Cave Full of Crystals
The flames burned brightly.
Li Hong opened his eyes, exhaling a breath of turbid air as he looked at the Heavenly Torch before him.
The Heavenly Torch appeared unchanged, still resembling a small, miniature fire dragon. However, Li Hong knew that things were different between them now. Their souls were tightly intertwined, sharing life and death together.
With a thought, in an instant, a Divine Dragon seemed to hatch and grow over thousands of years, as if he himself was the Divine Dragon and the Divine Dragon was him.
A profound feeling arose within him, and Li Hong instantly understood the current state of the Heavenly Torch.
The Heavenly Torch had been incubating its physical form for many years using the power of the Fate Dragon Pearl within Li Hong's Dantian Sea, and it had finally absorbed all the energy from the dragon pearl and was reborn. Its body started to carry other attributes—metal, wood, water, fire, and earth were all present. However, fire remained the most dominant element for now. Given time, it would surely achieve a balance of all five elements like Li Hong.
This represented a significant leap for the Divine Dragon clan. Divine Dragons are Heavenly Born Divine Beasts; as long as they do not die, they will naturally advance with time or through cultivation. However, throughout their lives, they only possess one elemental attribute. This limitation leads to a bottleneck in their cultivation. This bottleneck presents a tremendous challenge during the Transformation Tribulation—the ascension tribulation faced by divine beasts. Surviving this tribulation would result in their bodies being reforged into pure energy forms; at that point, a Divine Dragon would become a true Complete Elements Divine Dragon.
Currently, the Heavenly Torch had not yet faced its Transformation Tribulation, but its internal attributes had already begun to change. This indicated stronger powers ahead—a very good thing for the Heavenly Torch. It was also beneficial for Li Hong because when the time came for his tribulation to coincide with the Heavenly Torch's Transformation Tribulation, if the Heavenly Torch's power were too weak, they would both be obliterated together. Now that the Heavenly Torch had begun to embody all five elements, it not only meant a significant increase in strength but also that the intensity of their future tribulations would be lessened—essentially making it a win-win situation.

Stone chips flew everywhere as a clear dragon-shaped hole appeared in the wall!
Chuxiong stared in shock while Li Hong shouted, "Be gentler!"
Heavenly Torch spoke human words, "If that little one dares not listen to my brother's words, I'll squash you!" Another tail swung toward him.
Poor Black Abyss had just managed to pull himself out of the dragon-shaped hole in the wall when he saw Hokage flash by again and instinctively yelled, "Ancestor! I won't dare anymore! I'll listen; I promise I'll listen!"
"Listen?" Heavenly Torch stopped and glared at Black Abyss, who quickly nodded vigorously.
The scene looked extremely comical; at this moment, both Heavenly Torch and Black Abyss were in their smaller forms. Especially Heavenly Torch, who appeared even smaller than Black Abyss—both were just over a foot long. However, Li Hong knew not to underestimate Heavenly Torch; the smaller the Divine Dragon's form became, the more refined its power was. Nearly a hundred thousand years of experience had transformed Heavenly Torch into a dragon-shaped monster—a true powerhouse of heaven and earth. It was merely unfortunate that he had been tricked by Seasoned Master into guarding the Li Fire Formation for nearly twenty thousand years; it could be said that Heavenly Torch had truly suffered!
At that moment, Black Abyss raised its two little claws in front of its chest, pleading for mercy. Li Hong immediately felt a chill run down his spine; if they really fought, the cave would definitely collapse. This was the Kunlun Forbidden Zone, a place known for its extraordinary powers. With a flash of his figure, he sent a clone to leap between the two "people," shouting, "Stop arguing! We need to focus on the important matters!"
"Tsk tsk, your clone has trained quite well; I should give it a try someday," Heavenly Torch said, backing off while mumbling nonsensical words and returning to Li Hong's side.
Little Fei reluctantly reverted from her battle form back into a small golden silk cat.
Black Abyss had already settled down and flew to Chuxiong's head, saying, "Big guy, Ancestor Zong said we should cultivate together, so let's do it."
Chuxiong laughed heartily and gave Heavenly Torch a thumbs up. "You really know how to handle things!"
"You're too kind," Heavenly Torch replied proudly.
Li Hong retracted the Fire Wall as Chuxiong and Black Abyss jumped onto the high platform.
Moments later, a surge of spiritual light flowed into Chuxiong's Baihui point.
Li Hong watched from below alongside Heavenly Torch and Little Fei. He was initially worried because they needed to execute three hundred twenty-four spiritual incantations perfectly without any mistakes—a huge test for Chuxiong.
After thinking for a moment, Li Hong shook his body and four clones immediately flew out, standing at the four corners of the stone platform, ready to assist at any moment. As his body released the Void Flame Armor, it appeared even more formidable than Li Hong himself dressed in white brocade robes.
On the high platform, Chuxiong suddenly opened his eyes. His large hands were surprisingly nimble, fingers flying as he cast a series of spiritual seals, each glowing with golden patterns, which shot towards Black Abyss's body.
However, it gradually became apparent to everyone that Chuxiong was struggling. Casting the seals required not only hand gestures but also consumed a significant amount of spiritual energy and mental focus. Sweat began to bead on Chuxiong's forehead, and his movements slowed down bit by bit.
Finally, after completing three hundred twenty-four spiritual seals, Black Abyss displayed an expression of pain. Chuxiong on the high platform closed his eyes to adjust his breathing for a moment before starting the second step.
At that moment, Li Hong below the platform suddenly felt something was off. Taking a step back, he focused his mind, and a clone emerged from his body, followed by another one, and then another, until five clones had appeared. Along with the four below the platform, there were a total of nine.
But there were only nine! One had actually disappeared!
Li Hong was greatly alarmed. Seeing that Chuxiong and Black Abyss's joint effort was progressing smoothly, he quickly recalled all his clones and sat down to contemplate.
Now, the Dantian Sea space resembled a vast starry universe—deep, bewildering, and boundless. Yet within this space were objects; brightly colored innate fusion treasures spun slowly at the center like massive celestial bodies nurturing themselves. Lingyi, Five Elements Shuttle, Yue Que, Cosmic Bag, Eight Formation Flag, Divine Slaying Monument, as well as the newly acquired Heartless Shuttle and Yin Yang Platform all rotated autonomously in this space. The only thing missing was the Vermilion Bird Nine Li Blade.
Since obtaining it that night, this Celestial Artifact had undergone some change and had not appeared since. However, Li Hong was well aware that it resided within him. The Artifact Spirit seemed to possess immense sensitivity and was likely hiding away in sorrow for its previous master, unwilling to be used by its new owner. Li Hong did not force it.
Another item missing was the Fire Separation Pearl. However, it had been completely absorbed by Heavenly Torch; its absence was understandable.
Aside from that, there seemed to be no other changes. But one of the Ten Infants clones was indeed missing.
Li Hong had known since achieving Great Achievement of Guardian Infant that the Ten Infants had merged with his main body and would not appear in the Upper Dantian space. Nevertheless, now that one clone was missing, Li Hong instinctively searched the Upper Dantian space and found nothing unusual there.
So where could that remaining clone have gone?
Li Hong examined himself closely and suddenly noticed something strange in his heart.
The current heart is actually made of pure energy and essence, completely different from what a heart truly means. When Li Hong looked inward and reached this point, he discovered a small object quietly rotating in his heart chamber; it was the Vermilion Bird Nine Li Blade, which had been here all along.
Li Hong searched every inch of his body, and after completing the search, he finally confirmed one thing: that clone had inexplicably vanished without a trace, leaving no signs behind.
What a strange occurrence!
At that moment, suddenly his mind stirred, and Heavenly Torch transmitted a message: "Are you looking for me? Oddly enough, I'm right beside you. Why do I feel like you're searching for me? By the way, brother, why are you meditating with your eyes closed? Chuxiong is about to succeed!"
With a flash of insight, Li Hong realized that the last clone had actually merged with Heavenly Torch!
This meant that after their fusion, Heavenly Torch had absorbed a part of his essence—one-tenth of his cultivation level—and a fragment of his soul. But how did he remain completely unaware? Did Heavenly Torch not notice either? Moreover, Li Hong was certain that his cultivation had not diminished at all.
Something mysterious must have occurred that was beyond his current understanding of cultivation.
However, since he discovered that the missing clone had merged with Heavenly Torch, Li Hong felt relieved.
He stood up just as Chuxiong exhaled a long breath and slowly opened his eyes, tired yet satisfied as he said, "I did not fail; it worked!"
