The arrow that had just been shot was actually fired by Li Xin, who inadvertently caused trouble despite his good intentions. Luzi's original aim was to extinguish the burning flame, hoping to find someone to help investigate what it was. Now, however, there was nothing left—no evidence at all!

Just as he planned to jump down from the wall to see what had happened to Luzi, he was suddenly knocked back by a loud thunderclap.
Sun Thirteen and Xiao Yu'er had been on the street; due to the wall's obstruction, they were not affected in terms of hearing. As Thirteenth Brother had said earlier, there was quite a commotion in the middle of the night. Xiao Yu'er quickly gestured for Luzi and Li Xin, who were temporarily deafened, to quiet down.
Luzi, having experienced it once before, immediately understood that his ears were once again unable to hear. He hurriedly gestured to Li Xin, signaling for silence and to wait a moment while controlling his breathing rhythm.

The four of them then jumped into the burning courtyard, where Xiao Yu'er gestured for them to wait a moment. He then found a spot on the ground to crouch down and used the firelight to examine the blackened snow mud. The air was thick with the smell of burnt wood, mingled with a hint of charred fragrance.
Luzi, hidden behind a tree, surely had not seen anything, and among the four, only Li Xin might have caught a glimpse of the target's back earlier. After confirming, Xiao Yu'er stood up and looked at Li Xin, asking, "Which direction did the target escape?"
Li Xin pointed towards the eastern part of the city and said, "I can only confirm this direction for now; beyond that, I don't know!"
Xiao Yu'er nodded and softly said, "Follow me!"
Luzi, who had initially planned to give up due to the time wasted, reconsidered. If the target had taken advantage of the chaos to escape the city, they might have already gotten away. However, seeing that Xiao Yu'er had a clear target now, he quickly followed suit.
The Qin Army's supply reserves in Wild King City were mostly located in the western and northern parts of the city. At this moment, fires raged in the western and northern areas while the eastern and southern parts remained untouched. In contrast, those areas appeared unusually quiet. Additionally, most people had rushed to the northwest of the city to extinguish fires, leaving the streets devoid of any signs of life.
Tonight's wind blew from the south, preventing the flames and burnt odors from reaching them. A cluster of dry yellow leaves fluttered down onto the slick road, immediately sticking to the ground.
