The most regrettable secret of the arrogant and overbearing Ocean Young Lord is that he has a human mother who is despised by the entire ocean.

At the entrance of the Forbidden Library, Victor was breathing heavily, his fingertips still trembling.

Thinking of this made cold sweat and fear rise on his back.
Victor's eyes were terrifyingly red as he reached out to grip her neck and slammed her against the stone wall.
"Did you find what you were looking for?" Xia Yangyang turned her face away, struggling but to no avail.
"Let me see what you've done." He raised his palm, and the shards on the ground floated up, coalescing into a complete red crystal, the very one she had just seen.
Victor smiled bitterly. "Not only have you been plotting to escape from me, but you also want to take our son away."
Xia Yangyang's legs weakened under the weight of fear.
"What do you want to do? Let me tell you, it's impossible! I want you to sink into despair for eternity, giving birth to one child after another here."
Tentacles wrapped around Xia Yangyang's neck, and she lifted her head, tears of humiliation sliding down her cheeks.
"Your Majesty, the Land Diplomat has been waiting outside for a long time." It was only after Elder Turtle's fifth urging that Victor stepped out from behind the shell.
Hearing footsteps fade away, Xia Yangyang covered her mouth and started coughing, trembling as she rushed to the washstand.
Suddenly, a trembling childish voice came from behind her: "Is it because he bullied you that you don't want me?"
Xia Yangyang's body stiffened; she turned her flushed face to meet the shallow eyes staring at her from beneath the coral bed.
"Ian, how are you here?"
Did he hear everything that happened between her and Victor?
He heard it all, but he was only three years old. How could she explain this to him?
"He just hit you, hit you for a long time. Is that why you don't want me?" Ian repeated with a shiver.
Xia Yangyang breathed a sigh of relief; he thought Victor had hit her.
"No, of course not. I never wanted to abandon you." She tried to reach out to him, but Ian dodged away.
Ian's eyes grew redder: "Then why did you give birth to me and not raise me? Clownfish have mothers, Jellyfish have mothers, but I don't."
If she had not yet discovered the secret of separating the Heart of the Ocean, she would surely hold him tightly now, making up for all the apologies and missing love.
Her task was to bear children, but the child was the most innocent. Now that she was about to die, she did not know whether the maternal love she tried to offer at this moment was harming him or loving him.
Xia Yangyang's expression was complicated: "Ian, I am human, and all the creatures in the ocean hate humans."
Ian stared wide-eyed in disbelief, shouting at the top of his lungs: "Exactly! So I hate humans too, hate them all. The ones I hate the most are you."

After shouting this, he ran away without looking back.
Xia Yangyang sighed and was about to stand up when her peripheral vision suddenly caught a glimpse of something transparent.
Her brow furrowed as she pulled out a plastic bag from under the bed, which surprisingly contained familiar cookies, beef jerky, and small bread.
Seeing those items made Xia Yangyang's breath catch; she could no longer care about anything else and chased after Ian's departing figure.
