A pair of bright and beautiful eyes fixed intently on Chonglingzi, as if wanting to engrave him deep within her soul. After a long moment, Yin Yuwei clasped her pure white hands in front of her chest and began to form a seal.
The gestures were extremely slow and ancient, leaving the onlookers momentarily puzzled.
Yuan Zhenzi stared at those jade-like hands. Although she did not recognize the seal, being the closest, she suddenly felt Yin Yuwei's remaining Yin Power gathering towards her Dantian. At the same time, everyone instinctively retreated, forming a surrounding circle that tightly encased Yin Yuwei at the center of the Azure Lotus Platform.
Yin Yuwei slowly scanned the crowd with her beautiful eyes, a sorrowful smile like that of a weeping pear blossom gracing her lips. She softly said, "Don't worry. Since I've fallen into your hands, I never intended to survive. This is not a self-detonation of my Nascent Soul; I intend to forcibly disperse my power." Her hands continued to form the seal while her gaze turned once more to Chonglingzi in the sky, filled with unspoken emotions.
At this moment, everyone realized that Yin Yuwei and Chonglingzi indeed shared a secret bond!
Chonglingzi's brows were furrowed with sorrow and grief. Unable to contain himself any longer, he erupted into action, rapidly switching between seventeen or eighteen different movements, his figure flickering with incredible speed that even Tianqingzi and his companions could not intercept. In an instant, he broke through the encirclement and charged toward Yin Yuwei on the Lotus Platform.
Suddenly, a powerful force swung toward him; it was Yuan Zhenzi's Dripping Water Guanyin. It transformed into a long azure rope that coiled around Chonglingzi's arm like a spirit snake, instantly restraining him. A flash of sword light appeared as the renowned Azure Water sword from Azure Sky Palace was drawn. Without hesitation, Chonglingzi swung his sword toward Dripping Water Guanyin.
Yuan Zhenzi did not wish for them both to suffer defeat; Dripping Water Guanyin swiftly returned to her palm as she sternly called out, "Chonglingzi! You must think carefully! That Witch just stated you have no connection with her. It’s not too late for you to repent! Draw a clear line with her; if she chooses to end herself, you can still remain the leader of Azure Sky Palace! The choice between becoming a notorious sinner or continuing as the esteemed leader of Azure Sky Palace lies solely in your mind!"
Chonglingzi hesitated only slightly but continued his charge toward Yin Yuwei.
Yin Yuwei shouted fiercely, "Don't come any closer! I don't know you! The moment you abandoned me at Azure Sky Palace to pursue your path of cultivation, our bond was severed!"
She intensified her focus on her heart method, forming the seal even faster.
Chonglingzi cried out, "Yuwei, no! It was my fault back then; I am willing to give up my position as leader and forsake my cultivation just to live as an ordinary person with you for the rest of our lives. Heaven is my witness; I Zhou Yuling will never regret this..."
"Shut up!" The four members of Tianqingzi were furious; their faces flushed red as they unleashed their treasures toward Chonglingzi.
Chonglingzi seemed oblivious and charged straight toward the Lotus Platform. In a flash of blue light, he broke through the celestial barrier and stood beside Yin Yuwei.
Four beams of light from their treasures struck against the blue light surrounding the Lotus Platform. Yin Yuwei's body shook violently once more as she coughed up a mouthful of purple blood.
Yin Yuwei, seeing the dire situation, unexpectedly opened the protection of Extreme Treasure to let him in, while she herself took the hit.
"Yuwei, it's my fault. Please forgive me," Chonglingzi said urgently as he supported the spitting blood Yin Yuwei on the Lotus Platform.

Chonglingzi could hardly believe his eyes. His face turned pale as he covered his chest and cried out in anguish, "Yuwei, why are you doing this to me?!"
Yin Yuwei looked coldly at him. " Chonglingzi, you deceived me back then; now I will deceive you once. From now on, our ties are severed; we shall never meet again. And everyone else here, no need to take action; I will end my own life. After I die, this Celestial Artifact lotus will belong to whoever is fated to have it. This is not a possession of the Demon Sect, but something I obtained through a fortuitous encounter years ago. I hope whoever gets it will cherish it as I did."
With her hands hidden in her sleeves completing the final seal, Yin Yuwei's gaze lingered on Chonglingzi. A final trace of deep affection appeared in her eyes before with a loud bang, her entire body transformed into a shower of blood.
"Yuwei..." Chonglingzi cried out in despair as he watched the love of his life turn into blood rain. His heart was filled with unbearable pain as if it were being shredded by knives. He understood that Yin Yuwei had drawn this line in her final moments to save him; however, now that she was gone, did it still hold any meaning?
Tears that had not flowed for many years began to trickle down his face. With a heart like dead ash, Chonglingzi staggered to his feet and flew into the sky without looking back.
Below them, chaos erupted.
What Chonglingzi did not see was that after Yin Yuwei self-destructed, a tiny golden light shot into the Azure Lotus Platform, disappearing instantly. Then the platform suddenly shrank down into a blue light that attempted to escape from the gorge.
This was a Celestial Artifact!
Listening to Yin Yuwei's last words—that it was not a possession of the Demon Sect, but something she obtained through chance long ago—explained why it contained such extraordinary spirit energy that even the Xuan Yuan Flag could not break through it. Everyone present felt their eyes redden. The trio of Yuan Zhenzi, Yajiangzi, and Yin Zezi, along with four others including Tianqingzi, hesitated for only a moment before abandoning their pursuit of their leader and rushed after that shimmering blue light.
The Celestial Artifact was currently without a master, yet it moved with extraordinary agility, dodging left and right, flying higher and higher, seemingly about to break free from the encirclement.
Yuan Zhenzi shouted, " Yajiangzi, what are you waiting for? Quickly set up the Xuan Yuan Flag. If we catch it, your Zhao Zhen Sect will already have half the credit; the rest will depend on everyone's luck!"
Yajiangzi suddenly came to his senses, opened his mouth and spat out a small apricot-yellow flag that flew out and grew larger until it was firmly in Yajiangzi's hand.
Before he could seal off the space, at that moment, the blue light suddenly turned around quickly and headed back towards the Gorge. The next moment, everyone was shocked.
