On the top floor of a building deep in the mountains, Eternity sat on a leather sofa sipping red wine, looking extremely relaxed, seemingly unconcerned about what his fate might be.
It wasn't that Eternity didn't worry; rather, he had lived too long and his perspective on things had changed too much. He wouldn't fret over what might happen in the next moment because he knew very well that worrying was unnecessary; what was meant to happen would inevitably come.
Yet there was a hint of regret in his eyes. If he hadn't underestimated Mo Ming back then and had taken action to eliminate him sooner, perhaps today’s events wouldn’t have unfolded as they did. Ultimately, it came down to his own arrogance.
“Lord Eternity, someone is coming up,” said a stoic-looking white man, glancing at the elevator's floor indicator and immediately becoming alert.
Eternity took a sip of his wine and replied lightly, “What’s there to be nervous about? Things have already developed to this point; what is meant to happen will happen. Why worry so much?”
“Yes,” the white man responded.
Despite this, six Foreigner members all aimed their guns at the elevator door. As soon as someone stepped out of the elevator, their weapons would demonstrate what it meant to behave oneself. If anyone dared to act recklessly, the bullets would show no mercy.
The elevator doors slowly opened, and Yi Yu stepped out.
“Brother… it’s you. Heh, I didn’t expect that after so many years, you still wanted to find me. What’s this? Do you still want to kill me?” Upon seeing the newcomer, Eternity was taken aback but quickly stood up and grinned savagely. “But you’re all alone. In other circumstances, I might feel afraid, but now you’re just one person. Can you dodge all those bullets?”
“Eternity, no, I should call you Ling Feng. It’s been so many years since we last met, and you’re already aiming so many guns at me?” Yi Yu walked over with an expression of calmness.
“Stop!” a black man commanded.
Eternity’s face showed anger as he shouted, “Get lost! Who allowed you to speak to my brother like that?”
The black man immediately dared not say another word.
“Heh, you’re still the same as before, not changing at all. You still like getting angry, enjoy red wine, and love military uniforms. You still can’t forget your past identity, can you, Ling Feng?” Yi Yu sat down on the sofa and poured himself a glass of red wine.
“Indeed, as one grows older, one tends to reminisce about the past,” Eternity sighed.
“Have you ever regretted anything?” Yi Yu asked after taking a sip of red wine while staring into Eternity’s eyes. Just after he asked, he noticed a flicker of regret in Eternity’s gaze.
“I have regretted,” Eternity admitted honestly. “But there are many kinds of medicine in this world, yet there is no such thing as regret medicine. I have been searching for two kinds of medicine: one is the Eternal Life potion and the other is regret medicine. I have obtained the Eternal Life potion but can never acquire the medicine for regret.”
"This is the choice you have; there is only one option. If you make a mistake, it's a mistake, and there will never be a chance to start over," Yi Yu thought of Eternity's actions, a flicker of anger rising within him, but it quickly dissipated.
"Yes, I made a wrong choice, an impulsive decision. I am tormented by it every day in my dreams. But I know that once I have made my choice, there is no turning back. I can only move forward," Eternity nodded.
"Xiao Ling is still frozen, right? You could have been together with her for a long time, but you cruelly sealed her away. Have you ever thought that even if she is reborn and gains eternal life, she might feel heartbroken when she learns what you have done?" Yi Yu asked.
"Maybe she will, but this is for her sake, to be with her forever. I believe that given time, she will understand my good intentions," Eternity replied calmly.
"Unfortunately, your goal has been completely shattered. You have angered a terrifying person, someone who has made all your efforts go to waste," Yi Yu sneered. "Now, do you feel any sense of defeat?"
"Defeat?" Eternity also sneered. "I don't feel any defeat at all. I lost to Lord and his group of useless fools. They are arrogant and proud but are nothing more than brainless idiots because they have tolerated the growth of Shura!"
"You are still so confident. The one who has failed is you. You cannot defeat Shura, and even now, you are trying to cover up your failure. Ling Feng, you are making a huge mistake," Yi Yu mocked.
"At this point, success or failure doesn't matter anymore. I already know the outcome of this battle; I have nothing more to say. But I don't understand why you came alone. Are you not afraid that I will kill you?" Eternity's eyes flashed with a hint of coldness.
"My purpose for coming here is simple. My brother made a mistake, so it is my duty as the elder brother to end it. Besides, I want to hear if there is any regret in your heart; that is my true purpose," Yi Yu said. "Brotherhood lasts a lifetime; when a brother goes astray or far away, the elder brother must help him find relief."
"Hahaha... Elder brother, are you actually trying to atone for yourself? If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be in this situation now. Ultimately, all my desires were sparked by you!" Eternity suddenly laughed maniacally.
After laughing, Eternity's eyes turned red as if he had gone mad: "Is it my fault? If you hadn't told me about the existence of Eternal Life potions, would I have killed my own brother?"
"Yes, these things are the fault of the elder brother. I underestimated the greed of human desire and caused this situation; I bear the greatest responsibility and have been tormented by nightmares all these years," Yi Yu said with a pained expression.
"Then on what basis do you come here to question me? On what grounds do you make me repent?" Eternity retorted. "You are truly foolish; do you think that even a sickly tiger won't bite?" With that, Eternity pulled out a silver handgun as if performing magic and pointed it at Yi Yu's head.
"In fact, I didn't tell you everything earlier. Every day I suffer because of my mistakes, but I hate you even more. Why did you have to tell me about Eternal Life?" Eternity asked nervously.
Yi Yu could have stopped Eternity from drawing the gun but chose not to intervene and allowed Eternity to point the gun at his head.
"Go ahead and shoot. If my death can lessen your hatred even a little bit, then pull the trigger. Consider it my apology as an elder brother; it was I who fueled your desires," Yi Yu held onto the gun's barrel and stared intently into Eternity's eyes.
"You think I won't dare?" Eternity said with a fierce expression as he pulled the safety off his gun.
"I never said you wouldn't dare. Go ahead and shoot!" Yi Yu shouted.
Eternity's eyes were filled with anger as he stared at Yi Yu for a long time. Eventually, his anger dissipated, and he lowered the gun, sighing, "Since I made a mistake once, I won't make the same mistake again."
"You still haven't changed; you never repeat the same mistakes," Yi Yu said. "Let go. As long as you let go, your heart will be freed. Let yourself go, and let Xiao Ling go too."
"If there’s no Eternal Life medicine, what good will it do if Xiao Ling wakes up from her frozen state?" Eternity said with a bitter smile.
"At least she could live for several more decades," Yi Yu replied.
"That's impossible. She has breast cancer, and it's in the terminal stage. Even if she comes back to life, with current technology, we can't save her. That's why I wanted to use the Eternal Life medicine to save her, but I don't have any!" Eternity said painfully.
This was the truth!
Eternity couldn't bear to watch his beloved leave and planned to use the Eternal Life medicine to save Xiao Ling's life. However, he only learned about Xiao Ling's illness after he had taken the medicine; by then, all of it had already been consumed, and he couldn't get even one pill!

Upon hearing Yi Yu's words, Eternity felt as if his heart had been struck by lightning. He stood in shock for a long time before bursting into self-deprecating laughter. "Hahaha... I was so wrong! Brothers, I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!!"
At that moment, the door was kicked open, and Mo Ming and a group of people rushed in. Six foreigners attempted to draw their guns but were shot down by Mo Ming and his companions first.
When Mo Ming saw Yi Yu sitting with a young man, he froze for a moment before a surge of anger erupted from within him. "Eternity!!"
"Heh heh, what was meant to come has finally arrived," Eternity said with a calm smile. "Shura, after all this time dealing with each other, we've finally reached the end. Let's fight; my heart is already unburdened."
Mo Ming stepped forward slowly, sneering. "After all this time dealing with each other, it's time to end this. Eternity, your actions over the years deserve their due consequences!"
"Brother, I'm grateful that you still chose to talk so much with me at the last moment. If I had known those things earlier, perhaps we wouldn't have come to this point. It's really not your fault; it's my weakness that made me a slave to desire," Eternity said gratefully as he glanced at Yi Yu. He then picked up the gun and pointed it at his own head, softly saying, "Farewell... Brother, if there's a next life, I still want to be your brother! Please take care of her for me..."
Yi Yu did not stop.

A gunshot rang out.
Everyone was stunned by this shot.
No one expected that a leader who once dominated the underworld, Eternity, would meet his end like this. Compared to others, he died the most peacefully; no one could have imagined that he would leave without any resistance.
This gunshot signified the end of the Dark Order organization and marked the conclusion of Mo Ming's mission!
No one could fathom how easily Eternity was dealt with. Except for Yi Yu, no one would understand that Eternity was truly liberated, free from all pain, and no longer haunted by nightmares.
“Mo Ming, he is dead now; your inner demons should come to an end as well,” Yi Yu said, reaching out to close Eternity's eyes. He looked at Mo Ming and added, “In truth, he was a pitiful man. Since he has passed away, I hope you can let go of your hatred.”
With that, Yi Yu picked up Eternity's body and left. Regardless of what wrongs Eternity had committed, in death, he should be with his former brothers. Even in atonement, he should be beside them.
Yes, Yi Yu intended to bury Eternity next to all the fallen brothers.
