Looking at the Azure Barrier that enveloped the entire residence, Bu could sense the terrifying energy contained within this light shield. With such a level of energy condensed into the Azure Barrier, Bu believed that even if he used all his means, he would not be able to shake it in the slightest. 0

"This light shield surrounding the residence should have protective and concealing properties, right? Is this also provided by the academy for each student's residence?" Bu recalled seeing some buildings covered by a similar light shield on the way and couldn't help but ask. 0

Sean Sterling chuckled softly and shook his head. "This is not something provided by the academy. The Gentle Breeze Formation I have is a top-tier Intermediate formation that I spent a fortune to have an Alchemist Master in the academy help me refine. Ordinary students do not have that much money to spend on this." 0

"Is this formation very expensive?" Following Sean Sterling into the courtyard, a storm of Earth Power more than twice as dense as outside swept through the yard. With such overwhelming Earth Power, the energy molecules within seemed to possess a kind of spirituality, rushing wildly into the Human Body. Cultivating in such an environment for just one day was equivalent to practicing with a Fifth-Grade Azure Jade for three days. 0

"It's not just expensive; it's more complicated than that. An Alchemist Master holds a prestigious status and generally does not easily refine alchemical items for others. My Gentle Breeze Formation was obtained only after I exerted considerable effort and completed a task assigned by an Alchemist Master, after which I offered a substantial reward." 0

Sean Sterling spoke with a hint of nostalgia as he led Bu and Reynold around the house. 0

"Are there very few Alchemist Masters in our academy? Why do they all act so high and mighty? After completing their tasks, you still have to pay them to refine items for students; it's practically exploitation." Bu pouted, feeling quite unimpressed by the seemingly vampiric nature of the Alchemist Masters. 0

Reynold shot Bu a disdainful glance and sighed, choosing not to respond. 0

Sean Sterling laughed lightly. "Do you think there are many who can be called Alchemist Masters? At least an Alchemist must reach Intermediate level or above to deserve that title. 0

An Alchemist Master holds a status comparable to that of a High-Level Giant. Even without any personal strength, they can earn respect from others. There are hundreds of Alchemists in the academy, but only three Alchemist Masters. One of them is the master of alchemy we just met, Van Lao." 0

"Van Lao?" Bu's eyes lit up. Upon seeing Sean Sterling's half-smiling expression, he immediately understood why the other had previously agreed to let him join the Primordial Hall. 0

"Van Lao is not only an Alchemist Master, but his strength has also reached the peak of High-Level 8. Among many elders in my Holy Light Academy, his words carry significant weight. However, very few students have the courage to approach him, even though Van Lao has recruited students from the academy multiple times to assist him as alchemy apprentices." 0

"Why is that? Is that old man bisexual? Do students who go there end up suffering?" 0

"Cough cough," Sean Sterling felt frustrated, realizing he shouldn't have talked with Bu. The thoughts in his head were quite peculiar, and his leaps in logic were too great; his imagination was truly rich. 0

"Once you enter the Primordial Hall, you'll find out more about it. For now, let me take you to choose your accommodations," Sean Sterling thought it best to keep the conversation minimal with someone who wasn't very talkative. He then led the way out of his residence. 0

Before long, under Sean Sterling's guidance, Bu and Reynold quickly selected their residences within the academy. 0

Bu chose a large classical mansion, while Reynold opted for a stone palace. Their residences were not far apart, separated by a winding river, making them neighbors across the water. This area was somewhat remote but boasted beautiful scenery and an elegant environment. It was also conveniently located not too far from Sean Sterling's residence, facilitating visits between them. 0

After settling in, Sean Sterling took the time to explain some important matters to the two regarding Holy Light Academy. Once he confirmed that nothing significant was overlooked, he left on his own. 0

Watching Sean Sterling's departing figure, Bu understood well what he was going to do. Although Sean always appeared calm and collected, the reality of the situation was likely not so optimistic. 0

After all, the Judgment Hall of Holy Light Academy was no place for leniency. If what happened in Crook Duchy were to be exaggerated by those with ulterior motives, some form of punishment would be inevitable. 0

"Fortunately, Senior Sean has already broken through to Quasi-Advanced strength. The academy will likely assess his overall potential much higher now, so he shouldn't face too severe a punishment. It's that scheming Beck behind the scenes who I want to teach a lesson about how to behave if I get the chance," Bu Leng scoffed, having completely lost his patience with Beck's constant provocations. 0

"In a month, there will be the Path of Holy Light trial. I need to make full use of the academy's resources to enhance my strength during this month. I'll have Red Lotus absorb and refine all remaining Azure Jade into energy. As for the Honor Points accumulated in the Iron Xuan Token, it's better to use them for self-improvement than to hold onto them. I can also trade some to Reynold so he can level up faster." 0

After pondering for a moment without hesitation, Bu engaged in conversation with Reynold and successfully traded one hundred Honor Points after Reynold initially declined. 0

"Let's go; we should bring our fellow friends over here. The more people we have, the livelier it will be," Bu decided that it would be best to gather Wendy and the others who were still settling outside since they were newcomers and might encounter unexpected situations without proper arrangements. 0

Retracing their steps, both Bu and Reynold had excellent memories and navigated their way out of Holy Light Academy, heading straight for Cypress Inn, which Elena had mentioned earlier. 0

Cypress Inn was arguably the most famous inn outside Holy Light Academy. Its scale and quality surpassed even five-star hotels from Bu's previous life by many times; it spanned two entire streets in area. The luxurious carriages parked outside were more extravagant than the last, and the stable servants were well-dressed and capable. 0

To occupy such a large area within one of the few territories around Holy Light Academy indicated that Cypress Inn had considerable backing; it was likely supported by some Major Forces as a place for gathering intelligence. 0

"Wow, it looks really high-end and classy, much better than the place we chose at the academy," Bu pouted and turned to Reynold, saying, "Let's go to Violet No. 9 Manor. I hope Senior Elena arranged a place that isn't too hard to find." 0

"With such a big hotel, they must have someone to guide us. Are you worried about not finding it?" Reynold rolled his eyes and took the lead toward the hotel entrance. 0

"True," Bu mumbled and quickened his pace to catch up. 0

As they reached the entrance, before they could step inside, they heard a commotion filled with loud arguments, one voice sounding particularly familiar. 0

"Ivan?" Bu Mei frowned and hurried inside to take a look. 0

A sharp sound echoed through the air. 0

What unfolded before Bu Shuang's eyes was infuriating: a tall man with short hair had just slapped Ivan hard across the face. The force of the slap sent Ivan's thin body flying, leaving him no time to react. 0

Anger, pure rage! 0

Bu's eyes flared with fury; he didn't even want to ask what had happened. His entire body felt electrified as he activated Thunderous, and with Step Nine, he lunged forward like a hungry tiger pouncing on its prey. His hands glimmered darkly as he struck down at the tall man who had sensed danger and turned around. 0

"Dare to ambush me?" The tall man sneered. Despite sensing Bu's fierce attack, he remained unfazed and stepped forward to throw a punch. 0

A tremendous force surged forth; his punch exploded like cannon fire, causing the air to crackle loudly. The crowd around them quickly scattered. 0

"Hmph." Bu's gaze was icy. Once he made his move, he wouldn't give his opponent any chance to resist; it was already decided as soon as he struck. 0

The Destruction Set's skills fully activated, granting him overwhelming strength that could crush even a mountain into dust. 0

"Boom!!" 0

The sound of fists colliding echoed loudly, and a terrifying shockwave spread out in all directions from the point of their energy clash. The stone tiles on the ground were swept away like fallen leaves in a fierce wind, flying into the air like scraps of paper amidst a series of rapid clattering sounds. The surrounding crowd retreated once more, while only a few powerful individuals waved their hands to dispel the remnants of the battle. 0

"What?" The tall man sensed something was wrong the moment they engaged. By the time he reacted, it was too late; he felt an overwhelming force descending upon him like a collapsing mountain after the energy impact. 0

With no ability to defend himself, he was struck back by a violent palm that sent his punch crashing away, like a giant axe cleaving through the air, accompanied by a fierce wave of energy that slammed into the tall man's chest. 0

Crack! 0

The tall man's eyes bulged as a jet of blood erupted from his mouth. His body flew backward like a cannonball, crashing into the sturdy wall at the front of the hall with a loud bang. The wall trembled, and dark cracks resembling centipedes appeared, while dust and debris fell from the ceiling. 0

"Kathy!" A woman's startled scream rang out from the chaotic crowd, and several furious gazes locked onto Step. 0

At this moment, the tall man who had been blasted away by Step fell to the ground with a thud after being embedded in the wall, spitting out more blood. 0

"Master." Out of nowhere, Locke appeared, supporting Ivan as they approached Step, his face showing a mix of anger and satisfaction from revenge. 0

"What happened?" Step glanced at several unfamiliar individuals surrounding him with hostile expressions and coldly smiled at Locke. 0
