Jonas stepped out of the basement, and as he emerged from the Beyond Technology building, a rush of fresh air greeted him. The bright sunlight spilled onto his face, causing him to squint momentarily. He stood at the entrance, looking up at the towering structure before shifting his gaze to the bustling crowd on the street. At that moment, Jonas truly realized he had left behind the cold, oppressive underground world and returned to the vibrant surface. 0

He couldn't help but shiver, not from the chill in the air, but from a lingering shadow deep within him. The heavy pressure of the basement seemed to cling to his heart, preventing him from fully relaxing. Jonas took a deep breath, trying to cast aside those unsettling thoughts, but the details of the Light Activation Project mission kept swirling in his mind. 0

Standing on the street, he observed the people around him—some hurried along while others strolled leisurely, as if this world remained unchanged and normal. However, Jonas's inner turmoil could not resonate with this calm facade. He knew that the mission he was about to undertake was far from ordinary, and that this world's future might very well hinge on this action. 0

As he contemplated the upcoming adventure, Jonas felt an inexplicable pressure weighing down on him. He understood that Beyond Technology had taken full responsibility for the equipment and transportation arrangements for this operation, which eased some of his burden; at least he wouldn't have to worry about logistical details. Yet, as the team leader and security officer, he was acutely aware of his significant responsibilities. Every step of this mission would require his guidance and assurance to ensure the safety of all members while searching for crucial clues in that unknown jungle. 0

Jonas silently calculated that this mission would undoubtedly be challenging. The depths of that jungle concealed too many unsolved mysteries, and he and his team would have to delve into it, facing various potential dangers. Although he had experienced countless life-and-death situations on battlefields before, this challenge felt different; it was a journey against the unknown, filled with unpredictable variables. 0

He looked again at the busy street, where the apparent tranquility starkly contrasted with his inner turmoil. Jonas knew that his life was about to enter a new phase; this operation would not only test his professional abilities but also force him to confront the dark truths hidden deep within the world. Regardless of the outcome, he would lead this expedition team into unknown challenges and seek out the truth in that jungle. 0

Sitting on the tram, the slight vibrations of the carriage made him lean back against his seat. The cityscape outside rushed by in a blur, but his attention was entirely focused on the tablet in his hands. He gently swiped across the screen, carefully reviewing the profiles of the Light Activation Project expedition team members, scrutinizing each one who would accompany him into the South American jungle. 0

First was Isabella, a core figure in this project—calm and full of wisdom. Jonas had no doubt about her capabilities; however, her cool demeanor created an elusive distance. He knew she was not only an exceptional scientist but also a leader who prioritized the success of their mission above all else. 0

Next was Mocus Black, an expert in ancient civilizations. Jonas recalled Mocus adjusting his glasses in the conference room as he passionately recounted legends about the Black Rope Deity. This man's knowledge would undoubtedly be a vital resource for exploring the jungle; yet there was something unsettling about him—a sense of being lost in ancient tales. 0

Then there was Raymond Beck, Jonas's old comrade who would serve as logistics and security for this mission. Jonas had absolute trust in Raymond's abilities; years of fighting side by side had forged an unspoken bond between them. Raymond's presence undoubtedly provided him with peace of mind. 0

The next profile displayed Allison Novak, their accompanying doctor. Jonas remembered her as a somewhat shy woman with a red cross embroidered on her shoulder—a professional with battlefield medical experience. Though she appeared slightly nervous, her calmness and professionalism in critical moments would undoubtedly play a crucial role during their operation. 0

Finally, Jonas's gaze lingered on Samuel Brooks's profile. Samuel was their technology and communications expert—the young man who had seemed focused on his tablet during their meeting. Jonas noted Samuel's youthful features; however, that did not diminish his trust in Samuel's professional skills. Samuel's youthfulness and technical acuity would play an important role in this mission, especially in such an endeavor filled with unknowns and challenges. 0

Jonas slowly flipped through the documents, his mind beginning to calculate the abilities and potential of each member. These individuals would become his companions in the upcoming expedition, each with a diverse professional background, yet all bearing the significant responsibility of the Light Activation Project. Although everyone excelled in their respective fields, the success of this mission would depend on their ability to work closely together in times of crisis and unleash their maximum potential. 0

Upon returning home, as he closed the door behind him, he felt a long-lost tranquility enveloping him. The air in the room carried a slightly stale scent, but it brought him a sense of familiarity and comfort. Jonas kicked off his shoes, casually tossed his bag onto the nearby sofa, and walked over to his desk to open his laptop. 0

Once seated, he began typing rapidly on the keyboard, searching for any information related to this mission. He entered keywords like "Depachisoto," "Black Rope Deity," and "South American Cave," hoping to unearth some useful insights from the vast expanse of online data. However, the search results on the screen left him disappointed. No matter how he altered his phrasing or search strategies, the displayed content was completely irrelevant, far removed from what he had anticipated. 0

With each search, he was met with mundane travel guides, inconsequential academic papers, or outdated geographical descriptions, as if the place known as "Depachisoto" and the legend of the "Black Rope Deity" had left no trace in the digital world. Jonas furrowed his brow, a wave of intense unease rising within him. He tried more keyword combinations and even attempted to access specialized academic databases, yet all his efforts yielded nothing, as if this information had vanished entirely into the vast ocean of the internet. 0

His fingers paused on the keyboard as his frown deepened. This eerie silence made him feel that things were far more complicated than they appeared. He couldn't help but wonder if this was a deliberate act by someone—perhaps the government? Or certain individuals with ulterior motives? He couldn't be sure, but this lack of information was clearly not coincidental. He began to realize that he and his teammates might be stepping into a perilous territory that had been intentionally concealed. 0

As questions multiplied in his mind, Jonas stared at the blank search results on his computer screen, an unsettling tide rising within him. What truths lay hidden behind their impending mission? The seemingly ordinary jungle and that mysterious cave might be darker and more unpredictable than they could ever imagine. 0

He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself, but that sense of unease clung to him like a shadow. He knew that he and his team were gradually sinking into an unknown quagmire, and no one could provide answers about how deep or dangerous it truly was. The only thing left to do was to give it their all and prepare for every challenge that lay ahead. 0
