Desperate, Li Hong exerted all his strength to fly towards Luliang. As he was flying, he noticed a large group moving swiftly northward through the clouds. The closer they flew to Luliang, the more powerful presences they encountered on the Cloud Path. Along the way, Li Hong met several groups of Beast Cultivator Elders. They were gathered in threes and fives, all claiming to have received an urgent distress signal from Ling Xuzi. Upon encountering Li Hong, they eagerly suggested entering the great formation to fight first.
The atmosphere was charged with urgency as they approached Luliang. From the north and east-west directions came several powerful presences.
Moments later, three major sect reinforcements appeared on the Cloud Path led by Kunlun Sect Master Xuan Xuzi, Kongtong Baijuzi, and Xuanwei Anqizi. From the west came Emei Yiyangzi along with thousands of Nine-Tailed Celestial Foxes led by Shooting Jade and her elder brother Du Yizi. In the east was a reinforcement army led by Yin Zezi from Penglai.
The sound of rushing wind filled the air as Chonglingzi and others from Azure Sky Palace arrived alongside Yuan Zhenzi and his New Luo Sect experts.
Before Li Hong could exchange greetings, a figure stepped out from behind Yuan Zhenzi. Dressed in a blue robe with long hair flowing freely, she was none other than Green Lotus.
Green Lotus stepped forward and bowed gracefully, her beautiful eyes fixed on Li Hong as she softly said, "Brother Yi, do not worry. I have informed Father; he is bringing Jingwei's army here. With so many of us together, we will surely drive the Demon Sect monsters out of Nine Li Cave Heaven."
"Exactly! Let's eliminate all demons!" The crowd was fired up with righteous indignation as they turned their eager eyes toward Li Hong.
Li Hong looked deeply at Green Lotus, feeling moved. He lifted the hem of his Fire Rat Robe and knelt on the Cloud Path, loudly proclaiming, "Thank you all for coming to assist my Nine Li Sect!"
A clear voice rang out as Sect Master Xuan Xuzi said, "Chu Hongzi needs not say more; let us hurry inside!"
"Yes!"
In the Lu Liang Mountain area, there were still a few lookout members of the Demon Sect Monster, but they were quickly eliminated in the face of the overwhelming reinforcements from the Immortal Sect. Li Hong led everyone straight to the South Mountain Exit, which was relatively open and concealed.

She floated gracefully in the air against the wind, her arms crossed over her chest, her figure standing still as if the flames emanating from her body were ethereal. A strange and powerful force slowly radiated from deep within her body, so strong that everyone felt deep terror and became silent.
She lowered her head; on her jade-white forehead bloomed a radiant Crystal Blue Lotus, while her autumn-like eyes had turned a deep shimmering blue.
Those clear blue eyes gazed across mountains and rivers directly into Li Hong's heart lake.
His mind exploded with realization. "Chu Xi!" Li Hong shouted as he rushed towards Chu Xi.
Someone tightly grabbed Li Hong's arm, and despite struggling twice, Li Hong couldn't break free.
"Don't go over there, something's not right. It seems to be Tribulation. It's really Tribulation!" Du Yizi exclaimed in fear, holding onto Li Hong's arm tightly.
"No, let go of me! Chu Xi, I'm coming! Wait for me!" Li Hong turned back and glared at Du Yizi. "Let go! Or I won't be polite!"
At that moment, an abnormal phenomenon suddenly occurred.
The sky above Nine Li Cave Heaven, which had been a clear blue, suddenly transformed as strange lotus-shaped dark clouds appeared in neat circles. The clouds became increasingly distinct, with golden edges emerging from the bottom of each cloud, changing color as the gold expanded and deepened. In just a moment, the dark clouds turned into blood-red ominous clouds.
A powerful force that instilled deep fear in everyone began to emanate from the blood-red clouds. The ominous clouds rapidly compressed from a hundred-mile radius into a smaller area, layer by layer tightening. Moments later, it shrank to just ten miles wide and continued to contract, revealing a shining circular gap at its center that emitted a strange white light, resembling an eerie large eye staring at Chu Xi.
Chu Xi, engulfed in flames, was slowly rising towards the Calamity Cloud Eye.

A wild and frenzied shout echoed through the sky as a humanoid black mist surged upward like a whirlwind, heading straight for Chu Xi at the center of the Calamity Cloud.
Among the reinforcements of the Immortal Sect, many gasps of surprise erupted: "Yandao Demon Lord! It's really him; he actually led the charge against Nine Li Sect himself!"
However, Yandao acted like a madman, completely ignoring Xuan Xuzi and others on this side. He soared upward directly towards Chu Xi at the center of the Calamity Cloud Eye.
At the same time, Li Hong finally broke free from Du Yizi's grasp and flew up recklessly towards Chu Xi, with only that red figure in his heart and eyes!

On the other side, the Azure Guardian intervened to stop the Yandao Demon Lord.
At this point, the two factions of immortals and demons had ceased fighting, and everyone stared blankly at the sky.
No one had ascended in Three Thousand Years, yet at this moment, while the Demon Sect was attacking the Nine Li Sect, someone triggered a Tribulation!
An event that had not been seen in Three Thousand Years was about to unfold right before their eyes.

The Nine Separation Technique was the ultimate skill of Nine Li Sect's Mutual Destruction, sacrificing the practitioner’s entire Innate Vital Blood and soul to exchange for a tenfold or even hundredfold increase in power. With a single strike, it could annihilate everything, used to eliminate enemies that were otherwise impossible to defeat. Afterward, that person would vanish completely, their soul imprint disappearing as well, never to be reincarnated.
The moment Chu Xi used the Nine Separation Technique, Ling Xuzi sensed it and was overwhelmed with grief.

He pondered for a moment. "If that's the case, then this girl must have encountered some unforeseen circumstances; something must have happened before."
From a distance, he saw Li Hong, devastated and disregarding Du Yizi and Xuan Xuzi's attempts to dissuade him as he charged toward the sky.
"Who is that young man?" Yandao asked.
Li Xiaolou's eyes flashed with a fierce red light as he coldly replied, "He is Chu Hong."
So he is Chu Hongzi. As Yandao contemplated this further, a thought emerged. It must be related to Chu Hongzi! Everything must connect back to him; he had to capture him. Moreover… Yandao sneered inwardly at the presence of the Divine Slaying Monument! No matter how well he concealed it, he could not hide it from himself!
In the sky, the presence of Calamity Cloud grew stronger. Chu Xi stopped ascending and quietly hovered three zhang below the center of Calamity Cloud Eye. The blue light on her forehead became increasingly bright, and her entire body seemed to be enveloped in a layer of dazzling blue crystal, while the flames around her gradually diminished.

The crowd below shook their heads in sorrow, many unable to hold back their tears.
Green Lotus wept profusely. At that moment, she finally understood Chu Xi's place in Li Hong's heart and realized that Chu Xi was the one he loved most. However, they were likely about to be separated forever. Kind-hearted Green Lotus felt deep sorrow for both Li Hong and Chu Xi.
This was true Tribulation. She did not know what had caused it for Chu Xi, but now Calamity Cloud had already locked onto her. If she could not withstand it, there would only be one outcome for Chu Xi: death.
Chu Xi simply could not endure; she only had late-stage Transmutation cultivation.
With tear-filled eyes, Green Lotus watched the red figure in the sky, observing as Li Hong flew toward Chu Xi again and again, only to be thrown back each time. She witnessed Li Hong's anguished screams.
Her heart was deeply shaken.
