In the shadow of the tree hollow, Edric and Feren were pressed tightly together, their breath and heartbeat almost merging into one. Asra Lion prowled in the trees, every step, every leap, every roar making them feel an intangible judgment. Each movement carried savagery and threat, preventing them from relaxing for a moment. Asra Lion leaped among the leaves, muscles taut, eyes ablaze as if to consume everything in flames. 0

Its roar reverberated through the forest, causing leaves to scatter and grass to tremble. Every time its roar pierced the forest, Edric and Feren could feel the scythe of death passing over their heads. But as it gradually receded, their hearts also relaxed slightly. Only when its shadow completely disappeared among the dense leaves and tree trunks did their bodies feel a hint of relaxation for the first time. 0

The roar of the Asra Lion gradually dissipated in the depths of the forest, eventually disappearing without a trace. Its departure left them feeling an unprecedented sense of release, as if they had forcibly seized a lifeline from the hands of death. Edric and Feren almost simultaneously breathed a sigh of relief, but the fearful memories still lingered in their hearts like deep-seated nails. 0

They leaned against the cold wall of the tree hollow, feeling the intense throb of each heartbeat, as if reminding them of the terror they had just experienced. Their panting echoed in the tree hollow, each breath carrying a longing for life and a fear of death. The cold air filled their lungs, but it couldn't completely cool the fear and tension in their hot blood. 0

Edric looked up at the top of the tree hollow, his panting and heartbeat intertwining into a lament after the battle. His hands trembled involuntarily, and every breath seemed to remind him of the edge of life and death. Feren, on the other hand, slid down against the tree wall, his eyes still carrying traces of fear, but also a hint of relief. 0

In the dimness of the tree hollow, the sounds of their breathing and heartbeats lingered. As time passed, the tension in the environment slowly gave way to weariness. Feren occasionally stole glances at Edric beside him. Despite the evident fatigue and desolation, Feren could discern from his subtle movements and details that he was no ordinary person. His gaze, his posture, and his indomitable spirit all hinted at his extraordinary nature. 0

Edric is covered in many scars, as if he has experienced countless battles and hardships, but his eyes still shine with a certain firmness and confidence. Feren looks at his hands, which are covered with fatigue and dust on the surface, but cannot hide their strength and power. His knuckles are strong, and the muscles on his wrists show hard lines in the faint light, as if ready to show amazing strength at any time. 0

Feren's gaze lingers on Edric, as if trying to find some clues from every move he makes, but his curiosity is quickly broken by Edric's brief stare. Edric has long felt the young man's gaze beside him. He turns his head, apparently a little impatient. His eyes are sharp, but his voice carries some weariness and impatience, "What's the matter? What's so interesting?" There is a hint of vigilance and annoyance in his voice, making Feren feel a little embarrassed. 0

Feren quickly averted his gaze, appearing somewhat embarrassed. He tried to use words to ease the awkward atmosphere, but didn't know what to say. Meanwhile, Edric also seemed uninterested in further conversation. He closed his eyes again, trying to regain some strength during this brief moment of calm. Feren could only look out into the darkness outside the tree hollow, feeling an increasing curiosity about this mysterious figure. 0

In the silence, Edric began to calm down slightly, reflecting on the recent situation. He felt that he may have been too harsh in his behavior. He turned to look at Feren, seeing a young face filled with innocence and concern, rather than hostility. The worn-out clothes indicated a less than comfortable life, which made Edric feel a sense of apology in his heart. 0

He wanted to say something to break the awkward atmosphere, but he found himself at a loss for words. He was not good at speaking, especially in such a tense and life-threatening situation. He thought about finding some topics to ease the tension, but his mind was blank. 0

He turned his head, avoiding direct eye contact with the Feren, while pondering how to make the atmosphere less oppressive. He knew in his heart that they needed each other's trust and cooperation to survive in this hostile environment. 0

As time passed by, the atmosphere in the tree hollow seemed to grow heavier with each passing minute. Feren was no exception; he dared not speak for fear of angering the weathered man before him once again. He lowered his head, gazing at his own hands as his fingers absentmindedly traced circles on the ground, all the while pondering Edric's background and experiences. 0

Outside the tree hollow, the wind rustled the leaves, creating a soft, shushing sound. Inside, however, the two men remained in silence. Each held their own thoughts and confusion, yet neither could find the opportunity to break the silence. In this moment of quiet, they each tended to their wounds and contemplated, awaiting an unknown future. 0

After waiting in the tree hollow for some time, Feren became somewhat uneasy and wanted to leave the tree hollow to see the situation outside. Just as he was about to get up, he was angrily rebuked by Edric, "Fool, what do you want to do? Do you want to get us killed again? We have no idea if that Lion has left, and you want to go out and die!" 0
