In the cave, a sudden change occurred. The people outside the cave sensed something was off, but they were puzzled as to why the Howling Twin-headed Serpent had not yet entered the cave while those inside were already taking action. However, they had no time to think further, as the Howling Twin-headed Serpent was approaching rapidly, prompting both Baike's group and Ning Zhiyuan's side to spring into action.
Meanwhile, inside the cave, Ouyang Zixin had seen through the actions of the two guards pretending to be strong, but she did not expect that their target would be her. This realization made her somewhat irritated.

The two guards from the Bai Clan were named Li Ming and Li Li; they were brothers and thus worked together seamlessly. They positioned themselves one on each side of Ouyang Zixin, forming a pincer movement that trapped her in the middle.
Li Ming practiced Orange Element Body cultivation, making him faster than Li Li. However, in order to coordinate with Li Li, he did not unleash his full speed. Li Li practiced Blue Element Controller cultivation. Although he shared a lineage with Liu Ying, his Mysterious Energy manifested as a long sword, which left him unable to defend against Liu Ying’s attack from behind while focusing on attacking Ouyang Zixin. The brothers disregarded Liu Ying's strike and took a hit directly; they swallowed their blood back down as they attacked Ouyang Zixin's face.
Ouyang Zixin found herself retreating repeatedly and had no way to evade further; Liu Ying had not yet caught up behind her. She felt a surge of panic.
Both brothers were above intermediate strength. It was not just that they could attack simultaneously; even if it were just one of them, it would likely be enough to give Ouyang Zixin a hard time.

Caught off guard, Ouyang Zixin stumbled back a few steps. However, at the same time, she reversed her wrist and concentrated Mysterious Energy in her palm before forcefully slapping it against the rock wall behind her. Using this momentum, she leaped behind Li Li.
