Qin Protector grew somewhat impatient and finally communicated through Vital Energy, "Elder, are we not going to take action?"
"Not yet! Wait a moment! Perhaps we can learn about the recent movements of the Heavenly Mechanism Sect from this disciple. I am very curious if those major Sects have received my Letter!" Elder Yang said cryptically, his eyes flashing with an increasingly strange light.
Upon hearing this, Qin Protector rarely calmed down. This matter concerned whether their Evil Cult could see the light of day again. Back then, under the siege of various Sects, the Evil Cult had essentially become a name without substance. The more than twenty disciples present were already their most core members!
On the outskirts of the Underground Palace, there were probably another hundred of their disciples. However, with a total of fewer than a thousand members, the Evil Cult could no longer become the feared demonic sect it once was!
Because of this, they had no choice but to rely on the demonic beings here. Although it was shameful to be manipulated by the monsters of the demonic race, at least it provided them with some chance of survival!
"Senior Yang, right? Actually, I have a few questions I would like to ask for your guidance. May I inquire if you could share?" Ye Feng finally seized the opportunity to ask after being questioned extensively.
Elder Yang was slightly taken aback but smiled kindly and said, "Young friend, feel free to ask any questions you have!"
Ye Feng nodded slightly and revealed a look of curiosity as he asked, "I am quite curious about which Sect you hail from. Seeing that you have brought so many disciples with you, you must be from a significant sect!"
Though his words were not explicit, they struck home effectively!
After hearing this, Elder Yang's expression changed instantly, and those around him from the Evil Cult also darkened. With just a glance from the elder, they would be ready to act at any moment!
However, Elder Yang did not tear his face over this matter. Instead, he pondered for a moment before slowly saying, "You don't need to worry about this, my friend. I and these disciples do not come from any major Sect. To mention it would not be of any interest to you, so let's not bring it up!"
"Oh? Is it possible that you are not from the Sky Abyss Empire?" Ye Feng asked, stretching out his tone in surprise, seemingly unwilling to give up on this question!
Elder Yang immediately darkened his expression, his sinister gaze fixed on Ye Feng, as if trying to discern whether this kid was being intentional or if there was something else at play! "Hehe, why must you be so fixated on this question? I believe you might not be interested in knowing, just like your companion Brother Shi here, who has been rather silent since the beginning!" Elder Yang shifted the topic and directed the suspicion towards the Flying Spirit Lion.
Ye Feng was slightly taken aback and sighed inwardly. Given the current trend of development, it was impossible for the Flying Spirit Lion's nature to go unnoticed!
However, he was indeed very eager to know which force these individuals belonged to since they were certainly not Trial Disciples. Could it be that this Underground Palace was involved with other Sects? Unfortunately, these people before him did not seem like righteous individuals at all!

The scout looked fearful and timid; clearly terrified after spotting that group. This was understandable since among them, the strongest was only Elder Yang at the peak of mid Gangwu Realm, which would be utterly insignificant against Martial Saints.
Otherwise, they wouldn't have been controlled by the demonic race's Black Face and Bailuo for so many years!
"I can confirm without a doubt! However, I also discovered another person! No, he is not human!" The scout replied tremulously.
This revelation left Elder Yang even more astonished as he hurriedly asked, "Who?"
"Yes, yes, Lord Black Face! Lord Black Face is following that traveler. I saw him give me a signal from behind!" The whistleblower said this with a sigh of relief.
As soon as these words were spoken, Elder Yang's expression changed repeatedly. The Qin Protector also said worriedly, "Elder, this is not good! Since Black Face is watching them, we should quickly take a detour!"
"No! Since Black Face has discovered our whistleblower, he must know we are nearby. He is definitely preparing to take action against that traveler. Do you think he signaled our whistleblower for no reason? He wants us to help!" Elder Yang said maliciously.
