Upon hearing this, a thought suddenly flashed through Ling Yi Zi's mind regarding what Li Hong had said. He couldn't help but ask, "Is this particular Dark Hall the stronghold of Yandao Demon Lord, personally overseen by him?"
"I believe so. In fact, you should have heard about that place long ago; it is known as ‘Fengdu Ghost City’," replied Xuan Xuzi leisurely.
Fengdu Ghost City! It was right at the doorstep of Emei! A glint flashed in Ling Xuzi's eyes as he looked at Ling Yi Zi, feeling quite annoyed at his unnecessary question. Li Hong felt a deep sense of regret; he truly did not know if what he did was right. He had intended to protect Beast Cultivation but did not realize that Xuan Xuzi was not interested in that at all—he had come to invite Yun Jiuzi to battle. After all his calculations, he had fallen into Xuan Xuzi's trap.
In Xuan Xuzi's mind, having one Yun Jiuzi was certainly more reliable than two or three dozen Nascent Soul Stage Beast Cultivator Elders.
However, Fengdu Ghost City... Li Hong's heart sank; that place was not a good location. Would Yun Jiuzi really confront Yandao Demon Lord? If a fight broke out, who would win between him and Yandao Demon Lord?
