their conversation to see what the Bai Clan wanted.
The visitor was indeed Baike. She had been residing in Leaving the Royal Palace for some time, but no one treated her as a distinguished guest; instead, it felt more like house arrest. Today, she had finally heard that someone from the royal family of Dream Nation had arrived, prompting her to ask Nan Gong Yao to let her out.
Dressed in a light pink gown with a crimson outer garment, Baike looked exquisite, radiating the aura of a noble Legitimate Daughter. Upon entering the room, she greeted Feng Chengxuan and Feng Chengzhi, but paused when she saw Feng Tianjiao, seemingly surprised that the Eldest Princess was also present.
“Your Highness, Eldest Princess,” Baike performed a graceful bow, but it lacked the formalities expected of royalty and felt more like a casual greeting between women.
Feng Tianjiao narrowed her phoenix eyes slightly and smiled, returning only a half-bow.
“Are you from the Bai Ethnic Group?” Feng Chengxuan asked as tea was served, looking at the elegant Baike.
“Indeed,” replied Baike, standing calmly in the center of the room. Her pleasant voice was steady, showing no discomfort under their scrutiny.
As the tea was brought in, Feng Chengzhi finally spoke up, saying, “Eldest Brother, you really should have invited White Maiden to sit down.”
Hearing this, Feng Chengxuan clapped his hands and laughed heartily, realizing his rudeness before inviting Baike to take a seat.
Unfazed, Baike walked to the farthest seat and gently tapped the lid of her teacup. Her graceful demeanor captivated everyone's attention like a beautiful scenery.
Noticing that both her brothers were distracted by her presence, Feng Tianjiao couldn’t help but clear her throat lightly and casually remarked, “The climate in this Exiled Nation is indeed quite different from that of Dream Nation. I think I caught a chill last night. I’ll take my leave now.”
With that, she stood up and exited without acknowledging Baike.
As the only daughter of the ruler of Dream Kingdom, her status was undeniably prestigious. However, seeing how disrespectfully Baike treated her irked her even more. To make matters worse, she didn’t even appear less attractive than herself; even her elder brother seemed captivated by her presence. This left Feng Tianjiao feeling increasingly uncomfortable.
“White Maiden, what brings you here?” Feng Chengzhi knew his sister too well; he had just spaced out at the same time as Eldest Brother. He feared it might upset her. He smiled bitterly in his heart but maintained a polite demeanor as he looked at Baike.
Baike set down her teacup and looked up at Feng Chengzhi. “What does the Fifth Prince think?”
At this time, what else could she be visiting for besides the Millennium Ruins? She truly did not understand why the Fifth Prince felt the need to ask.
Feng Chengzhi was already handsome. Rather than being called a prince, it would be more appropriate to refer to him as a noble young man. Hearing her words, he smiled gently and did not find anything abrupt about Baike's question. “It would be better for White Maiden to speak plainly.”
The Crown Prince, sitting above them, was not known for his good temper. Now that she had come to seek an audience without lowering her stance, if she angered him, it would not bode well for a young lady.

"What does the White Maiden mean by this?" Feng Chengzhi gave Feng Chengxuan a calming look, urging him to suppress his anger and listen to what Bai Ke had to say.
Seeing this, Bai Ke realized it was her last chance. If her offer wasn't good enough, she feared today would be a wasted trip. Gritting her teeth, she made her proposal—she would exercise the privileges of a Legitimate Daughter and mobilize ten top experts from her clan as guards.
Upon hearing that she was offering guards, Feng Chengxuan scoffed, "Do you think there are no capable people in our royal family?"
Bai Ke chuckled lightly, "Not at all."
"Does the White Maiden mean that she is willing to be the vanguard for Dream Nation?" Feng Chengzhi leaned slightly forward, clearly intrigued.
