Chen Haoxuan went out to buy vegetables. Vegetables are very common in the countryside, and basically every household has them. Chen Yina's family also has some, but they have eaten all of theirs. The soup made from vegetables tastes great and is very nutritious, so Chen Haoxuan wanted to buy some to cook with pig trotters for Chen Yina to drink. Boys are different from girls; girls tend to feel weak during their first time, so he wanted to prepare something nutritious for Chen Yina.
It is more convenient to buy things from acquaintances, so Chen Haoxuan went to Chen Xiumin's house. The door was closed, and he knocked on it, saying, "Is anyone there?"

Soon, Chen Xiumin's mother came out carrying a bag of vegetables. Judging by the size of the bag, it contained at least ten pounds of vegetables. She handed the bag to Chen Haoxuan with a smile and said, "Here, take this home! When you finish it, come back for more; we still have plenty!"
"Thank you, but you still need to accept this money. If you don't take it, I will feel embarrassed," Chen Haoxuan said as he took out a hundred yuan and handed it to her.
"I already told you these vegetables aren't worth anything! Just take it back; otherwise, I'll get angry!" Chen Xiumin's mother pretended to be angry. Chen Haoxuan returned to Chen Yina's house and handed the Vegetables and pig trotters to Li Ping, asking her to cook. Chen Feng replied unhappily, “I’m already 17! If this were ancient times, I would already have children.”
Feigning surprise, Chen Haoxuan joked, “Wow, so you’re a girl! No wonder I’ve always felt you were quite charming!”
“What nonsense are you talking about! How could I be a girl? I’m a boy!” Chen Feng retorted angrily.
“Well, you just said that if you lived in ancient times, you would have children. Doesn’t that mean you could get pregnant? Only women can get pregnant!” Chen Haoxuan teased.
“Brother Xuan, if you keep bullying me, I won’t talk to you anymore,” Chen Feng said, stomping his feet in frustration.
The locations of Chen Haoxuan's house and Chen Yina's house seemed to have an overly feminine influence, which made both of them appear quite feminine.
"Alright, alright! I'm not joking with you anymore." Chen Haoxuan said, wrapping his arm around Chen Feng's shoulder with a smile.
"Brother Xuan, can you tell me how you two made things happen yesterday?" Chen Feng asked curiously.

Hearing Chen Feng's words, Chen Yina immediately felt worried. She cared too much about Chen Haoxuan and was genuinely afraid he would be scared away as her brother suggested. Nervously, she explained to Chen Haoxuan, "Brother Xuan, I didn’t mean it like that. I just... I just don’t want you to tell anyone about our secret. Please don’t be angry, okay?"
Chen Haoxuan stepped forward and hugged Chen Yina, gently stroking her hair as he said softly, "You are my future wife; how could I be angry with you? Don’t worry, I’m not mad."
"Brother Xuan, you’re so nice," Chen Yina said, leaning against him with gratitude.
On the side, Chen Feng watched their warm interaction and felt goosebumps rising on his skin. He protested aloud, "Can you two go somewhere private to say those mushy things?"
