Four-Faced Buddha could not bring back Miyu and the others, so he had no choice but to report to Reed.
“There was a bit of an unexpected situation... I couldn't bring anyone back,” Four-Faced Buddha said, his cheeks feeling as if they had been slapped hard, making him particularly uncomfortable.
As a notorious killer, it was humiliating for Four-Faced Buddha to let the opponent escape when he had the advantage in numbers. He felt his pride trampled into the ground.

If we really fought, I would undoubtedly lose,” Four-Faced Buddha said, a hint of killing intent flashing in his eyes. “But don't worry, since I've taken your money, I will find a way to help you capture that woman.”
“It better be that way. Since I've paid you, you must do your job,” Reed said, calming his anger. “The mastermind behind this is Gong Gao Yi. I want you to find him alive; no dead bodies, understood?”
“Sure, leave this matter to me,” Four-Faced Buddha nodded. “I will take action right now and will finish this as soon as possible. Remember to transfer the money into my account; otherwise, you know what I will do.”
Fair is fair; Four-Faced Buddha did not capture Miyu, and while Reed blamed him, he wouldn’t argue. However, when it came to getting the job done, money was unavoidable. If Reed dared not to pay him his commission, he would use his methods to collect what was owed from the Frank Family.
“Don't worry; I will transfer every penny to you,” Reed replied calmly. “However, if you fail to accomplish what I've asked for, according to your rules, you must compensate me double...”
Four-Faced Buddha smiled slightly and interrupted Reed, full of confidence. “You can rest assured about that. Over the years, I've accumulated quite a bit of money from my work. If I can't accomplish your task, I will compensate you; but there won't be any 'ifs'!”
After saying that, Four-Faced Buddha turned and left Reed's room.
“Gong Gao Yi, since you are merciless, don’t blame me for being ruthless!” Reed clenched his fist and slammed it heavily on the table, causing the teacups on the surface to crash to the floor and shatter into pieces. Remembering that this tea set was brought in by Miyu, a surge of anger surged within him.
“Ah!” Reed frantically pushed the remaining tea set off the table onto the floor; the shards flew everywhere with an incredibly pleasant sound. This tea set was worth over three million as an antique; unfortunately, it had now become a pile of waste.
At that moment, his phone rang.
If it weren't for the prominent figures involved, it would be impossible to know Reed's phone number. Now that his phone was ringing, Reed naturally didn't dare to neglect it. He picked up the phone and saw that the caller ID was Abraham.
Usually, his relationship with Abraham could only be considered average. The fact that Abraham was calling him at this time surely meant there was something important to discuss. "General Abraham, you're too kind. If it weren't urgent, I doubt you would disturb me. Besides, it's truly an honor to receive a call from General Abraham," Reed replied with a natural smile, giving off a friendly vibe.
"Alright, let's get down to business."
"Yes, please go ahead."
"The situation is this: I've been entrusted by the Dragon Soul Gang's Shura to discuss matters with you. It seems he is quite sincere about wanting to negotiate with you. Could we arrange a meeting tomorrow?"
Actually, even without Abraham mentioning it, Reed had already guessed that this matter was related to Mo Ming.
After hearing Abraham's words, Reed showed no surprise and continued smiling, "Oh? What kind of influence does Shura have that makes you personally come forward on his behalf?"
"That's not our main point, dear Leader Reed. I hope you'll consider this carefully. The Frank Family is one of the prominent families in our Country Y, while the Dragon Soul Gang may be a new faction, but as you've seen, their power has grown significantly. It was clear that Abraham's tone was very polite and respectful towards Reed.

Not long after Miyu's assassination attempt failed.
Return of the Dragon.
“Boss, I got news that Miyu really went to assassinate Reed, but Reed was prepared and she didn't succeed.” The Lion hurriedly came to inform Mo Ming after receiving the news from Jessica.
“Oh? What about Miyu's situation?”
Mo Ming was somewhat surprised. In fact, he wasn't sure whether Miyu would attempt to assassinate Reed. After all, the news of the assassination had already reached Mo Ming. Even if Miyu didn't know whether Mo Ming had informed Reed or not, she shouldn't have taken such a risk.

Just knowing her general location will be enough," Mo Ming said with a hint of joy at the corner of his mouth. After searching for so long and putting in so much effort, they were finally close to finding Gong Gao Yi. How could he not be happy?
"I know. I've already told them to be cautious, and I've also notified Liufeng to hurry and follow. With Liufeng on the job, I believe things will go much smoother," the Lion nodded.
"That's for sure. Liufeng is the Unbeaten War God; he has completed so many missions without ever failing. I trust him completely," Mo Ming looked at the Lion, intending to suggest that he learn from Liufeng, but he held back.
He didn't want to lecture the Lion too much, as it might annoy him. A person's growth should come from their own understanding; a timely reminder here and there would suffice. No matter how much others say, it would only lead to annoyance.
Life is about stumbling through failures and getting back up again; no one can escape this seemingly natural law. Even Mo Ming, who appeared strong, had countless setbacks in his life.
"Yeah, that kid Liufeng is quite capable; I really admire him. But I won't give up so easily," the Lion grinned and said, "Don't worry, boss; I'll work hard to catch up with Liufeng."
Hearing this, Mo Ming felt reassured and patted the Lion's shoulder, saying, "Lion, if you think like that, I believe you can do it."
"I will," the Lion nodded resolutely. "Alright, it's getting late; I won't disturb you and Qianqian's good time any longer. I'll take my leave now."
Mo Ming punched the Lion's shoulder playfully and scolded, "With that mouth of yours, I bet you'll never change!"
"I'm really leaving now; otherwise Qianqian will come out and kill me!" The Lion scratched his head and hurriedly made his exit.
"The lion..." Mo Ming chuckled bitterly and shook his head, turning back to the room, where he saw Jun Qianqian still awake, leaning against the headboard.
"Qianqian, why aren't you asleep yet?"
"I was sleeping just fine until your phone woke me up," Jun Qianqian complained a bit. "And you, what are you doing out at this hour?"
"Uh, the lion needed something from me, so I stepped out for a bit," Mo Ming replied with a forced smile. "Who called?"
"Abraham. He asked me to tell you that Reed has agreed, and the location is here at noon," Jun Qianqian answered simply.
"Oh, got it." Mo Ming grinned mischievously and pounced on Jun Qianqian.
Jun Qianqian pushed him away and smiled flirtatiously. "What are you doing?"
"What do you think?" Mo Ming stared intently at Jun Qianqian.
"Who knows what you're up to? Get off me; you're too heavy!"
"It's a long night; what do you expect me to do?" Mo Ming kept grinning as he quickly turned off the bedside lamp and said, "Of course, I'm going to eat you!"
