The person named Jiang lived in Room 303 of Dormitory 4. The group quickly made their way to Dormitory 4, which was located behind Building 2. Upon arrival, they asked the administrator about the student since they didn't know the exact name. The administrator was an elderly man in his sixties, sitting inside with reading glasses on while looking at a newspaper.
"Excuse me, could you help us check if there is a student named Jiang living in Room 303?" Captain Xing leaned over the window and asked.
The old man took off his glasses and looked at Captain Xing, saying, "Who are you? You're not a student, are you?"
"I'm from the criminal police team, here to ask about a student."
"Alright, let me check for you."
He then pulled out a notebook and flipped through it. After a moment, he said, "There’s a student named Jin Gang. I don't know if that's who you're looking for."
Captain Xing smiled and said, "Thank you, sir. We'll go take a look."
After knocking on the door for quite some time, they finally heard a groggy voice respond.
When the door opened, they saw someone with messy hair yawning and mumbling, "Who are you looking for?"
"Is King Kong there?"
Since he only showed his head, they couldn't see his body; he probably wasn't wearing any clothes!
After hearing this, the person finally opened his eyes. His eyes were very small, comparable to Du Haitao's, and his face was full of flesh, making him look like a chubby guy.

After leaving the dormitory, they headed to the Pavilion. Recently, it seemed the school had suddenly developed a kind heart and installed a light in the Pavilion, making it so that those lovey-dovey couples were too shy to go inside and be sweet.
As soon as they arrived at the Pavilion, Captain Xing suddenly said, "You guys haven't eaten yet, right?"
The three nodded; they hadn't had a drop of water since noon, and just thinking about that corpse made them feel nauseous.

Despite feeling uncomfortable in their stomachs after everything that had happened, they were indeed hungry, so no one said anything and followed Captain Xing out of the campus.
The school locked its main gate at ten-thirty, and since it was only a little past eight, many students were still outside. They walked into a restaurant called Big Pot. Su Jin'er was entering this restaurant for the first time; she had always thought the name was too funny and assumed the food wouldn't be good, so she had never visited. However, Captain Xing said it was quite nice.
The group found a table in the corner and sat down. Captain Xing asked what dishes they wanted to order, and everyone unanimously agreed that any vegetarian dish would be fine.
After placing their orders, Captain Xing lit another cigarette but only held it without smoking. He casually asked, "What do you think about this case?"
"Jingang said Wang Fan left the internet café at four in the morning, while Zheng Kai said he hadn't returned to the dormitory for a whole day and night. So where did Wang Fan go during those hours? Figuring out where he went is key to solving the case," Jiang Jie replied.
Captain Xing nodded.
"Not necessarily; what if someone among them is lying?" Su Jin'er added.
"Right, we can't rule out that possibility," Captain Xing said with a smile.
"Also, they all mentioned that Wang Fan was in a bad mood yesterday. What was the reason for his bad mood? Who did he drink with before going online? These are all crucial points," Chu Feifan said while rubbing his nose.
"Yes, anything else?"
"Alright, Captain Xing, you've already thought of everything we could come up with. Why are you still asking us?" Zuo Yi said impatiently, tapping his fingers on the table.
"There are several cases involving Qin Yu, so she is a key figure. However, she refuses to admit anything. We can't draw any conclusions yet, so I want to ask Qin Yu again," Captain Xing replied without directly answering.
At that moment, the dishes they ordered arrived. The group, who had initially lost their appetite, found their stomachs rumbling at the delicious aroma.
Since everyone was hungry, they tacitly agreed not to bring up the case again and focused on their meal. By the time they finished eating, it was already nine o'clock.
As they walked out of the restaurant, Su Jin'er glanced back at the sign "Canteen Hotel" and smiled, saying, "The name isn't great, but the food tastes pretty good."
The others chuckled but remained silent.
To verify whether Jingang was lying, they went to the internet café called Speedy that he mentioned. Since internet cafés have surveillance cameras, they presented their identification and requested to review the footage.
The surveillance video showed that they entered the café around nine-thirty. They sat at a wall seat not far from the bar. During that time, both of them got up to buy cigarettes and snacks and visited the restroom a few times. At four-fifteen in the morning, Wang Fan spoke to Jingang about something before standing up and leaving the café. After that, he did not return, while Jingang remained in the café and also went to the restroom a few times. The surveillance footage confirmed that Jingang was not lying.
