Mo Ming, Crocodile, Poisonous Madness, and Wu Yong waited on the rooftop for half an hour until they finally heard the roar of a helicopter in the sky. A military green helicopter, adorned with the flag of Y Country, slowly descended.
Once the helicopter landed, a middle-aged man was kicked out of the aircraft. Miyu and Shizuka Domoto were also pushed out, and the last person to be thrown out was none other than the infamous Thai King of Killers, Four-Faced Buddha. Seeing his defiant expression, Liufeng chuckled, "Stop glaring; your eyes are about to pop out. You should understand the principle of winners and losers!"
"Fuck you, Hunter! Falling into your hands is bad luck for me, Four-Faced Buddha. Do whatever you want—kill or torture me—but spare me the nonsense. If you think I will submit, you’re dreaming!"
Four-Faced Buddha was furious; having killed countless people, he never expected to become a prisoner. He found it utterly humiliating but refused to take his own life. To him, seeking death was an act of weakness; only by living could he wash away this disgrace!
"If I wanted to kill you, I wouldn't have gone through all this trouble to bring you back. We’re keeping you alive because my boss wants to talk," Liufeng said with a light smile. He looked up at Mo Ming and his group as they approached, opened his arms for a hug with them, and shook hands with Wu Yong for an introduction.
Wu Yong smiled slightly and introduced himself as well.
"Boss, don’t forget about the feast you promised! I’ve shed quite a bit of blood to catch these guys!" Liufeng grinned wickedly at Yamada Ikko, the old fox. "On my way here, I ran into quite a bit of trouble; that old fox's Heavenly Ninja Group still had remnants trying to kidnap people—what fools! They came here just to die! It worked out perfectly!"
"Haha! Liufeng, you've done a great job! Order as much abalone as you want today; it's on me! I guarantee you'll make up for all that blood you've lost!"
Mo Ming laughed heartily and patted Liufeng on the shoulder before walking over to Miyu. She looked at him with a mournful expression and self-deprecatingly said, "Who would have thought that not killing you back then would lead me to become your prisoner now? Shura, you're truly a terrifying enemy. Not killing you was my mistake; now that I'm in your hands, feel free to humiliate me however you wish!"
"The wheel of fortune turns; I still remember the humiliation you inflicted on me back then. However, because of your mercy, I’m still alive today. I won’t humiliate you; instead, I will kill you. As Shura, I'm ruthless and won’t allow anyone capable of threatening me to live!"
Mo Ming grinned menacingly. It wasn’t that he lacked compassion; in his eyes, not every woman deserved pity or kindness. Moreover, since Miyu had humiliated him repeatedly in the past, he felt no sympathy for her.
"Then should I thank you for granting me a swift end?" Miyu had long given up hope for life. The circumstances that led her here were not entirely her fault; fate had been unkind to her and turned her into a wretched being. Now that she could die, all her suffering would be relieved.
"Blame your father; everything that has happened is his fault," Mo Ming said expressionlessly as he pulled out a silver pistol and aimed it at Miyu. Meanwhile, Shizuka Domoto, bound hand and foot nearby, wriggled toward Miyu and shouted, "Shura! If you're going to kill her, you'll have to kill me first!"
"Shizuka Domoto! Shut up; this isn’t your concern!" Miyu shouted at Shizuka before turning to Mo Ming with a sinister smile. "Shura, you're here to kill me; go ahead—just one shot will end it all!"
"No!" Shizuka Domoto crawled closer to Miyu and blocked the gun's muzzle. "Shura! Everything she did was out of necessity! Please! If you're going to kill someone, then kill me instead! Let me atone for her sins!"
"Hahahaha..." Yamada Ikko laughed uncontrollably nearby until Mo Ming raised an eyebrow and shot at Yamada Ikko's thigh without hesitation. The pain made Yamamoto Ichihon stop laughing immediately.
"Hmph! Old fool! As death approaches you should stop laughing—laughing at your whole family!" Mo Ming snorted coldly before shifting the gun's aim back to Shizuka Domoto's forehead. "Do you really want to die for her?"
"Yes! Kill me!" Shizuka Domoto insisted firmly. "She’s a pitiful person who has suffered since childhood. After meeting that bastard Yamada Ikko, she lived somewhat happily for a while but later went to Y Country where she endured a life worse than death..."
"Enough! Shizuka Domoto, I don't need your pity!" Miyu pushed Shizuka Domoto aside and said to Mo Ming, "Shoot! I have no attachment to this world anymore. What does life and death matter? It's better to die than to live in pain."
"Shura, kill me!" Shizuka Domoto shouted loudly.
"Alright, I understand," Mo Ming nodded, a sinister smile appearing on his lips as he put away his gun. "I was planning to kill you, but I must say, I was moved by Shizuka Domoto's sincerity. You did humiliate me last time, but I can overlook that. In a sense, you saved my life. I can let you go this time, but I hope you won't appear before me again. Otherwise, I can't guarantee that I won't kill you."
Miyu and Shizuka Domoto were both taken aback, and then Shizuka Domoto said with joy, "Are you really not going to kill us?"
"I usually eliminate threats completely, but your sincerity has moved me. I've decided to let you go. After all, without Gong Gao Yi's connection, we don't have any major grievances," Mo Ming said calmly. "Alright, I've said enough. Before I return, hurry up and leave!"
With that, two Black Men who came with Liufeng untied Miyu and Shizuka Domoto. Miyu was skeptical and just as she was about to leave with Shizuka Domoto, Mo Ming stopped them.
"Are you having second thoughts?" Miyu sneered.
Mo Ming shook his head and smiled. "No, I just want to ask you one thing: where is the ancient book that recorded the Meteorite?"
"What do you want that ancient book for?" Miyu asked with a frown.
"You don't need to worry about what I want it for; just tell me where it is, and that's enough," Mo Ming replied with a faint smile.
Miyu hesitated for a moment and then sighed deeply. "Fine, I can tell you. That ancient book should be in Yamamoto Ichihong's villa in Y Country. Of course, the Hunter knows where that villa is, so there's no need for me to elaborate."
"Good, you can leave now." Mo Ming ignored Miyu further as she and Shizuka Domoto left the rooftop. The remaining Yamada Ikko covered his bleeding wound and looked at the approaching Mo Ming in terror. "What do you want?"
"Gong Gao Yi, I think you should remember this place. You committed some heinous acts in Nanhua City back then; I'm sure you remember without me reminding you," Mo Ming grinned.
Yamada Ikko shuddered at Mo Ming's reminder and stammered, "Y-you're here to kill me for Murong Wei? How do you know I'm in Y Country?"
"Heh heh, Murong Wei is my father-in-law. As for whether or not I'll kill you, that's up to him. But before that, I'll let you experience my methods first," Mo Ming signaled one of the Black Men to knock Yamada Ikko out.
The Black Man immediately understood Mo Ming's intention and approached Yamada Ikko with a swift strike that knocked him unconscious. Mo Ming walked over to the Four-Faced Buddha and smiled at him. "I didn't expect that after several months we would meet again. Four-Faced Buddha, your actions in Y Country must have been commissioned by Reed."
"Hmph, Shura, you've really impressed me. Once a renowned King of Soldiers in the military world; even retired, you're still a person who commands respect," Four-Faced Buddha coldly laughed. "It seems I'll never get the chance to kill you in this lifetime."
"If you're going to kill me?" Mo Ming smiled lightly. "Four-Faced Buddha, it seems we don't have much enmity between us. If we're talking grudges, it's only because I killed someone before you did; there's no need for you to want to kill me over this matter."
"You say it lightly, but I, the Four-Faced Buddha, have never failed in killing. Because of you, I have failed this time. Do you think I won't kill you?" The Four-Faced Buddha gritted his teeth, as if Mo Ming had killed his father. For someone like him, face often mattered more than life.
"By now, it seems there will be one more failure added to your list. Yes, you failed to kill me, but let me say this boldly: many people want my life, but how many can actually do it?" Mo Ming's lips curled into a confident smile as he said, "Four-Faced Buddha, no one will mock you because the one who caused your failure is me!"
"Bastard, what do you mean?" The Four-Faced Buddha roared. If his hands and feet weren't bound by Mo Ming, he would probably have fought him to the death. Seeing his furious expression only made Mo Ming's smile widen.
"My meaning is quite clear; it's just a failed mission. There's no need for you to harbor deep hatred towards me. After all, your strength is inferior to mine; it's only natural that you can't kill me."
With an air of nonchalance, Mo Ming said to the Four-Faced Buddha, "Don't believe me? I can give you a chance—a wager. If you can kill me, then you win. If you can't, then you must help me with something!"
"Why should I agree to that?" The Four-Faced Buddha sneered coldly.
"For a chance to kill me," Mo Ming shrugged and smiled. "Of course, if you're scared, you don't have to accept; I can't force you..."
"You think I'm afraid of you!" The Four-Faced Buddha snorted coldly. "I accept your wager. If I kill you, I hope your people won't trouble me afterward; otherwise, I'll find it very annoying!"
"Of course they won't bother you, but that's only if you manage to defeat me. Unfortunately, that's impossible." Mo Ming scoffed dismissively and signaled a black man to help untie the Four-Faced Buddha. The man nodded and stepped forward to loosen the ropes binding him.
