The sun was setting in the west, and darkness was rapidly engulfing the earth. Just as the darkness was about to cover everything, the bright moon hung high, casting a glow over the land. 0

Outside the Frank Family estate, a black Lamborghini entered without any hindrance. The guards recognized it; it was the vehicle of the Young Clan Leader's wife, so naturally, no one dared to stop it. 0

"Mu Cuiyan, you've been with me for almost six years now, right?" Miyu stopped the car and smiled at Mu Cuiyan, a bittersweet smile that even an outsider could sense the sorrow behind. 0

"Yes, in another month it will be seven years. Sister Mei, why bring this up?" Mu Cuiyan furrowed her willow-like brows and blinked her Dan Feng eyes. 0

Miyu shook her head with a bitter smile and said, "It's nothing, my dear sister. Thanks to your care over the years, I've managed to get through so many difficulties. From now on, you can do what you want to do." 0

"Why?" Mu Cuiyan asked in surprise. 0

"There is ten million in this card. It's not much, but take it and live the life you want." Miyu took out a card from her handbag and handed it to Mu Cuiyan, trying hard to smile naturally. "The password is your birthday. Take the money and quickly leave this place of troubles. Don't come back." 0

"Sister Mei, did I do something wrong?" Mu Cuiyan pushed Miyu's hand away and said, "If I did something wrong, please tell me. I will change. Sister Mei, please don’t drive me away; I don’t want to leave you." 0

"No, you haven't done anything wrong. You take this money; it's your reward for all these years." Miyu hurriedly shook her head and forced the card back into Mu Cuiyan's hand. 0

"If you don't explain why, I won't take it," Mu Cuiyan said as tears streamed down her face. "Sister Mei, you've treated me so well over the years. No matter what happened, you were always the first to help me solve my problems. I will always remember your kindness; even a lifetime wouldn't be enough to repay you." 0

The first time she met Miyu was during her most desperate moment when she escaped from a deadly gathering of agents and was pursued by her organization. If it weren't for Miyu's willingness to help, Mu Cuiyan wouldn't be alive today! 0

"What I'm doing tonight is too dangerous; life or death is uncertain. I don't want to implicate you. Listen to your sister: quickly take the money and leave this place of troubles!" Miyu pressed the card into Mu Cuiyan's hand and tightly held hers. "If I survive tonight, can we still be sisters?" 0

"Sister Mei..." Mu Cuiyan bit her lip as tears flowed uncontrollably down her cheeks. "Since things are so dangerous, why not let me go instead? I would willingly face any danger for you." 0

"No!" Miyu raised her voice sharply. "If you truly consider me your good sister, you should listen to me and not be willful; otherwise, I might die right in front of you." 0

Miyu pulled out a small black pistol from her handbag and pressed it against her temple, disengaging the safety. "Do you want me to die right in front of you?" 0

"Don't... Sister Mei, I'll listen to you! Put down the gun; it's dangerous! I'll take the money and leave here; just put down the gun!" Mu Cuiyan looked shocked but was afraid that Miyu would harm herself and didn't dare make any sudden moves. 0

“Mu Cuiyan, I hope you won't deceive me.” Miyu finally sighed in relief, putting the gun back into her handbag, zipping it up before reaching for the door. 0

Mu Cuiyan tightened her grip on Miyu's hand. 0

“Miyu, do you want to trick me?” 0

Miyu turned around in shock to look at Mu Cuiyan, whose makeup had been ruined by tears. 0

“No, Sister Mei, I just hope you will be careful.” Mu Cuiyan released her hand, tears in her eyes as she said, “I will wait for your news. If something happens to you... I will leave here. If you are safe, can we be sisters again?” 0

“Okay.” Miyu nodded, turned around and lightly hugged Mu Cuiyan before quickly opening the car door. She said to Mu Cuiyan, “You drive this car out. It's getting late, and I need to do what I have to do.” 0

With that, Miyu closed the car door. 0

Mu Cuiyan climbed into the driver's seat and looked out the window at Miyu. She softly said, “Sister Mei, I hope heaven protects you and keeps you safe. I will wait for your safe return.” After saying that, Mu Cuiyan reluctantly took one last look at Miyu before starting the engine and driving away. 0

“Mu Cuiyan, take care.” Miyu stood there watching the car disappear from view. She took a deep breath and stepped forward towards Reed's castle. Tonight's success or failure would determine her fate; failure would mean death. 0

She had grown numb to death. If the assassination of Reed failed, the Heavenly Ninja Group would fall into Reed's relentless pursuit, but that no longer concerned her. She had already repaid Yamada Ikko's kindness with her life. 0

However, Miyu was not a cold-hearted person. She didn't want Mu Cuiyan and Shizuka Domoto—two people who genuinely cared for her—to accompany her to death. Therefore, she had to push them away and face this uncertain fate alone. 0

Arriving at Reed's room, Miyu took a deep breath to adjust her emotions before knocking on the door. 0

“Come in.” 0

Reed's voice came from inside. 0

Miyu opened the door and walked in with a normal expression. Although she appeared calm on the outside, there was an underlying hint of fear in her eyes, and her heart raced uncontrollably. 0

For Reed, the patriarch of the Frank Family who could walk freely in Y Country, Miyu had already witnessed his terrifying nature and knew all too well that if she made a mistake, even a quick death would be a luxury. 0

"Oh, Miyu, it's been a long time since I last saw you. What brings you to me today?" Reed did not lift his head, his eyes still fixed on the book in front of him. 0

Miyu smiled slightly and said, "I just wanted to ask about Father. How is my dear husband Rossi doing? Is he alright?" 0

Upon hearing this, Reed closed the book and looked up with a warm smile. "So you were thinking about Rossi. He will be fine, I assure you. Although he is still with the Dragon Soul Gang, you don't need to worry. I will make sure those bastards from the Dragon Soul Gang pay for it." 0

"With Father's words, I feel much more at ease. If only I could take Rossi's place as a hostage, just to ensure that those people from the Dragon Soul Gang don't make things difficult for him," Miyu feigned concern, nearly bursting into tears on the spot. 0

Seeing this, Reed almost regarded Miyu as a good daughter-in-law willing to suffer in place of her husband. If she were sincere, she could truly become a good daughter-in-law. 0

Unfortunately, Miyu's words and actions were merely a performance aimed at distracting Reed so she could take advantage of the situation. 0

"You are so thoughtful. Rossi is lucky to have such a wonderful wife like you; I believe God will not abandon him and will surely bring him back to you safely," Reed said while looking at Miyu. 0

"Yes, I hope Rossi can escape from this suffering soon," Miyu nodded helplessly and glanced at Reed's book. 0

The title was "A Thousand Ways to Make Enemies Obedient," a book describing methods of tormenting others, authored by Reed himself. 0

Upon seeing the title, Miyu's previously tense heart became even more unsettled, and a flicker of panic crossed her eyes involuntarily. 0

Reed noticed something unusual in Miyu's expression and asked curiously, "Miyu, what's wrong? You look pale. Are you feeling unwell?" 0

Startled by his question, Miyu quickly shook her head. "It's nothing; I just felt uneasy when I saw the title of that book." 0

Miyu pointed at the book. 0

"Oh, there's no need to worry. I only use these methods to deal with enemies," Reed nodded in understanding. 0

Miyu tried her best to stay calm, a slight smile appearing at the corner of her lips. She said, “Father, how can you read without some good tea? I realized it’s been a while since I last brewed some for you. Let me prepare a pot for you.”“Sure! It's been so long since I’ve had your tea. I’ve really missed it. Since you’re being so thoughtful, go ahead and brew me a pot,” Reed replied with great delight, nodding immediately.“Alright, I’ll prepare some tea for Father right now.” Miyu’s face lit up with joy as she turned and left the room. How could she not be happy with such a perfect opportunity to act? As long as she poisoned the tea, killing Reed would be easy. Once Reed was dead, it would be effortless to frame the Dragon Soul Gang. Even if Mo Ming found out, what could he do? The enraged Frank Family would definitely not let it go. By then, as the Frank Family and the Dragon Soul Gang fought to the death, the ones who would benefit most would be their Heavenly Ninja Group. While Miyu went to make the tea, Reed reopened his book and continued reading. Before long, Miyu returned, carrying a complete set of tea utensils.“Father, the tea is ready. Please have a taste and see if my skills have improved.” Miyu poured Reed a cup of tea, smiling warmly.“Alright, I’ll give it a try.” Reed put down his book, picked up the teacup, and brought it to his nose, sniffing it repeatedly.Seeing this, Miyu couldn’t help but feel a pang of anxiety. Did Reed notice something? But the poison was colorless and tasteless—how could he possibly smell it?“Father, is something wrong?” Miyu mustered the courage to ask.“No, not at all. Miyu, your skills are getting better and better. This tea smells wonderful,” Reed said, shaking his head before savoring the tea in his cup.As Miyu watched Reed finish the entire cup, her worries disappeared completely.“Father, how’s the tea?” Miyu asked with a smile. 0
"This tea is not bad, but why do I feel so dizzy after drinking it?" Reed frowned, supporting his head with his hand. 0

"Heh heh, dizziness is just right," Miyu said as she took out a prepared handgun from her purse and aimed it at Reed. 0

"What are you... trying to do?" Reed asked in shock, covering his head. 0

"What am I doing? Can't you tell? Father, I'm going to kill you!" A murderous intent flashed in Miyu's eyes. Today’s events were a matter of life or death; from her perspective, she could survive. 0

Reed asked in confusion, "I've treated you well, so why... why are you doing this?" 0

"For no reason. Blame yourself for being Reed!" Miyu sneered. "Don't worry, once you're dead, I'll make sure to send you down to meet Shura." 0

Just as Miyu laughed and was about to pull the trigger, a figure suddenly rushed out from the corner and was upon her in the blink of an eye. 0

"Ah." Miyu didn't have time to shoot; her gun was kicked away, and then she received a heavy kick to her abdomen, sending her flying backward. 0

This sudden turn of events left Miyu with no chance to fire; she fell to the ground without even seeing how the other party had acted. 0
